The location was beautiful along the side of a mountain. It was far enough away to enjoy nature, but close enough that we were near everywhere we wanted to go in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. The cabin had everything we needed. The shower was made from beautiful stone and there was even a gas fireplace! We really appreciated the attention to details such as having a Christmas tree set up!
Cozy one bedroom house with a pullout couch that is just a short drive away from the local entertainment. Up to date appliances/amenities and beautifully decorated. It was perfect for our family to relax in the hot tub in the evenings yet close enough if we needed to run into town for a quick bite or fun event. Easy to communicate with the owners and very friendly. Would definitely recommend!
We loved our stay at Robins Nest! We traveled from East Texas to Boston for a few days, & then spent the past week unwinding in Sevierville. Sitting on the screened in deck was relaxing & the hot tub came in clutch for our tired muscles. The bed was comfy & AC works fantastic (which is something important for us). The cabin did not disappoint & the hosts are communicative. 10/10 will be back!
We absolutely loved the cabin. The bed was very comfortable, loved the kitchen, the shower was really cool. My dog and I loved sitting on the screened in porch. It was so beautiful and peaceful. Owners were absolutely great to work with. Location was perfect close to our favorite Jeep store. Loved the paved road all the way. Very easy access to and great parking. Will definitely be back. Thank you so much for sharing such a great place.
Jordan and Katelyn were the greatest hosts we’ve ever had. They were very informative with the information provided to us prior to our arrival and left no question unanswered. They were also quickly responded when we notified them of something while we were there. Their cabin is cozy and quiet. We were 15 minutes from practically anything we wanted to do. I highly recommend booking this cabin for your getaway.
We had the perfect weekend getaway at Robin’s Nest! The cabin and the area are beautiful! Our stay was very cozy and the owners are so easy to communicate with! We’ll definitely come back sometime!
This was my first time trying a vacation rental and overall it was a very pleasant experience. My husband and I loved the hot tub (we used it several times a day) and it was nice listening to the rain sitting in the screened-in porch. I also loved the variety of coffee flavors available for the Keurig. It was nice to have an abundance of bedding for my family and the bug spray came especially in handy when a wasp found its way into the fireplace.
Some improvements I would suggest: 1. In the house manual, I wish there would have been ideas for some kid-friendly activities instead of just adult-friendly. 2. There were 4 empty wine bottles in a rack, which I didn't realize were empty until I went to reach for one with the hopes of having a glass while soaking in the hot tub after our long 9-hour drive there. It would have been nice to have a complimentary bottle.
Some things I would let future renters know: 1. The drive up to the cabin has tight twists and turns. If you've never been on mountain roads, it will definitely make you anxious. It is a bit treacherous at night. 2. Speaking of anxious, I would not recommend bringing your dog if they have separation anxiety. I left my dog alone for a few hours and the one wooden shade I didn't remember to pull up, he destroyed jumping to see out the windows for us. He also managed to get his collar stuck around one of the chords on the shade and it was dangling there when we got back. Luckily, he was able to free himself. 3. If you need to do a lot of laundry, you will only be able to fit one large item or a few small items at a time. 4. You can hear everything someone else is saying (and whispering) if you are in the bedroom and they are in the living room and vice versa, which is a good thing to remember if you want privacy or have a family full of light sleepers.
Other than that, the hosts were very good at responding to my questions and concerns in a timely fashion. They fixed the fridge that stopped working just in time for our arrival.
My experience at this awesome getaway was breathtaking and therapeutic, all wrapped in one!!!!
This cozy getaway was quiet, relaxing, clean, and a total dream! I would recommend this to anyone who needs relaxation and calmness!! It’s truly a beauty inside and out. Thank you for your hospitality !!
The cabin was just what we were looking for. Peaceful, quiet, perfect size for a couple. Was fun yo watch the squirrels and turkeys wondering thru.

My name is Jordan, my wife Kate and I recently bought (Sept. 2020) this beautiful cabin in the mountains! My wife Kate is an education assistant in the county we live in and I am a self-employed mechanic from our home after working in a shop for 12 years. We love to go traveling with our 3 daughters and go exploring wherever we go.
Why they chose this property
The cabin is in one of our favorite places to go! The great smokey mountains! We are 13 minutes from the island of Pigeon Forge! We love the peaceful serenity of the cabin. As you walk out the back door and look up all you see is mountain! It's the best thing in the world!
What makes this property unique
The cabin is located up in the mountains off Wears Valley. When you walk out the back door, all you see is the side of the mountain. Beautiful stand up stone shower. There is a hot tub for 2 on the screened in porch with a propane grill and a swing. Motion sensor lights on the back door as you enter. We also have shampoo and conditioner dispensers in the shower for your convenience.
