Welcome to the Country Nest, the ideal vacation home from which to enjoy all that Lancaster County, Pennsylvania has to offer, including nearby Bird-in-Hand, Strasburg, New Holland, Sight and Sound, the Outlets, Dutch Wonderland, Spooky Nook Sports, downtown Lancaster and more! Set in the idyllic town of Intercourse, this warm, spacious vacation rental has plenty of room for large groups and families. Find the freedom and space you need to make your get-away a great one.
You'll find all the comforts of home at the Country Nest! The fully-equipped kitchen is perfect for cooking a meal for the whole family. Complimentary coffee and tea are provided. There is a sitting room right inside the door, as well as a large living room to fit the whole group, equipped with a large TV (Netflix included )Games and puzzles are provided for a relaxing night in. The front porch is a great place to relax with a cup of joe and watch horse-and-buggies trot by. The small, private backyard allows space for outside activities, fire pit and charcoal grill available for use.

Lovely home!

The house as very clean and beautifully decorated! It had ample sleeping spaces and bathrooms for our group of 8. We had a terrific time at the property. My only issue was that the twin size beds did not have sheets on them. It was fine, we slept in top of the cover and used extra blankets. Again, great place for a girls’ getaway!

Awesome getaway!

Greatly enjoyed staying at The Nest with family and friends while enjoying a nice visit to Sight and Sound! Place was great and host was very communicative and accommodating. Highly recommended!

Great Home Away From Home!

In walking distance to town to enjoy the Amish community and village. Well equipped and comfortable home. We were attending a wedding in Leola close by.

Host was amazing! She worked with me to have a fresh flower bouquet bday surprise for someone in our group upon arrival, which was beautiful!! House is in a wonderfully convenient location. Plenty of room for the six of us. We enjoyed our stay!

This house was perfect for my friends and me during our recent visit to Sight and Sound theater. There were numerous touches that showed the owners put a lot of thought in preparing this house for guests. Hope to be able to return!

It was a very nice property

We really enjoyed staying at the country nest. The kids liked watching the horse and buggies go by and my wife and i were happy with the cleanliness of the house . Check in and checkout was easy.

Enjoyed our stay

Great vacation at the Country Nest! Super convenient to shopping and restaurants. The only downside would be the road noise, but we didn’t let that bother us. Loved seeing the Amish buggies go by. Will hopefully be back.

50 year plus anniversary visit celebration!

The Nest was perfect for our stay with four couples all celebrating more than 50 year anniversaries. The home is well appointed and the owner is very responsive to questions and requests. Location is central to all venues we had on our itinerary. We would definitely book again!
