Set beside a peaceful oak woodland and surrounded by fields of wheat and sunflowers, L’Héritier feels like a true escape from everyday life. This recently restored home has a total of six bedrooms and an 86m² living area with Scandinavian loft-inspired décor, creating an atmosphere that’s both serene and welcoming. Its name originally came from a nickname referring to the “happy heir” of the property, a legacy passed down through the centuries. We’ve collected old photographs and blended them with our own family memories to imagine the different “Heirs” who might have lived here. Now it’s your turn to write the next chapter of this story.
Inside the main house, four bedrooms each have their own bathroom, while a spacious 86m² area is perfect for shared meals and relaxation. The fully equipped kitchen makes preparing your favorite dishes a breeze, and the living room, with its fireplace and library, invites you to unwind in complete tranquility. Slightly separate from the main gîte, an independent duplex offers two additional bedrooms, a bathroom, and a living area with a kitchenette, ensuring extra privacy or autonomy for those who prefer it.
Outdoors, you can enjoy a heated 12 × 6m swimming pool, open from late May to early October, where you can cool off under the Tarn's sun. There’s also a large meadow bordered by oaks and a pétanque court—ideal for friendly games at sunset.
If you plan to bring pets, please contact us beforehand. And if you wish, we can also arrange a pre-cooked dinner for you to heat up on the evening of your arrival (requested at least one week in advance, around €18 per person), as well as a cleaning service during your stay (€16 per hour). For more elaborate services, feel free to reach out: home catering delivery, a private chef, a fitness coach, yoga sessions, or massages can all be organized according to your preferences.
