Adults only get away!

My husband and I and our adult children choose this getaway and it was outstanding. Quiet location in the woods with just the right amount of shade. We spent 4 entire days on the deck. Had food delivered and just relaxed. It was a needed break from the grind of daily life!!!!

Cozy and quiet

We enjoyed our stay. It was quiet and relaxing. However, we ran across several kitchen items that were put away and not clean. We tried to have a relaxing evening but the uncomfortable furniture and the fireplace not working was a disappointment. It is a beautiful house and location. We would stay again.

Loved Cozy Pines

The whole family loved Cozy Pines. Kids ages 7, 8 and 10 really enjoyed the tree house, the basketball goal and the hot tub. Adults (5) loved the rustic feel and roominess of the cabin. The decor was great. We had a really great week! Thanks to the owner and the property manager for making our vacation a treat!

Enjoyable

The property is in a quiet rural setting with woods all around. It is a cozy cabin but with plenty of room for the six of us - 3 adults and 3 children. Not far from Brown County State Park and all its offerings. The hot tub was a hit with the kids. The property is clean and communication with the host was easy. A very nice stay for our time in Brown County.

Beautiful Getaway Property

Although a bit more off the beaten path than expected, spotty cell service, & check in snafu, overall we thoroughly enjoyed it. The cabin aspect was very impressive, beds were comfortable, large eatin kitchen was great, and the kids lived the treehouse. Quite the adventure we had hoped for.

Perfect family getaway

We spent 4 nights for spring break, 4 adults and two kids. We enjoyed local attractions during the day and sitting around the hot tub or fire at the cabin in the evenings. We hiked in Brown County State Park, visited kidscommons children's museum in Columbus, and did some ziplining at eXplore Brown County, all of which were within about 20 minutes from us. The cabin was great, only thing that was tough was the basement stairs are very steep and difficult for younger or older guests

Family Getaway

Our family loved our 2-night stay here. Our daughter loved playing in the treehouse and exploring. The rooms got dark enough that it was easy for our infant son to take a nap during the day. We visited Nashville for some shopping and a meal, but really enjoyed relaxing and spending time as a family on this property.

30th birthday celebration

My cousins and I took a trip to this cabin to celebrate a couple of 30th birthdays. There were enough beds for everyone, the cabin was clean. Plenty of space for eating and game playing. There were also space heaters to help with the cold temperatures in the cabin. We all had a very good time.

Beautifully cozy

This cabin was perfect for spending time with family during the holidays. It was cozy and comfortable. The host was communicative and compassionate when an issue happened beyond her control (weather related). We even received a friendly note and goodies to enjoy for the trouble. We were able to enjoy several amenities including the game room, tree house, hot tub, and more. The surrounding area is beautiful and a perfect place for any family gathering. We would definitely book this cabin in the future!

Fun time in Brown County

The cabin and hot tub was very nice. The tree house had a lot of work to do for children to play in safely. The front door didn’t have a screen the general housekeeping and cleanliness of the room was subpar and the wooden ladder leading to bunk looked unsafe. The floor opening should be reduced to prevent falls. Not completely closed the kids had a fun time lowering and raising the container.

Family Christmas 2023

We have family that lives on Grandview Lake, and we live in Ohio. Rather than staying in a hotel, we opted to try out a VRBO this year. Cozy Pines worked out great. It was an easy 12 minute drive to our family. Our group consisted of my wife, me, and our 4 kids (7, 4, 3, and 1). My sister (26). My brother and sister-in-law (28). A total of 9 people. There was plenty of space for everyone, and the living space was big enough for all of us. The kids loved all of the toys, bunk room, treehouse, and hot tub! Before we even got home, they were asking to go back. We were glad to have stayed here rather than a hotel. It allowed us all to enjoy being together as a family.

Beautiful cabin, subpar housekeeping

We really loved the cabin and the location; however, the housekeeping was not good. There was food stuck to the kitchen cabinets. We had to re-wash many of the dishes before we could use them. The hot tub water was cloudy. The shower curtain had mildew on it. There was mouse droppings in the closet. The windows were dirty and obstructed the beautiful views. There was a nail sticking up in the floor that caught and ripped my daughter's sock. We plan to notify the property owner of these issues.

Great Get-Away Location; Lacking Thorough Cleanliness

This little cabin is located in the middle of tall trees and is about 6 miles from the main road and 12 miles from the nearest store (so bring everything you could need). The highlight was the jacuzzi tub at night. It is a climb for unpacking the car ("driveway" is slanted and there are three floors with the kitchen on the second floor). It was "surface clean" but not clean otherwise (e.g., I could see dust on the floor in non-trafficed areas; there were serious dust bunnies or other unidentified debris around some of the furniture, like the modem and the couch; every closet or cabinet held derelick items that should have been tossed or better organized; the kitchen drawers and cabinets were not organized at all and not well stocked (knives and forks were also in short supply so we had to hand wash them after each use so that we would have them for the next meal). There were also no working batteries in the flashlights (but there were some in a closet we found later). The modem, once located, had to be reset. This was a challenge as we couldn't reach the host to ask where the modem was because we had no cell service. For this price point, I expected a more organized and clean environment that was also better maintained (some areas near the bathtubs were showing signs of water damage).

Great escape for team retreat

Our team had training in Nashville and decided to stay at the Cozy Cabin to add in team building/retreat time. The cabin was beautifully decorated and comfortable. It is nestled in secluded woods but only a short drive from Nashville. We, unfortunately, didn't get to enjoy all the amenities at the cabin but we plan to return in the future.
