Have you been looking for your next Isle of Palms vacation rental? Well look no further than this fantastic 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home that enjoys a central location in the quiet Beachside community, but still right in the heart of Isle of Palms near the county park, which is the only lifeguarded beach on the island! When you come to stay at this amazing property, you'll only be a short 3-5 minute walk to the beach, while also being reasonable walking distance to the local restaurants, shopping, grocery store, and more!

Pull up to this lovely home, and you'll immediately feel those southern coastal vibes, with lush landscaping and palmettos welcoming you to your vacation. Travel up to the main level and step inside to find the open concept main area, with the kitchen, dining, and living area. First, you'll come across the fully equipped kitchen, where you can make your own meals, from casual snacks like freshly cut fruit to full family-style dinners. A convenient counter window looks out to the living area, which makes it easy to either set out dishes buffet style or utilize the bar stools for a quick bite. A large refrigerator provides plenty of space, and a charming breakfast nook by the windows create a perfect place to have your morning meals.

Continue onto the dining and living area, where you'll find the dining area seats up to six. The living area offers a plush sofa, cushy chair, and a flat screen TV. The home also offers complimentary internet and a washer & dryer!

Each of the three bedrooms offers a comfortable place to rest your head at night, with a variety of convenient accommodations. The master bedroom is furnished with a king-sized bed, ensuite bathroom with double sinks and a shower-tub combo. The master also has a TV with private access to the screened in porch. The second bedroom offers a queen-size bed with TV, while the third offers two twin beds and a TV—great for groups with kids! The second and third bedrooms have smart TVs for streaming services only (no cable).

Outside, you'll find a spacious sundeck with a Gas Grill, where you can cook up meals in the ocean breeze or sit back and enjoy the sunshine with your favorite book. There are also ping pong and foosball tables in the spacious garage area! Up above off the open-air deck and living room, there is a screened-in porch furnished with a bistro set, and also a beach shower down below in the garage area for an easy rinse-off — everything you could want for a beach vacation! As an additional bonus, when you stay at 30 Beachside Dr, you get access to community amenities, such as the pool and tennis court. The community pool is not heated and is open yearly from April 1 to October 1 depending on the weather.

A few important notes to be aware: NO HOUSE PARTIES. NO SMOKING. No exceptions! There is a very strict noise ordinance policy on the island that goes into effect at 10pm on weeknights and 11pm on weekend nights. The 3 car limit is also strictly enforced. This house is a family rental and is located near year-round residents. This is not a rental home for bachelor/bachelorette events, wedding groups, youth groups, fraternities/sororities, receptions, or any other types of larger gatherings. We do NOT rent to students or anyone under the age of 25 - no exceptions - even if a parent or legally responsible adult makes the reservation. If such a group occupies or attempts to occupy the property, they will be required to immediately vacate and there will be NO refunds given.

This home is pet friendly. Dogs are considered with a $250 pet fee (per pet), applicable pet policy signed, and flea proof records received prior to arrival. Dog must be approved by Carroll Realty. Absolutely no cats or other animals are allowed. Any damages caused by the pet will be charged to the pet owner, and not paid by the pet fee.

**Please note: Fireplace is not a "working" fireplace. The flue is closed so please do not use.

This property also includes a $250 credit to order beach gear when you book a stay between 3 and 14 nights!! There are many options to choose from including bicycles, beach chairs, beach carts/wagons, coolers, umbrellas, kayaks, paddleboards, etc.! Our partnered company, VayK Gear, will contact you 45 days prior to your arrival so you can place your order and they will deliver all equipment to your rental property. ALL BED LINENS, KITCHEN TOWELS (2), BATH TOWEL SETS, & BEACH/POOL TOWELS (8) ARE PROVIDED FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE!! You will only need to bring or plan to rent beach chairs, bikes, umbrellas, etc. Also included is a "starter set" of toiletries such as toilet paper, bath & dish soaps, paper towels, etc. but please do keep in mind you will most likely need to purchase these items after your initial arrival.

Great location and service

30 beachside What’s great about about this property is the easy access to the beach and shopping/restaurants. We walked almost everywhere. There’s lots of parking and the response to a maintenance issue with wi-if was addressed quickly if not fixed. We did receive a discount as a result. We were thrilled to be able to bring our husky on the trip, and appreciate that pets were allowed. What’s not so great is the overall shabbiness of the property. Everything is old and in need of an upgrade. That said, we loved the ease of staying so close to everything! If you’re not expecting perfection, it will serve you well!

Comfortable and close to the beach

Very comfortable, and just a short, safe walk to the beach. The grocery store is also very close and we walked to it. The little community of Beachside is sweet and was very quiet over the holiday.

Needs a lot of TLC

The location was good, the neighborhood is very quiet, plenty of parking, and the grill was nice to have, plus it had a spare propane tank. But the house needs lots of repairs and updating. The kitchen was very poorly stocked. And there were NO linens for the pull out sofa bed. If you had a dog that liked to jump, it would have taken out the backyard fence in a skinny minute. I would not have actually called that a fenced in backyard.

Oasis from Covid Chaos

To summarize our stay in a single word it would be "comfortable". When you walked in it felt like someplace you wanted to stay. Not luxurious. Not rundown. Comfortable. Easy access to the beach which is a short walk away, 3 or 4 minutes. Sitting out on the deck one can hear the surf. Fenced in back yard that was great for our 2 dogs. Will definitely be coming back.

One Big Plus, One Big Negative

We really liked the location for the price. We did not have to cross any busy streets to get to the beach. One big negative is that the listing stated that there is a king bed in bedroom #1 - it's a queen. Bedroom #2 is a queen. #3 is two twins. There are three different coffee makers (we like our coffee.) One is a pod type. One is a "5" cup (really more like 2 cup.) the third was a large Mr. Coffee but with no carafe - useless. Cobwebs in the bathrooms and ground-in dirt on the floors. We had a couple of cool evenings and would have loved to use the gas fireplace - gas turned off, so it's not the feature the pictures represent. Kitchen cabs appear to be original and run down. Still, overall, we enjoyed the stay. It's a nice, quiet development with no throuh-traffic.

housekeeping and state of repairs

This was the most dissapointing rental for our family in 30 years. the house was NOT clean. the kitchen floor was filthy and the cookware was just awful. You cannot expect a repeat visit when the dishes and pots look like they were not cleaned. A kitchen cabinet door fell apart and the repairman who came just took it away and did not return. The amount of dirt under the rugs could be swept up with a trowel. I will under no circumstances recommend the rental or Rental agency to anyone. Horrible!!!!

Great beach house, family friendly.

Location was great with easy beach access. Charming and comfortable, with plenty of indoor and outdoor space. However the house needs some owner attention to the details - locks and lights that don’t work, bathrooms need a deep clean, outlet faceplate missing, no way to open large blind and AC in one of the bedrooms didn’t cool well. Master toilet didn’t flush well. Last, there were extra bed pillows but no pillow cases.

Warm and cozy home

We have stayed at 6 houses in Beachside over the years. This home is by far our favorite. Well appointed kitchen, comfortable beds, and overall cozy feel to home, not to mention it is dog friendly. We will stay here again.

Great location! Disappointed with customer service.

This house was really nice and a superb location. Just a couple minutes walk from the beach or pool, and close to lots of local restaurants. (Many of them walkable by the beach). It's only a 25 minute drive to Charleston as well and we enjoyed exploring that city as well. What was disappointing, is that on Monday morning we woke up to water all over the kitchen floor and everything was melted in the freezer. It appeared that the refrigerator was broken as well. We had lost all our groceries and had to go buy another round of food. We called the property management company and did not receive a callback until Tuesday. At that point they said they would send someone out to fix it. Fortunately, the fridge started working again on its own so we put our groceries back in, but then broke again the next morning! On Wednesday we had not heard back about getting it fixed so we called again. They said someone would be there on FRIDAY! We told them we had lost 2 loads of groceries due to the issue and they advised us to buy ice and use the cooler in the garage. Meanwhile it would be 4 days since we called that they were able to attempt to fix the issue. It truly was a wonderful vacation and the house/neighborhood/location was perfect for our family, but this was a poor experience on the service side of things.

Great location and priced perfectly!

We booked this house very last minute for an end of summer get away and loved that we were able to stay from Tuesday-Sunday rather than booking an entire week. The three bedrooms were perfect for our family and we loved the location with pool and beach access. If I had to come up with one complaint - I would say that the master bed wasn't all that comfortable - but I guess that's just a personal preference. We definitely recommend this location!

Great location and neighborhood!

I was immediately impressed with the Beachside neighborhood. All homes are well maintained, and the residents were friendly. It was an easy walk to the beach, pool, and tennis courts. I was especially relieved that the property was on the beach side of Palm Blvd. (no crossing of heavy traffic) and had its own private beach access. The inside of the house, however, had minor disappointments. The bedrooms and baths were very nice and comfortable, but the kitchen is so overloaded with dishes and other wares that there was no room to store or prepare food. There is no need for that many items for a house that only sleeps 6-8 people. Living/dining room is also cluttered with tables, magazines, and outdated/dirty furniture. I was pleased to see a fenced in yard for dogs and a wagon with beach chairs.

Loved our 1st SC visit!!

Great location and easy access to beach. Nice to have open and covered porch. Enjoyed having beginning sundries to get us started, and to have linens and towels provided-we drove 12 hours so it was nice not to have to lug that with us!! Beautiful house with open floor plan-would definitely return to the area.

Reservations made and cancelled within 24 hours will be refunded in full. After 24 hours, our cancellation policy goes into effect. Reservations cancelled 6 months prior to arrival will be refunded in full. If a reservation is cancelled less than 6 months prior to arrival, a full deposit refund less a $100.00 booking fee will be made only if the unit is re-rented for the same time and price, and at a pro-rated rate if only rented for the partial amount. The guest will be responsible for the difference in price if re-rented at a lower rate.
