Took my 93 year old 1/2 Indian friend to the Indian gathering "Keepers of the Pipe". The location of this property for our travels daily to Pipestone was perfect. The place was clean and comfortable and the neighborhood was great. Only complaint was the flies about eat us up, which I know Kendra has no control over. Would definitely recommend this property
The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The living room area was nice for sitting and visiting. The kitchen was a challenge, but that is fully disclosed in the description. We brought food for breakfast and dinner, ate lunch out. The toilet stopper in the second bathroom needs to be replaced. If we used that toilet, we had to fix the stopper. I know that Marv and Kendra will take care of that.
We did a lot of hiking at nearby state parks. Dutch Inn was perfectly located for our daily jaunts. It rained a while on Tuesday and we enjoyed the Cone Flower Boutique!
We were in the area for a wedding and the Dutch Inn met all of our needs for the time we were there. Our option was to consider two hotel rooms but this was much better as it put all of us under one roof and provided a large enough area to hang out together.
It was very clean and really met our needs. Would definitely recommend this and would stay there again!
This is a pretty cool property. It used to be a doctor's office and was converted to a house. There are some quirks - like a super small kitchen. It would have been nice to have a little more space on the shelves to prepare food. The bathroom is functional - the flooring is peeling, we had some visitors (ants) which was unexpected and not my favorite. There are 4 bedrooms which was nice for my kids to each have their own space. The internet kept falling out - which meant the tv was hit or miss. The owners live right next door which was nice. There are limited properties to rent in this area - so this was definitely functional and good for a spot to stay.
