The house was clean, easy to find, and had room for 2 cars in the driveway. It is an older house. The stairs are very steep and the bathrooms are small.
The location was good. It is a short walk away from the downtown.
Third year staying here with my college roommates. Easy checkin and host always leaves out snacks for us. Always clean and close to downtown. Thanks again!
Excellent stay, my first. VRBO experience.Sisters and our 96 yr old Dad , visiting relatives. House.

The house itself was fine. The location was minutes from most things in Winona. Unfortunately, it was also one block from several industrial sites.
It seemed clean on the surface but on the first night we were sitting at the dining room table and there was old food and someone's fingernail clippings in the decorative corners on the table. We did not feel comfortable using the table after that.
The bath towels were thin and shabby, not what we have experienced in other vacation rentals.
Since there are many options for adding usb charging outlets to decor, there really is no excuse for not having charging stations available anymore, but there were none in the house.
The front porch was very nice but the patio table and chairs is just sitting in the driveway in front of the garage.
On street parking during the week is by permit only or only for 3 hours at a time. We had 3 cars in our group and barely fit them in the driveway. This would have been a problem if we would have had larger vehicles.
It was very hot the week we were there and the ac worked very well.
The washer and dryer worked well.
The plumbing in the downstairs bathroom wasn't great. Not to be indelicate, but several flushes were needed most times. The upstairs bathroom worked well.
The eye hook lock on the upstairs bathroom left much to be desired. It didn't fully close the bathroom door.
Hot water lasted through 6 adult showers everyday but was VERY hot. Be careful with children.
We would not choose to stay at this property again.
Awesome stay. Gave a 4 on check in only because the lock box was a pain. Not bad to open but putting the key back in was a nightmare. Hope to stay there again!
A few friends and I enjoyed our stay. We felt right at home with the thoughtful cozy details that welcomed us at the house. It was very clean, in a convenient location, and it provided everything we needed.
My old college roomates and I have rented this house for the past two years and have enjoyed our stay. The host is timely with answers to questions and the check in and check out is easy. Thanks Rhonda!
Rhonda was an excellent host and responded quickly to questions.
The property was in excellent shape and we were happy to stay here. We would definitely rent again.
Thanks

About the host
Hosted by Rhonda
Your Guesthouse hosts, Adam and Rhonda were raised as farm kids in beautiful rural Winona County. Although we absolutely love to travel, our home will always be here...in the beautiful Mississippi River Valley.
Why they chose this property
When I first walked into it to view it over 10 years ago, it just felt right...I felt I was "home". I put in an offer the same day and love it as much today as I did the very first time I stepped foot in it.
