We loved this peaceful lakefront property. Perfect little getaway from city life with enough space for your family to enjoy without being right on top of each other. We loved it. That knats kind of took over on our last night buuuttt we enjoyed this property overall. Would definitely stay again.
We enjoyed our stay. Very nice clean cabin. Was very unique and if you forgot something you knew they would have it. The only thing was the window unit in the main bedroom did not work. It was extremely hot until the evening time. Other than that enjoyed the family weekend with the 8 of us.
This place has everything you need for an off the beaten path getaway. Decent fishing from dock. Sure weather and heat made some days super slow. WiFi decent but your cell service not so good! Quiet cove with friendly neighbors! Amazing how place started from little camp trailer. If you want a no frills vacation or a fishing trip with buddies this is a great place for that. Definitely need AWD or 4x4 for the driveway especially after rain. Bring your bug repellent and you'll be fine outside! Tiki torches around deck repelled most everything. Had great time with fiance!
Great lakefront property in quiet part of the lake...
Wonderful lakefront property in a quiet cove in the northern part of the Lake of the Ozarks. Had a weekend in August before our Son headed back to school and decided to rent this property. Really great view of the lake, wonderful screened in porch with a great view, great porch, nice private dock to swim off of. There was very little to no phone signal for us and no wifi so be aware if you require this during your stay. Also, bring your own DVD's for the little ones as their dvd collection is limited. With that said we were not there to have phone signal, wifi, or watch TV, we really wanted to enjoy the lake and nature and we certainly were able to do that. Would return. Thank you Grant and Family for allowing us to enjoy.

Disliked: Location, listing accuracy
Long review with much info that the owner left out
Cute old house not bad for a stay, We stayed for a week. The description doesn’t tell you anything, So I started asking questions. The owner and I chat for a few questions, Then he responds any questions need to be listed out and sent after 5 pm, And that I need to limit to one more communication before move in. The comment about waiting to ask questions until after 5 is totally understandable because they work, But tell me that from the start don’t answer 3 or 4 questions then say that. Check in was easy, Do not go down the driveway without 4 wheel drive or all wheel, it’s very very steep. The house was dirty, tables were nasty, and there were bugs and dirt in the beds. We went ahead and cleaned everything and washed the sheets, only took about 30 mins with 6 of us cleaning. Reached out to the owner and he venmoed me $50 for dinner which was nice of him. There’s actually 2 bathrooms both with showers, And it looks like there’s 3 bedrooms but there’s only two. They never said the sizes of the beds in the description, So in the big bedroom there’s a full size bed and a twin bed, and the other room is off the dinning room with a full size bed and a shower curtain for the door. The beds were AWFUL, Bowed in the middle very badly. Window units were nasty, black mold on them and I had to clean the filters on them so they would work better, and the fans are extremely dirty and covered in dust. Dock sucked, splinter city.
We had a very nice stay even though the weather didn't cooperate. The owners were very nice and helpful, the property was as it was pictured and comfortable. The roads were a little rough but that was to be expected after all the rain we have had. Overall it was very well worth it!

Rustic Cabin
overpriced given the property. Not allowed to flush toilet paper down the toilet. Really?
I recently stayed at the property and my friends and I just loved it! It is tucked back on a quite cove and the deck has a wonderful view! Grant was super helpful and check in was a breeze. The house was very clean and welcoming, we loved the use a little, leave a little pantry and bar. My only recommendation is to do not try and pull down the drive if you do not have a 4X4 use the little pads at the top. I will defiantly keep this property in mind and stay again as everything was perfect.
Grant,
