Relax and be inspired by the breathtaking 180° Puget Sound View! A beautiful, serene, island retreat that feels worlds away but only a few miles from the quaint town of Gig Harbor. Soak up views of the Olympics and all of Carr Inlet with delightful sunsets, while drinking a glass of wine at the outdoor fire pit, or while soaking in the hot tub watching eagles soar overhead. Decorated with stunning local Northwest images by renowned photographer and owner. This scenic, private, Mother In Law apartment is the lower level of a residential home with a separate entrance and private patio with fire-chat area, outdoor seating, BBQ grill and 4 person hot tub. The unit accommodates 2 people in their own bedroom or 4 total with additional, pull out sofa-bed with Queen tempurpedic mattress. Luxurious linens, a variety of pillows and blankets are all provided. This beautiful, private space with full bath and kitchen are appointed with stainless steel appliances, washer/dryer, kitchenware, dish and laundry soap, coffee and tea, toilet paper and paper towels and all linens.
The unit is the lower level of a home and has a private entrance. Access to the unit is down 8 steps with a railing or walk around down a gentle slope.

Tranquill Getaway

We had the most amazing and relaxing stay at this beautiful waterfront property. From the breathtaking and amazing views of the Puget Sound, sunsets, and Bald Eagles to a perfectly decorated and stocked kitchen, we enjoyed ourselves to the fullest. We will definitely be back in the future.

Beautiful and peacful

Very clean. The view was amazing. The hot tub was awesome. I have no complaints. The only thing that wasnt there was Audrey the cat. We were excited to meet her but she never showed up. Other than that it was a great mini vacation.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay on the Puget Sound. This was the perfect place to stay. It was private, clean, and quiet. We used the washer/dryer which was handy. And we walked the short trail for even better views! Would definitely return!

It really is a stunning view & more.

We are extremely happy to have chosen this Vacation Rental! Jennelle, the owner and host was most helpful and gracious. Receiving the entry instructions a day in advance was appreciated. She came out to greet us upon arrival and showed us around.,The unit is compact but we had everything we needed. The furnishings were top quality inside and out. Jennelle is a talented photographer and her pieces on display were very interesting and enjoyable. The view, of course is the main highlight. We can’t recommend this unit highly enough!

"Snow, Silence, and the Kind of Peace You Don’t Want to Leave

This was the latter.A 180-degree view that makes you forget the rest of the world exists… snow falling while we soaked in the hot tub, wrapped in silence so deep it felt sacred. Perfect personal business retreat

Thank you so much for the stay at your one80° apartment. It was perfect, quiet, well equipped, you were responsive when I had questions. I got so much done and at the same time felt the space to relax as well as be productive in my future planning. Amazing views and stay

Thank you so much for your amazing space for our honeymoon. The touch of leaving us a gift of champagne was so thoughtful. We loved the space, it was local to restaurants and sites we wanted to see but also quiet and allow us to just relax for a few days. It was amazing would definitely come again. Hosts were very pleasant and helpful, their cat was an angel as well. Incredible view of Puget Sound, nice quiet island retreat, Gig Harbor just a short drive away. Would definitely recommend to couples looking for a relaxing place to stay and would definitely come back if the opportunity arose!

Honeymoon stay at Best View of Puget Sound

We stayed here for our honeymoon in June. Jennelle and Chris are wonderful hosts. Super friendly and helpful to answer any questions we had. The property and amenities were absolutely perfect for our stay. The location and breathtaking views of Puget Sound are exceptional. Highly recommend and we look forward to returning for an anniversary stay.
