We had a great stay. The owners were very nice. Unfortunately, they said they received no notification we were coming from VRBO and had to clean up after we arrived. Had the run of the place though and we're able to pick and eat many fresh peaches, apples, and pears. We loved our stay in this quaint, cute little Casita!

A perfect stay for an introvert. Wonderful connection to the land and rural Colorado lifestyle. Memories of growing up on a farm. Casita was charming and rustic. Quiet and peaceful. I'll definitely return as it's also central to travel location for work.
The host was very attentive to make sure that my stay was comfortable. It is so amazing to stay in a working farm, this is what life is all about.

Unique place
The photos were very complimentary about the Airstream. Some of the views from the windows were of old tires and wooden pallets. The windows and doors did not seal so I was grateful it was not a season for bugs. All I needed was a place to sleep and a bathroom, and this place provided that.
We enjoyed our stay here. The property is cute and clean. We are a family of 4 and had no problems with space. The bunk beds worked great for the kids and there is a full size bed in the back. I loved getting to sit outside and see the orchard trees for the winery. At the end of a busy day it was just what we needed!!
The property is cute and everyone we encounted in this area was very nice
We really enjoyed our stay. It was nice staying in a retro trailer. It was different than just a regular hotel or cabin. You could see the orchard fruit growing and smell it in the air. Beautiful sunset views of the patio. Bed was comfortable and we enjoyed playing the supplied games in the evening.
We went down to Olathe to pick up fresh picked corn and we like to stay in funky places instead of hotel/motels all the time. This was just outside of town and it was very peaceful. We had plenty of space to just relax and chill.
It had all the comforts of home and we were able to cook our meals, but some of the condiments were out of date and saw a few cobwebs in the windows.
Overall it was great and definitely would stay there again and for a longer time.
Our host Wendy always answered our questions in a timely matter. We did not have a problem finding the place either.
Thanks Wendy
Friendly host. Clean comfortable living area. Nice deck to sit on in the evening. Propane grill is handy. Bunk beds are military basic training style, springs are a little weak so an adult will "sink", should be fine for a child. On demand hot water heater, but shower drains a little slow. Great water pressure.
Used for base camp to explore the area. Will look up again on next trip. Recommend local bakery downtown for morning pastries.
Realize that this is a working orchard, there is equipment on the property for that purpose.
My family and I had a great time during our visit in Olathe. Wendy was a wonderful host and very friendly! Probably one of the best we have experienced. The Casita was welcoming, clean, peaceful, quiet and the orchards were pretty! I would definitely stay there again!
Perfect after a day of hiking at Black Canyon & the property as a whole was very welcoming. A yummy basket full of goodies were on the kitchen counter, lots of condiments, seasonings , coffee & more. Bed was comfy, it did take me a minute to find the light switches ( some are located on bottom of outlets). Would definitely stay again if in the area.
We stayed for one night at the Casita, it was cute but definitely needed some updates. The bathroom “door” was just a slider that didn’t fully close. There was also dog hair on the comforter, even though there’s supposed to be no dogs on the bed. However, that’s more on the person that stayed there before me than on the property owner. Other than those two things it was comfy and had what we needed for our quick stay.
This property was a delight! It is being taken care of to preserve its integrity. I appreciated the soft close drawers in the kitchen. I hope that eventually more of this trailer is brought up to reflect a few modern features such as new screens, etc. I believe it can be done & still remain its wonderful charm. My dog & I went for walks on the property twice a day. I was even able to pick peaches right outside my door! Would I stay there again? Definitely! Wendy is easy to work with & very accommodating.
We loved this unique place to stay in Olathe. The location in a working orchard and vineyard was incredible! We enjoyed a wine tasting and ended up buying half a case to take home with us. Wendy was a great host and communication was prompt.
We arrived in time for wine tasting, pear picking, and watching the sunset from our deck. We were then able to cook our dinner and get a good nights sleep. Wendy was great to talk with and very responsive. Who could ask for anything more?
