It was good other than a few minor things

Really should invest in a better way to heat the water i couldnt fill the tub up over the jets before tje hot water woud run out ! There were a few light's that didnt work( may have just needed new blubs ) and the tv in the small room wasnt very loud my daught couldnt here and it was turned up all the way !! Other than that great stay i gave it 3 stars cause the direction cluld ha e been better and the few minor details! But loved it

Close to Shows

Wonderful location to shows. Beautiful property. Although we chose a walk-in one level building, the parking lot was at such a steep angle it was difficult for the older guests to get to the vehicle and in and out of the vehicle. The place itself was very cozy. The carpet was very stained but we were told a Deep clean was scheduled.

Nice Cabin/Rental

Property check-in was an easy process other than the 4:00 p.m. check in time was a bit late. We had a show booked at 3:30 and called ahead and they told us we could check in by 1. When we got there they told us our room was ready but it was $80 to check in early so we refused. They did let us come back and check in at 2 for no additional cost. A lot of unnecessary back and forth. Rooms were exceptionally nice and an easy check out process.

Cabin in Branson, MO

Nice cabin, very clean and in a quiet area. Only complaint is that the beds are extremely firm, owners might want to consider putting a mattress topper on the beds. The only other complaint was the parking, the whole reason for choosing this cabin was because everything was on one level and no steps/stairs, however there was a very steep slope to get to the door and the parking closest to the cabin was not marked for the cabin which meant we had to walk up a very steep hill after finding somewhere else to park. If you are going to say the property is ADA Compliant than you should have handicap parking marked and reserved. This is not on the owner of the cabin but on the Thousand Oaks property since they manage the property around the cabins. Having handicap parking is a Federal Law and needs to be corrected asap!!!

Beautiful cabin

This property was in a perfect location and was quiet. We enjoyed our cabin and thought it was clean till we came to checkout time. I was pulling sheets off the bed and pillow cases to help save time for the house keeper. I found a dirty pair of socks in the foot end of the sheets in the bed l was sleeping in. Not my socks and now makes me wonder if the sheets were changed from the last customer. Otherwise great stay but will always double check my sheets now.

Main bathroom faucet cold did not work. Maintenance fixed the frig the first day. Willis was great. I think you should offer the pool towels at check in. Did not know there was a washer and dryer so nice surprise but I would have brought detergent. Only 2 wash cloths, would have been nice to have 4 to go with 4 towels. No dish towels provided. We loved it. These are just ways to improve it.

The original cabin that was assigned to us had very soiled and stained carpet. The carpet was soiled to the point no would walk on it with bare feet. I called the office, and we were moved to another unit which was much cleaner than the original unit. They said the original unit was scheduled to have the carpet replaced. The person I spoke to regarding this matter was very understanding and helpful.

This was our second time booking a cabin on Thousand Hills properties. We drove 4 hours and 10 minutes short of our arrival the office texts that they have been trying to get ahold of us. They never called me however they texted me through out the day before and a few times prior to our arrival to buy attraction tickets from them. I called the office and they told us they would have to relocate us to a condo because all the water pipes were frozen in the cabins. We were disappointed but still understood and went with the flow. The condo they initially put us was on the 3 story with 3 stories worth of stairs. We were never asked if we minded stairs. I have bad knees. And to top it off gave us the wrong code to the door. We tried to call to get the right code and were hung up on. No one called us back so we had to drive to the main office again. We were given a ground floor condo by the office. The parking is limited in front of the condos. The condo carpet is disgusting. Picture a carpet that every guest walks on in their shoes. Gross. There were stains every where. Condo is very outdated, the towels are very rough and feel like sandpaper. It smelled horrible. We had noisy neighbors above us. Office told us they would reimburse us the difference in price. Were not very helpful or friendly at checkout. Overall, we will NEVER stay at the condos again.

Cabin was more than we had imagined! The decorations were so nice! It was peaceful and quiet! The beds were comfortable! We will be looking into staying there again!

Cozy cabin

Cozy cabin, would be better if laminate or tile floors instead of carpet. This the many reviews i read that said dirty carpet. Also sideways hill to park, but then all of Branson is like that. Also, not Loved the fireplace

Our stay

We encountered a few issues. First we found a couple fleas in the cabin, one in my bed!! . They did not give us a key card to get into the pool so we had to walk back to our cabin and drive all of the way back to the clubhouse to get a key card to get into the pool. The gate at the pool didn’t work well. We had to try multiple times to get it to open and saw multiple other guests having the same issues. The carpet was pretty gross in the cabin but the rest of it was ok. The water definitely needed to be hotter and the jets on the tub were not strong enough at all.

Ants in kitchen need addressing Fans in bedroom clicked We felt carpet could have been cleaner Otherwise if we were to book again we would a cabin on flat land. To difficult for elderly people to park and walk up the slopes. Thanks again

Pay attention to the reviews

Terrible, Put up with ants, couldn’t leave our food on the counter. Carpet was not even vacuumed and stained in several places. Hardly any pots or pans to cook with. Not even a pitcher for tea to be made in. Had to go buy ant cartridges, cups to drink out of a tea pitcher and an iron because the one in the condo put black all over your clothes. Furniture on back deck didn’t look to be stable to sit on so no sitting out on the back deck. A review prior had listed several things but I thought they would have been taken care of but I believe they have gotten worse. This will be my last stay with you. After paying that much for what I got and not being able to use really anything but the tv I won’t be back. I will say that check in was very quick and the little gal was very nice. I’m just very disappointed in this condo/ cabin probably the worst I have stayed in.

Sisters Retreat

For years we started having a week get away with selected women we had 3 rules, 1) no men 2) no children 3) no smoking or alcohol. Through the years 1996-present these rules were broken, just a little. We have returned to Branson on Numerous occasions. This year it was myself, my daughter, my sister and my sister in law, 48-72 years young, we brought crocheting, felt cutting and sewing to be done, played lots of games, went to Queen Esther. As usual we had a Blast. Branson never fails. This cottage was peaceful and quiet, slept well, furniture was beautiful, room was plentiful. Customer service was quick in response to requests. We gave 4 stars as we feel the carpet was in need of shampooing. Thank you.

Family Getaway

This cabin worked great for our family. My wife loved the laundry and the kitchen/dining were great to save on meal costs. Nice to have 2 bathrooms with 6 people. It is modern/well-kept and very conveniently close to the Branson strip. Only complaint was it could have been a little cleaner (old food under the table) and there were not extra sheets/blankets for the pull-out sofa.
