We liked almost everything about the unit and the host was very flexible when we had to modify our booking due to an unexpected illness. We just wished there had been some shower gel or soap for the shower and more than one towel, since we had 2 adults.

Good for a short stay
Not exactly what the website shows but good for what we needed it for.
The best part of this rental is the location - EVERYTHING we wanted to do was nearby. It was also great that it was pet friendly. There are definitely things that could be better.
PROS:
Location
Pet Friendly
Surrounding Area Felt Safe
Good Space for a Couple
CONS (almost all easily addressed and meant to be constructive):
This rental has a lot of potential to be a cute couple getaway, but it is need of some general maintenance and upgrades. A little would go a long way.
The space was clean, but it didn't feel as clean as it was just because everything was worn and tattered. The paint is uneven, the furnishings are worn, the decor is minimal and haphazardly done.
This is clearly an older unit so it is understandable that it has some quirks. There aren't many outlets and the ones that are there are oddly placed. It is cooled with window units, but the window unit in the bedroom is RIGHT next to the bed and blows in your face all night.
The bed/mattress is squeaky . A comforter or duvet would be much appreciated rather than the quilt. Finding a small side table for the empty side of the bed plus a second lamp would be a big improvement.
Adding extra blankets and small comforts would also be appreciated.
The kitchen could use upgrading. The cabinets are in bad shape.
The bathroom the small but mostly fine - the water does not get warmer than lukewarm in the shower.
I read another review mentioning bugs - we didn't see any. Again, the unit does seem to be clean, just worn down and tired. We had a great trip and will definitely be back to Greenville!
Comfy bed and great location to attractions. Park close by for pet walks.
Overall enjoyed our stay. Please update light bulbs. Some lamps didn't work. Back screen door in need of repair or removal. Hard to get in and out with dogs and screen. Easy check in and very cool air units.
The home was comfy and cozy, and we felt safe there. Everything we needed was provided. The weather was very hot, but the two window AC units kept the unit comfortable.
The home is on a busy street, but just around the corner there are quiet residential streets and a little park where you can walk your dog. We plan to return! If we bring friends, we will rent the other half of the duplex, which has two bedrooms.
The unit is one side of a duplex, convenient to town. Our only issue was the lack of places to hang things. Only 1 hanger in the closet. We tried to hang coats on the 3 hooks in the living room and they fell off the wall. The shelves in the bathroom likewise would have fallen off, if we had tried to use them. However, the unit was clean, just showing a bit of wear, and stocked with everything we needed. We would stay there again (but we'd bring hangers!)
Everything would have been fine - the place was clean, accurately listed, location good. We stayed one night. We did not like the heating system - it was loud, and if you close the bedroom door to block the noise, you got no heat. We would have sucked that up. But cockroaches? They breed illness. WORSE THAN THAT, THOUGH, WAS THE HOST'S RESPONSE when I told him we were leaving and asked for a refund. He told me "you have unreasonable expectations". REALLY? It's not reasonable to expect that insect control is under wraps before you rent out the property? They aren't just any bugs. They are dangerous. They pick up pathogens in their travels of dumpsters, sewers, and garbage and leave bacteria, viruses etc. on your food and surfaces. They spread diseases! And they breed like rabbits. Feel free to book this place if you're okay with that and the possibility of bringing them and/or their eggs home to your place.
This duplex is small but very accurately listed, and you can’t beat the price! It’s located in a historic district so we enjoyed walks in the surrounding neighborhood. We also walked to the Fork and Ploughing-only a 5 minute walk from this house, and enjoyed an excellent meal there. I highly recommend this property!
Perfect spot for my husband and I on a trip out of town without our kids but with our fur child. Neighborhood is perfect-walkable to a few good local spots and a very quick 2-3 mile commute to downtown. Omar was quick and responsive in communication. The bed was very comfortable as well! Recommend!
Good price for dog-friendly stay in great location
The apartment was perfect for 2 people, and we also travelled with our 2 small dogs. Coffee for the Keurig was provided. King bed was comfortable, with soft cotton sheets and quilt. Nice large sofa and dining table. We stayed 2 weeks and a second set of linens was provided, including a clean quilt. There are 2 window AC units and ceiling fans that handled the 90+ July temps well. Omar was very quick to respond to messages. The neighborhood around the corner from the house was nice for walking dogs - quiet, shady, lovely homes. Recommend 2 restaurants, Fork & Plough (walk there) and Stone St wood fire Pizza (about a half mile). We were in Greenville to visit family at Bob Jones University, about a mile away. It was easy to get anywhere from this location. Groceries at Harris Teeter, Publix, Aldi's not far, as well as other restaurants and retail area.
Came back to town to visit after moving away a year and a half ago. This location was perfect and the house was great for me and my pup to spend a few days!
This was the perfect place, location, and price point for a beautiful stay in Greenville! We were super close to downtown… Just a five minute drive. The bed was very comfy! The host was great to work with and answered all my questions very promptly. We would definitely stay here again.
We enjoyed our stay here, had everything we needed. Close to downtown, and perfect space for us and our dog. Omar is extremely responsive to text messages.
The location was close to downtown and our family. We needed a place that allows pets. It was clean and roomie enough for us and our dog. The owner was quick to respond to my questions pre booking and while staying. We would stay here again.
Staying on this property was a great experience during my time in Greenville. Omar was quick to answer any questions or address any concerns that I had. The house was well stocked, and felt clean. Bonus that this property was pet friendly!
We loved our stay in Greenville. Omar was very responsive and helpful. Check in and checkout were effortless. The place was clean and just enough room for us. The bed was very comfortable. Loved having a full kitchen. We loved the location - only 1.4 miles from downtown and the riverfront park. Would definitely stay again.
Comfortable older home in a walkable historic district. Convenient location and dog friendly! Omar was quickly responsive to communications and great host.
