Was a quick getaway for the family & was looking to disconnect. We loved sitting on the dock & relaxing by the water. Gigi had everything you could possibly need (we've stayed at other VRBOs that had nothing extra). If you're looking for a cozy lake getaway - I highly recommend!
Gigi and Pam are awesome and ready to help with anything. Beautiful location on the Tennessee river. Home is very nice and the beds are comfortable. Quiet, safe neighborhood. Recommend to everyone.
Host GiGi and Pam were very sweet .. this was perfect for what we needed . Beautiful area in muscle shoals and Florence, lots of shopping eating and a 10 minute drive across the dam into Florence which was beautiful . Thx again .
This was the perfect place for the 5 ladies to meet up and spend a relaxing weekend on the river. We spent the majority of our time on the back porch and loved every minute! The owners were awesome and very easy to communicate with! Highly recommend! We will definitely be back!

We stayed at A Little piece of Heaven from May 23rd till June 6th 2023. We had a very relaxing time, we had our little Yorkie with us she made herself at home. My Grandson lives close by and he brought his little family over to swim and fish and they loved it. GiGi and Pam the owners where perfect hosts. We wouldn't hesitate on booking again in the future...Thank You so much for a wonderful stay..George and Diane also Penny🐾
Everything was amazing. We spent 2 weeks here and are sad to leave. Gigi and family were great. Very personable And accommodating. Extremely clean (and I'm extremely picky about that) and the view is incredible. A little hideaway. My husband and I are already planning a return trip. Highly recommended and will definitely be recommending Gigi's place to all of our guests who visit from out of town.

We enjoyed our time at Gigi's basement lake retreat immensely. Think old school lake house vibe in a beautiful setting. It was very clean and comfortable. There is a steep set of stairs leading down to the dock and it is well worth the effort to enjoy the view and setting on the river. Or you can just sit on the patio outside and enjoy the view from there. You may even be visited by the resident Shih Tzu or one of her buddies. I loved watching the abundant bird and fish life. Wished I had brought a fishing pole and binoculars, but was content to sit and watch all the same. Our only regret was we couldn't stay longer.

Things could be improved
Host was difficult to communicate with as did not respond to text via VRBO ap or phone number she provided once we checked in. Very noisy as rental area under main area of house. Very cold as heater did not work. Bathroom VERY small and awkward. Was clean, in a nice neighborhood and had beautiful view.
Excellent getaway. Quiet, water and books. Wat I wanted. Took my dog with me for the first time, had to leave early and take him back home. But I will definitely be back. The canine host Sophie was a doll. I loved it. Overall cute vacation spot.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was peaceful and relaxing. Wilson Lake is so beautiful. Pam & Gigi we’re great! It’s only 15 minutes from Downtown Florence so it was easy to go grab a meal or explore. We definitely plan to return.
Yes, it's a basement; but the lake access is excellent. Beautiful view with an excellent dock. Ask if Sophie the canine host is going to be there; she's the best.
It was easy. Beds super comfy. Lots of little thoughtful extras to use. Grandson loved swimming off the dock. Really nice people. Got really good exercise going up and down to boat dock. Loved the comfy chairs on the patio. We had a great time.
Checking in was easy, very clean and everything thing was there we needed. Great view and nice dock to fish off of or tie up your boat. Gigi gave us good directions to get there and was very hospitable.
Perfect fishing weekend getaway. My husband and I went to visit our daughter who is a Junior at UNA. It was a relaxing weekend of fishing. We will be back. Thank you for your hospitality.
