Very noisy...leaf blowers, power washers, vehicle traffic/idling engines, footsteps above unit and loud voices outside door and windows. Mattress is lumpy and not even flat.

Chic Design, Funky Artistic Neighborhood... HORRIBLE MATTRESS

It’s a shame, really... Every detail of this loft, from the kitchen cabinets, to the tile and concrete counter of the bathroom, to the light fixtures and mid century furniture are so wonderfully one of a kind and then you try to fall asleep on the mattress and the dinky, flimsy mattress sinks and caves in almost to the floor. I wouldn’t stay in this loft again and would definitely not recommend staying here if you are looking for a great night sleep... Again, it’s a shame that the property manager would not upgrade this mattress, as it was first complained about in December of 2020. The most important part of any holiday home or hotel is a good nights sleep on a functional mattress.

It was very nice, comfortable and homey. In an excellent area as well!

Great experience no confusion or trouble with owners. Could get a little noisy with thin walls being on the ground floor but wasn’t too much of an issue. In the heart of Bishop arts for a great time and a great place too, whether ordering in, cooking yourself, or going out, this place was equipped for everything.

My stay at the property

My girlfriend and I celebrated New Year's here and we had a great time. The neighborhood was quiet and the property itself was exactly as listed.

Great location but unimpressive stay

I have never left a negative review for a short term rental but this was frankly not a pleasant experience. First, the positive is that the location is great! We were able to walk to dinner, the place was easy to find, and check in was easy! The place itself was pleasant enough. However, there were a few things that need attention from management. The towel rack in the bathroom was gone. The table had quite a few chipped paint places. And the fan in the bedroom didn’t work. Second, supplies were limited. Do not expect a lot of warm touches. There was shampoo and conditioner but these were large bottles of Suave. There was a tiny canister of ground coffee and some prepackaged creamers and plain sugar. Nothing else really in the kitchen. The towels were of poor quality and there were no makeup removal towels (darker towels). But the worst components were the bed and the noise. The mattress seemed soft at first but it quickly became apparent that the mattress dipped in the middle making for a very uncomfortable sleeping experience. We probably could have gotten over this if it hadn’t been for the amount of noise. I know that lower floor units have to expect a certain amount of noise from above, but these ceilings must have no insulation whatsoever as you could here ever single footstep from above. To make matters worst there was a periodic very loud thud that would literally jolt us from sleep every 20min or so. I have no idea what this noise was but it was loud! I truly do hate to leave a negative review but my husband and I rarely get a night to ourselves away from the kids and it was very disappointing to get so little sleep because of the poor mattress and noise. I cannot recommend this property.
