very nicely located for getting to several of the distilleries in the area, the bedrooms, kitchen, and living room were spacious and well furnished, the only negative was how small the bathrooms and especially the showers were.
This was our favorite place of our week long road trip. The extra top foam on the mattress was awesome! Great night sleep. Our teenage girls got their own rooms with TVs. So they both give it 5 stars. Livingroom is spacious and comfortable. My daughter loved the big comfy chair. It is right off a somewhat busy road. But we did not hear the night traffic. The property manager was great, they gave us a heads up that there was going to be high winds and provided us with links to keep an eye on the weather. That was very thoughtful. When we visit our friends again we will staying here again. Loved it!
Are stay in Shepherdsville was nice our place was fantastic. About 30 minutes from Louisville and 30 min to Bardstown. Both areas have plenty to do to keep you busy for the day. Not a lot in Shepherdsville but Cluckers and The Fish House bar and grill were both good. Plenty of Distillery’s and wineries around also
Beautiful home. Just as described in listing. Nice little welcome treat basket & well stocked kitchen.
Plenty of room for our group. Very clean house. Good location for hitting some wineries and distilleries on the bourbon trail.
Property was very clean and close to lots of activities. whether you're visiting Fort Knox, Louisville or the Bourbon Trail, you'll find this property locations works well. The check in was easy. The home was conveniently stocked with the items you'll need to enjoy your stay.
The house is a convenient drive to both Bardstown and Louisville, we visited both many times on our stay. The house itself is nicely done and the appliances, TV's, bathrooms, etc all work well. We would definitely stay here again on when we return to Kentucky.
Sheryl and I enjoyed our stay. The property was updated and very comfortable. Everything we needed was supplied. The location provided the privacy and safety we wanted during our stay in Shepherdsville. It was perfect!
This home is a nice little gem in Shepherdsville. We arrived to a well-equipped, very clean house, that had plenty of room for six adults. The home and location served as a perfect base for the week as we toured the Bourbon Trail.
Also, Trish and Rachel are wonderful hosts. Their communications are top-notch.
This home was beautiful and comfortable. Located close to Bernheim Arboretum, several wineries, and several distilleries. Midway between Louisville and Bardstown, both of which have lots to offer. Trish and Rachel were very hospitable, offering many small touch amenities that were greatly appreciated and providing very detailed suggestions for things to do during our girls weekend stay.
Great place in a nice area. Centrally located to the activities that we did. 30 minutes from Mammoth Caves and Bardstown. Clean and well stocked and a lot of room. Owners very responsive to concerns. Would highly recommend.
There’s so much room in this home for two couples. We used this as our central location for visiting the distilleries. Easy on/off the highway. The owner is great to communicate with and sweet to leave a basket of goodies.

About the host
Hosted by Rachel Green
Welcome to the area and thank you for checking out our property! My name is Rachel and I manage rental properties with my mother-in-law Trish.
I live nearby, within 10 minutes, of our Shepherdsville rentals (The Clubhouse & Cedar Forest House). My husband and I are always on the go with my 2 children (ages 10 & 8). We love to hike with our beagle Daisy, explore new places, drink bourbon and hang out at Nolin Lake. I am a CTA (Certified Tourism Ambassador) to Louisville and love to volunteer at Louisville's only non-profit cat cafe, Lucky Cat Cafe.
Trish is a Louisville native and local real estate agent. She has been a top agent in the Bluegrass for over 16 years. In her spare time she likes visit wineries, go down to Nolin Lake or hang with her 2 beautiful grandchildren.
Trish and I are always a text of phone call away. Have a question? Just ask!
Why they chose this property
We fell in love with the open space and tall ceiling of this property! This home was once the clubhouse for the local neighborhood (hence the name) so it features a great open floor plan for socializing with friends and family.
