Perfect cabin getaway with excellent view and setting! Enjoy our fantastic lakefront log cabin with full amenities and water access with dock and so much more.

Recently renovated with updated kitchen, bath and furnishings will keep you super comfortable during your stay while you enjoy great fishing and recreation on a 2400 acre lake!

The cabin is a rustic tongue and groove throughout with a wrap around deck, with a working grill!

Enjoy a bonfire over looking the lake and take the paddle boat out for a stroll. Dock your boat along side your private dock, and clean all of your fish at your own cleaning station.

Cabin also has wifi, satellite tv, and playstation. If you’re working from home, you’ll be able to get stuff done from here, the connection is great!

There’s plenty to do, whether you’re ready to take on the great outdoors or cozy up and enjoy the view.

Great location

The location and house was just what we were looking for. Huge yard , lake access, clean, stocked with all kitchen needs as far as dinner wear , glassware etc. the only thing I wish is the lighting was a little better but I am hard of seeing without brighter lights. Fished off dock caught a few small pan fish . We enjoyed our stay.

Great Vacay Stay

Cabin is clean, well stocked and in a great location. Matt was extremely helpful and easy to work with. Easily sleeps 6 people. Having a 2nd bathroom and washer/dryer a big plus. Would not hesitate to stay again if we are in the area!

Another fabulous stay

This was our second time staying at this property and it delivered for our family of five again. We were able to comfortably sleep all of us in the cabin and had no issues during our stay. The cabin was clean and spacious as advertised. Having a washer/dryer on hand with 3 kids under the age of 6 was much appreciated!

Six old guys fishing trip. Was awesome place for us. Clean, comfortable and great fishing. No electricity to the dock, but Matthew allowed us to bring portable generator, it worked great. Thanks!!

Great cabin on the lake!

You must book this cabin if your looking at this area. The cabin is very clean and updated. Plenty of room for our family of six. The cabin has everything you will need. It has a great dock that we caught bass, perch and bluegill from. We will definitely be back!!

Beautiful Humingbird lake home

Beautiful setting on Big Cheek Lake! Everything from the view, the fire pit and the well stocked kitchen was outstanding! We were able to rent a pontoon which was brought right to the dock and likewise picked up the same way! Very convenient. Most definitely our first choice when we return to Birchwood area!

Vacation Accomplished

The Hummingbird Haven was extremely accommodating for our group. Spacious upstairs to gather and dine. The top feature is the lawn area to the lake. Renters would be wise to make good use of this space. Matt and Lauren were extremely accessible when minor issues arose. Their goal is to make you comfortable and well-taken care of. It was a most enjoyable week for the family.

Hummingbird Haven on Big Chetac

Spent a week at the cabin with another couple. Did not take long to settle in for a relaxing vacation as everything was as described. Nice place, quiet, private, and a beautiful view to the lake. Great fishing lake too. Highly recommend.

Great rental

We loved our stay! What a great little relaxing cabin. It was great being able to fish and come in on the dock for lunch and go back out. This cabin has everything you need. Lots of towels toliet paper, cleaners, and extra bedding. It is truly the best place we have ever rented.

We had a great stay at this Cabin. Located right on the lake. The cabin was as described and clean. We rented a boat and kept it docked right at the cabin. Had a wonderful time.

Great place for a guy or family fishing week.

nice quiet location, plenty of space for indoors and outdoors family fun. The lake is a great lake for family fishing. Quick drive to town for basic needs.
