Great location

All the big things were great. Great location for skiing, casino and close to shopping, very clean condo, communication with and responsiveness of the property owner. Only had one small problem with the wireless internet so we bought Cat 6 cables to connect directly from the router. We love Lake Tahoe, it's one of the most beautiful places in the world.

Excellent condo in Incline Village...

Darin's condo was as described in his listing. He was easy to communicate with regarding a couple of minor issues. This condo is located in very close proximity to shopping, restaurants, bars, parks, Diamond Peak ski resort, etc. Incline Village is also very easy to navigate. The Hyatt Regency is located within close walking distance across the street and has restaurants and a casino. If we ever get back to this part of the country I will definitely look into renting this condo again. Thanks Darin

Excellent location to the Hyatt High Sierra

We enjoyed our stay, the condo had lots of room. The only complaint was the soap in the kitchen was half full and had already been watered down. The batteries in the TV remote were corroded and had to be replaced, small details.

Great location - Everything was fine

Everything is as the listing appears. It is not luxurious at all, but the location is right there in incline village and you can walk to a few things. The reason I put it at three stars is because several things are not broken but almost... There are hooks barely hanging on from drywall anchors, shower heads are clogged, doors get stuck, furnace is super loud, mattresses lumpy, towels are worn out, Etc. But none of those things are actually broken and the place is clean, spacious, and convenient. So as long as that's your expectation, you'll be ... Fine.

We were here for 3 nights while on a weekend getaway trip. Overall, a really good stay. Very clean, spacious rooms. A nice sized bathroom with a tub and shower. The décor is warm and inviting. Walking distance to the private beach and to the casino.

Comfortable condo in excellent location

Location is perfect: close to the Hyatt, beach, town and other amenities. Place was a good size for us with big living space upstairs and 1 big bedroom and 2 other reasonably sized bedrooms downstairs. Condo was professionally cleaned and well taken care of. Owner is responsive and straight forward to work with. Thanks for a nice stay!

Luxury getaway

Stylish, clean, plenty of fireplaces. Floor heating so very quiet. Exceptionally good beds. Hottub! What more do you need? The AV system indeed required a M.Sc. but we finally got that working. Nice sound.

Aunt

We were at Incline for my niece's wedding, and many of the activities were at the Hyatt. The condo location was ideal! We could walk back and forth in less than 5 minutes! The condo was well appointed, bright and cheery. It was well suited for our family of three couples and a 9-year old. Several beaches are within a 5-10 minute walk, and groceries, restaurants, coffee shops, and other stores are within easy reach by foot. In spite of the convenient location, the condo is quiet. Darin was very helpful in answering questions and helping us find things we needed.

Amazing Condo with bonus location!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this North Lake Tahoe condo. The location was perfect to walk to Hyatt, beach, Casino, and restaurants. The condo had pretty much everything we needed to have a wonderful stay. We did have a bit of a lack of linen issue. When I told Darin about it he thanked me for letting him know. He will take care of it. We just used the towels we had brought with us. Darin always answered quickly when I had questions. The balcony was so relaxing to sit and enjoy the view. We brought a telescope and had a fantastic view of the moon and stars. We were sad to leave. If you're wanting the perfect condo, this is it. Thank you Darin for our amazing stay.

Enjoyed the time.

Overall enjoyed the stay. List of suggested minor changes: (1) More room fans. The bedrooms get too hot, and a standing fan in each room would really help. The one upstairs helps. (2) Improve water pressure. The water pressure in the master bedroom shower is too low, so it's hard to even get shampoo out of our hair. Not sure if you have a water "restricter" (?) on the head to save money (?), but the pressure is just too low. (3) Replace wall fixtures. The towel bar and the toilet paper bar were constantly falling out in the MBR bathroom. Suggest you re-install existing fixtures or switch to a better type. (4) Buy some luggage racks. Would help to have at least two luggage racks in each bedroom that swing open to place luggage on instead of the floor. ($25 each at Costco.) (5) Use perfume free detergent. Wife is allergic to perfumes -- had to rewash all towels before using them.

Great location, comfortable, clean condo.

My husband and I brought our daughter and teenaged granddaughter for a first-time visit to Lake Tahoe from July 6-13, 2016. I hesitate to recommend this condo too much, because I'd like it to be available for us again when we want it! But, the truth is, we loved it. The location is perfect for what we wanted - right across the street from the Action Water Sports Marina where you can rent kayaks, paddle boards, and jet skis, or go out on the Sierra Cloud for a relaxing two-hour ride around Tahoe's north shore. Remember to sign up for the boat ride to Thunderbird Lodge, where you will also tour and learn the history of the lodge; it is worth the trip! There is nearby Austin's Restaurant only a two-minute walk away, and the Hyatt's Lone Eagle Grill (more expensive), just across Lakeshore Blvd. on the lake. The Hyatt is across the street if you like gambling or want a terrific breakfast in their cafe. Be sure to enjoy an early morning or evening stroll along Lakeshore Blvd. to breathe the healthful air and enjoy the immaculate landscaping of the beautiful homes. Now, the condo: It is one of the best we've stayed in. It is very nicely decorated in both furniture and artwork, and has plenty of room. The kitchen is well stocked with what you need. In nice weather, the large deck is where you'll spend a lot of time for morning coffee, relaxing, or an evening beverage. The furniture is very comfortable, there is plenty of room for everyone, and this condo is clean! The firmness of the master bedroom mattress was mentioned in another review - yes, it's firm and very comfortable! It reminded me of the mattresses in The Grand on Mackinaw Island, MI. If this sounds like a fake review, sorry, but it's genuine. We live in Dublin, OH and have been coming to Tahoe, where our son lives, for 23 years. We recommend this condo.

Accurate Description But Just an Average Stay

This was definitely a beautiful condo, and the owner was very professional to deal with. It was spacious and had plenty of room for everyone to hang out and watch a movie in the living room, or enjoy a nice meal in the dining area. Having said that, I wanted to share some thoughts on things you should know before you stay, and some ideas that, IMHO, would make the condo more comfortable. 1. Items that would make the stay more comfortable. - Blow dryer (we had to buy one, had 4 ladies in the group). - Kleenex (my wife happened to have a cold so we bought this too since there was none at all). - Some area around the master bath sink to set stuff like a shelf or small cabinet/vanity (it's a pedestal sink with very minimal room). - The kitchen was pretty well equipped, but we couldn't find a cookie sheet (we were making garlic bread) so we had buy aluminum foil. Of course you don't realize what you need until you need it, so we had to make several trips to acquire the things above. 2. Things you should know. - The master bed is without question the hardest bed I have ever slept in. I tend to like a more firm mattress but this was REALLY hard. The bed also squeaks with any and all movement, rolling over, moving at all. I don't know if it's the frame or what, but who wants a squeaky bed while they're on vacation? Because of the laminate flooring, sounds carry very easily in this condo, so between that and a squeaky bed privacy was minimal at best. - The bathroom door in the master bedroom would not latch so there was no way to keep it closed, therefore it was always a little open. If you were in the shower and someone came into the bedroom, the door would pop open from the opening of the bedroom door. - The bunk bedroom has two lights in the ceiling and one was out, which made the room quite dark. I'm sure that will be fixed, but I'm surprised the cleaning crew didn't catch that. - Although there is "access" to the private beach, the daily charge is around $11 per person. A few miles away there is a nice public beach (Sand Harbor) which was very nice, had a minimal parking fee and lots of stuff to do and see. - I was going to do some grilling, but the grill only had open burners, no heat distribution plates or briquets, so I didn't end up using the grill since it would be like making steaks over an open propane flame. Others might not care about this, but to me seemed like something wasn't right.

Fantastic Location

The condo is ideally located right across the street from The Hyatt and the lake. We ended up renting a room at The Hyatt during our mid-July vacation so we could use its pool, gym, and have beach access. Our party of 5 adults however all slept at the condo so we could be together. The condo is nicely decorated with newer furniture and equipped with a good-sized deck with a table, chairs, and umbrella where we enjoyed most of our meals. The propane BBQ worked great, and the kitchen has everything you need. The parking situation is good. There are two levels of stairs to climb up to the kitchen from the parking lot. The garbage bin is down on the parking lot. The gas fireplace looked great, but we had no need for it. I imagine that during the winter, the fireplace would be a nice thing to use. A couple of things to pay attention to: --Plan ahead for sleeping arrangements if you require more than two full sized beds. One of the rooms has small bunkbeds and a smaller fold out bed setup for youngsters and not adults. The beds are too short for most adults to sleep in. The other beds are queen sized and very comfortable. --The condo doesn't have AC and was 95 degrees upstairs when we got there. The owner provides multiple fans which are adequate for the bedrooms at night but don't do much for the upper floor where the kitchen and great room are located. One of the fans didn't work so we moved the fans around the unit during our stay to mitigate the heat. --There is no ice maker so plan on making a few ice runs to fill coolers for the beach. There are a few cracked ice trays in the freezer which was just enough for nightly cocktails. The ice trays need to be replaced. All in all, this condo is a great setup if you have kids in particular due to the bedding situation. You can't beat the location especially if you are like me, and don't like to use the car much on vacation. If you are using public beaches, make sure to bring your beach chairs, towels, and umbrella to Tahoe with you.

We are an active family who enjoy the year round beauty of Lake Tahoe. The benefit to renting our place is that we are SO CLOSE to whatever activity you are seeking. We launch our Sea Doos in the summer, ride mountain bikes year round, and ski at Diamond Peak in the winter. We keep our condo stocked with new art work and nice furniture so it feels like home, not a trashy rental property. We encourage you to provide feedback after your stay!

Why they chose this property

Best location on the North Shore! Being on Lakeshore means easy access year round to dining, walking trails, Hyatt, even the Diamond Peak ski bus stops across the street. My home is less than one mile from the new Tahoe East Shore Bike Trail a MUST SEE!

What makes this property unique

We have an excellent 3rd story deck with views of Lakeshore Blvd and filtered views of Lake Tahoe. Our deck is unique as it is LARGE, private, and really does extend the living area during warm weather months. Enjoy!
