Beautiful and large house (200 m2) in Bergen aan Zee.
This luxury holiday home is only 200 meters from the long sandy beach.
The house has everything you could wish for. It's big (4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 living rooms, 3 toilets, 3 terraces, large garden) and very comfortable and tasteful furnishings. Throughout the house is a wooden floor. It exudes a warm atmosphere and you have a fantastic and unobstructed view of the dunes and the 'Vredenskerkje'.
You are at the beach in only 2 minutes walk. Enjoy the glass of wine and an excellent meal in one of the beautiful beach pavilions. Enjoy the peace and quiet during and in the house.

Lovely spacious accommodation with pretty outdoor seating. Wonderful sandy beach nearby and sandy heath for walks. Plenty of bikes, windmills and cheese; dutch attractions much appreciated!

Fantastic Family Holiday

We three couples enjoyed a great week at this house. The kitchen was well equipped for our home-cooked meals, there was an ample supply of plates, bowls, and glasses, and we made good use of the large dining table. The living area was comfortable, large and sunny, and there were multiple areas outside the house for outside dining and reclining. The bedrooms were comfortably furnished (with mattresses of different hardness). In at least one bedroom, it was difficult to sufficiently block out the morning light. Despite its location near the road into the village, the house was relatively quiet. We were woken in the mornings by the loud calls of the sea gulls, who also targeted our cars, but this was a reminder of how close we were to the ocean. The location was great. It was only a 2 minute walk to the ocean, with its long sandy beaches, and a short walk to the fantastic seaside dune area. Bergen aan Zee is a relatively quiet location. Although it lacks a grocery store, there were several restaurants. We enjoyed the Aquarium there, and can highly recommend the local bike rental business, where we could rent excellent quality e-bikes without any fuss. This area of Holland has a lot to offer. In addition to the wonderful bike and walking paths, Alkmaar is close, and Amsterdam can be reached in an hour. The communication with the owner was excellent, and check-in and check-out very easy. We would gladly recommend this house to families or groups of couples.

Heerlijk, ruim huis op korte loopafstand van het strand.

Heerlijke plek! Fijn huis, ruime slaapkamers en mooie badkamers. Living en keuken heerlijk ruim met aangrenzend terras. Alles lekker schoon en goed verzorgd. Fijn dat in de keuken alles ruim voldoende aanwezig is aan servies/bestek en kookgerei. Horren voor de ramen zou echt fijn zijn!

War eine schöne Zeit, das Haus war schön, leider recht viel Deko in Klein-Kinder-Greif-Höhe…. Ansonsten hat alles gepasst. Probleme mit dem Objekt wurden Tagesaktuell von der Agentur gelöst und es gab noch eine kleine Aufmerksamkeit für die Umstände bei Abreise. Also Service TOP ! (Von Defekten Geräten kann sich niemand frei sprechen, irgendwann geht halt mal was kaputt)

Fijn huis vlak bij het strand

Een mooi ruim huis, wij waren met 6 volwassen en een baby en er was ruimte genoeg voor iedereen. Een grote keuken voorzien van alles wat je nodig hebt. Min punten zijn het ongemakkelijke meubilair en ook de helft van de bedden/matrassen hebben hun beste tijd gehad. Het huis ligt aan een doorgaande weg ( dat zie je niet op de foto’s), wij hadden hier geen last van maar het was vrij stil door het matige weer. De 2 buiten terrassen zijn fijn en voorzien van prettige stoelen. Inchecken verliep snel en makkelijk. Al met al een goed verblijf.

Der Wohn- und Küchentrakt ist sehr komfortabel, allerdings wäre eine genauere Beschreibung des Kücheninventars im Prospekt hilfreich, damit man weiß, was man selbst noch mitbringen sollte und was nicht. Die Außenanlagen sind für meinen Geschmack zu ungepflegt. Die Lage ist sehr gut.

Tolle Lage, tolles Haus, tolle Raumaufteilung. Waren 2 Familien mit jeweils 2 kleinen Kindern und haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. die Küche ist super ausgestattet und die Räume sehr wohnlich. Great house for larger group

We enjoyed this unique home in the dunes of Bergen aan Zee. We vacationed with our daughter and her husband and 19 month old twins and our son and his wife and 11 month old son. This spacious home never felt overcrowded. Kitchen is large but could use a little updating. Dishwasher was missing some parts so that it was difficult loading dishes. There is no microwave . The chairs around the dining room table are very uncomfortable to sit on. The bedrooms and bathrooms are wonderful and the outdoor space is great. We would definitely rent this house again. There is much to do in the area. Good restaurants and easy to get to.

Das Haus ist stilvoll, gemütlich und in seiner gesamten Ausstattung exkuisit. Wir haben eine wunderschöne Woche dort und in unserem seit vielen Jahren geliebten Bergen aan Zee verbracht und, kaum zurück, fürs nächste Jahr wieder gebucht. Dass in einer Lampe keine Birne war und die Heizung nicht so wollte wie wir es angenehm gefunden hätten ,wären die wirklich einzigen Minuspunkte. Louise

Urlaub pur

Wir konnten im August eine Woche in Helmbloem genießen. Das Haus ist perfekt ausgestattet für 8 Personen und außergewöhnlich geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Wir konnten problemlos mit mehreren Personen in der Küche kochen und haben es genossen unsere Menüs in stilvollen Schüsseln und Schalen zu servieren! Bergen ist sehr gut mit dem Rad zu erreichen und bietet gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und herrliche Cafes, ebenso Alkmar, wo man köstlichen Fisch essen und kaufen kann. Die Bisons in der Nachbarschaft sind nett anzusehn und die Dünenlandschaft ist sehr abwechslungsreich! Wir kommen wieder! Danke auch für die nette Betreuung!

Das Ferienhaus ist wunderschön, groß, komfortabel, sehr gut eingerichtet mit ausgezeichneten Betten und einem ausgefallenen Flair durch die Möblierung und die Kunstobjekte. Die Lage im Dünenengebiet und die kurzen Wege zum Strand sind ein weiteres großes Plus. Einzig die Nähe zur Hauptzufahrtsstraße zum Strand wurde durch das Geräuschaufkommen teilweise als störend empfunden. Wir als Großfamilie mit drei Generationen werden dieses Haus nicht zum letzten Mal gemietet haben.

Herrlicher Urlaub

Wir verbrachten eine wunderschöne Zeit in diesem wunderschönen Haus in Bergen aan Zee. Wir waren schon oft in Bergen aan Zee, aber dieses Haus ist absolut das schönste. Groß und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet - alles ist da was man sich im Urlaub wünscht. Danke und wir kommen wieder!

Empfehlung ohne Einschränkung!

Wir können dieses Haus nur wärmstens empfehlen! Die Räumlichkeiten sind sehr wertig eingerichtet, die Küche ist komplett (bis auf Eierbecher - und das zu Ostern😉) und die Betten wunderbar. Auch die Bäder sind funktional und in sehr guten Zustand. Leider gab es nur zwei deutsche Fernsehsender. Das Haus war perfekt gereinigt, die Betten mit angenehmer Bettwäsche bezogen. Besser geht es nicht!!! Zur Lage des Hauses: Nahe zum Strand gelegen, absolut zentral und nur wenige hundert Meter vom herrlichen Naturschutzgebiet entfernt. Die Einkaufsmöglichkeiten im Ort sind sehr beschränkt, Bergen op Zoom ist jedoch nicht weit entfernt und ein nettes kleines Städtchen.

Super - sehr zufrieden

Wir kommen seit 1967 vor Ostern regelmäßig für etwa eine Woche nach Bergen aan Zee, anfangs hatten wir eine Ferienwohnung, später immer ein Haus gemietet. Dieses Jahr waren wir zum ersten Mal im Haus Helmbloem. Es war von allen Objekten, die wir in Bergen a.Z. kennengelernt haben, mit Abstand das Beste, geschmackvoll, hochwertig eingerichtet und stilvoll durch die kolonialen Erinnerungsstücke. Sehr kultiviert. Für einen Urlaub am Meer wegen des Sandes, den man zwangsläufig vom Strand mitbringt, beinahe zu schade. Die Angaben im Online-Inserat haben übereingestimmt. Das Domizil war sauber und gepflegt. Durch Frau Zinkl und ihre Tochter fühlten wir uns jederzeit bestens betreut. Und weiterempfohlen haben wir das Haus bereits am Tag unserer Rückkehr nach Hause unseren Nachbarn. Eine Empfehlung: In den Bädern hätten wir uns mehr Abstellmöglichkeiten für Toilettenartikel etc. gewünscht. In der Küche noch eine 3.Teekanne (bei 8 Personen!!). Und für die Dünenspaziergänge die obligate Dünenkarte als Bestandteil des Hauses. FWH. Wir freuen uns schon aufs nächste Jahr im Haus Helmbloem. Nach unserer Rückkehr haben wir uns für die Woche vor Ostern 2015 das Haus schon reservieren lassen.
