The rental was amazing it was clean had everything we needed. The bedrooms were all nice size. Couldn’t figure out how to use the thermostat but sent the owner a text and she responded ASAP. Just a short walk down to town. We will stay again.
House was very spacious, clean and comfortable.
My brother and sister in law joined us and the 3 kids for a couple of days.
Really enjoyed being right on switchback trail and within walking distance to Thorpe downtown.
We have enjoyed visiting Jim Thorpe for years as campers. We have now found a perfect home away from home at Josephines. Thank you!
The property was nice, spacious and such a great location. The family enjoyed themselves very much. You are minutes away from the town of Jim Thorpe and you walk out the door to an 18 mi. trail. The beds were super comfy and the main bedroom was beautiful. Kitchen was fully stocked with all the main things you would need. Great restaurants and tons to do in the area. Check-in and check-out were super easy. We did have trouble with the thermostat the entire time. It is not very intuitive and very hard to just change the temperature. Upon check-in we needed to clean the kitchen walls, floors and counters. The floors were super sticky. Several pieces of furniture are very old and not comfortable at all. Definitely needs to be replaced as some of the couches and chairs the padding is worn down and you are sitting on just the frames. Overall the place is a great stay for a large family.
