Nice place and not bad for a short vacation. Owners are easy going and responsive. House is nice and has a dock. Neighbors are chill. Only thing that's missing is a couple more oven trays. But other than that good house.
We had a great weekend at the Lake Lanier Farmhouse. The house is very comfortable with all the modern amenities you would need. We brought our boat and parking it in the slip was super easy (also the boat ramp is very convenient). The location on Lanier is far from the main busy sections and feels more like a river. Great for spending the day on the water with little to no boat traffic even on a weekend. Great place and would definitely recommend
We visited Gainesville this week and stayed in this home. It was impeccably clean and a great space for our family and extended family that was also visiting the area. The hosts were great and accommodating in every way. I would for sure stay in this home again!
We had an amazing stay at this beautiful property celebrating my in-laws 50th wedding anniversary! We live in the area but it was so nice to feel like we had a mini vacation away. We look forward to staying here again and have recommended this property to so many friends.
Fantastic place to just get away and unwind. There yard for the kids to run around, space on the dock to hang out, and back porch to chill on in the evenings. This was a great place for our needs and made our weekend super easy.
This home was perfect for our group, a very beautiful home with equally beautiful views of the lake. Check-in and check-out were super easy and simple, and our hosts were very easy to work with and there to offer us help with anything if we needed! This property will stay on my saved board for future stays and getaways!
Beautiful home, tons of room. only issue was that there were lots of ants; might just be a concern of being near the lake/mountains but could use some support with an exterminator
House was as described and super cute and charming. Was a great spot to relax during the hustle and bustle of a family wedding weekend. We had a great stay! ❤️
We couldn’t have asked for a better rental house. Everything you would want was there and more. Even my grandchildren loved the roominess of the house and outside the fishing was great. The accommodations was great. The owner was great! Best house ever rented on the lake with gentle sloping property. Will definitely stay there again!
Stayed on Lake Lanier with family and grandkids. Very nice, clean property. Grandkids had a blast on the lake. Unique story behind this property that is inspiring. God Bless this wonderful owner!!
The place overall was fantastic. Lots of TVs beds etc. The protected cove for swimming and boating was phenomenal! Gentle slope to lake! Big backyard for kids to play. The only negatives were the street noise (nothing they can help) and lack of true living room for family gathering.
This was a wonderful weekend get away for our family to get away from the city. The house was beautiful & cozy for a family of 4. We enjoyed being able to fish and hope to have an opportunity to come back again in the summer! Thank you for sharing your home with us!
The home is adorable! The lawn and porches are perfect for hanging out with friends/family. Proximity and access to the lake is unbeatable. Thank you for letting us stay here. We did not want to leave. :-)
Owners hospitality is awesome very responsive and accommodating. We and our friends really enjoyed the property. It was restful and fun for the whole group. Deep water dock was nice to store boat and jet skis during our stay with boat ramp close by. House is nicely decorated and cozy, grille worked great and firepit was nice for smores by the water
The house is great. The lake access & dock was on a quiet cove of Lanier with very little boat activity. We were able to relax and have fun.
My only complaint would be the house from the road. The house is directly off a main road.
We stayed here during August with four adults and four kids. We were very comfortable in this modern house with very nice furnishings. The AC was excellent. The house is perfectly situated, with a huge yard leading to the lake. There is an awesome firepit in the backyard, and we roasted marshmallows and made smores, the kids loved it. We took out the paddleboat, and enjoyed the lake. Overall, it was a fantastic stay. I would mention that there are plenty of insects around, and while they didn't bother us, they might bother other people.
