2nd or 3rd time we have stayed here for a fishing trip and will be back. Can’t beat the location on the lake with the convenience of the Marina across the street.
The property host was so helpful in answering all of my questions regarding our stay. Check in was easy, the property was perfect and we will be back! Thank you for a great quick getaway with our kids.
Excellent property with a close proximity to the lake and boat ramp. Very comfortable accommodations with absolutely beautiful views of the lake and surrounding Ozark Mountains.
House was great. Clean, up to date amenities, and awesome porch to sit and watch the lake and marina. If bringing a boat, I do recommend arriving before dark. Driveway is a little tricky to back into in the dark.
Absolutely fantastic rental. The house was spotless and as described. Right across the street from a public boat ramp. Driveway had ample room for our truck and boat. Went in off season so not busy at all. Fairly rural community. Easy drive to Branson on a rainy afternoon. Only downside is that the backyard isn’t fully fenced in so had to keep dogs on leash so they couldn’t chase all the wildlife. Wouldn’t heat it ate to stay here again.
This was our second annual stay. The view from the deck and the indoor breakfast table is the best in the city. Very entertaining to watch the boat activity and launching. The place was clean and roomy and a huge TV for the teens and young adults and extra ones in the bedrooms. thankfully all appliances were super easy and self-explanatory including the washer and the stove and even the TV remote controls which is highly unusual.
Super clean and was really nice!! Everything we wanted lots of room and bedding! We loveddd sitting on the porch watching people and thier boats! Definitely ready to book here again!!
Bigger Better than we expected, especially the view and handy location
Fabulous home with ultra-stupendous lake view from theI(large) deck, living room and sun room (that had breakfast tables). Fun to watch the boat launch nearby. Great sunset views over the lake. Place was super clean and more spacious than we thought it would be. Huge kitchen that was easy to work with. Nice bathrooms with a separate one by front door which was handy. This was the first year we could have the nightly rent of a nearby boat stall from the Sugarloaf Boat Dock so we could easily walk to our boat in a locked compound which was a huge added plus for us. We hope to continue this as a family tradition.
Loved the property. House was very clean and orderly. Location you couldn't beat, being on the waterfront was nice. Expect there is public boat launch spot that was used frequently while we were there creating a lot of traffic and noise. If you're looking for a quiet weekend away near the lake this house would not be the place for you. Only issues I had was the owner we were in contact with stated WIFI is good through the house. It kept having to reload their TV channels so we ended up hot-spotting from our phones for better WIFI. Also our stay was Friday-Sunday. While we were out on Saturday the property owner came by without making us aware and did some things in the house. I DID NOT like that at all. I feel that if the property owner is going to come by his guest should be made aware of this. I was expecting a weekend getaway in a place that I was told the key code gets changed regularly. I was never told that the property owner could come and go as they please without making their guest aware. I think this decreases the privacy and security that comes with this place. Honestly for the price per night the items that the property manager did do should've been done prior to our arrival or after we left. We were only there for 2 nights. Also cleaning up after themselves was not perfect. The property manager came to change the refrigerators water filter and left the old one lying in the fridge (that's how we found out that someone had been in the house without us knowing). Also we found a cleaning sponge behind the bed in the master bedroom. The place was extremely clean, but lacked in a few details. I did enjoy that this place allowed dogs, no matter their size, as someone who has two big dogs this was a nice benefit. Although the yard is not completely fenced in we made it work. I would stay at this place again as long as I was guaranteed to be made aware of the property owner stopping by prior to their arrival.
Have spent many times on different VRBO properties. This was probably one of the newer and cleaner properties with beautiful views at a amazing price. The deck views and experience are hard to beat and it’s fun to watch people putting their boats in and out. Sadly we were just passing through and could t take our boat out but the lake itself looks beautiful and we saw fish jumping everywhere and nice size bass cruising the shores. The house has an awesome fishing cleaning station from the looks and parking for at least 4-5 vehicles. We made it with a large truck pulling a 26 foot trailer with two other vehicles. Nice fenced in area as well. Comfy and clean beds. Plenty of seating and beautiful recent remodel. Nice updated appliances and furniture. Huge TV. Not much more we could ask for. Just wish we were gonna be closer.
Enjoyed the house! It was beautiful and clean! Enjoyed the proximity to the water! Public ramp is right across the street so it makes for fun people watching.
