Welcome to the Crane’s Nest

This beachfront property has 650 feet of private beach space. Conveniently located in Holiday Isle in the heart of Destin.

It is a low rise condominium providing a safe, comfortable and relaxing space making it an ideal vacation for families. Views of the Gulf and sand are visible at all floors of the condo.

You can enjoy your first cup of coffee as the sun rises or a glass of wine as the sun sets across the Gulf of Mexico. The main balcony over looks the beautiful pool and landscapes.
This condominium offers a gazebo with three grills. There you will find a sign up sheet to use on a first come basis. This is a gated community with ability to park up to two cars. No pets are allowed with you during your stay.

Welcome in to Cranes Nest at the Aegean

When you walk in you will have room to place your cooler, beach toys, flips flops, and towels so you can easily grab on your way out the door to the beach.

Every room in the condo will make you feel that this is your home at the beach.

The first floor provides a family room with a large sectional and TV. Enough room to space out with comfort and relaxation. Catch up on your latest tv series on our smart tv and provided cable.

The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to make a quick lunch to a sit down dinner. Enjoy a quick bite at the kitchen bar for 4 or enjoy a meal with the family at the dining table for 6.

There is a half bath on this floor as well for easy access while enjoy the tv in the family room or on your way back in from the beach.

You will find a basket of beach towels and a storage bin of toys and other beach items for you to enjoy on your stay.

Second Floor

The second floor provides two primary bedrooms.

The first en-suite provides a king sized bed decorated for a captain and first mate. There is plenty of closet space for hanging and luggage storage. Has a large window to view the Gulf of Mexico!

The second en-suite has a queen size bed and two closets to store your belongings. Wind down with a night time show in bed.

The second floor provides a washer and dryer to lighten the laundry load when returning home. There you will find a shelf of books to enjoy while your feet are in the sand.

‘Come on down under’ or up in this case to the third floor which provides two queen beds and an oversized chair/ottoman to enjoy while watching tv. This floor provides windows with breathtaking views of the Gulf of Mexico. This room also provides a full bath and an additional air conditioning unit.

If you are a golfer, bring your golf clubs to enjoy one of the many golf courses within 10 miles of us.

You are minutes away from WinnDixie and Target. There are many restaurants and fun activities within miles of the Aegean. And a 5 minute drive to the Harborwalks.

Family Vacation

Our unit was fine other than the mattress in the master bedroom should come off the risers. It was difficult to get into bed if you are of average height. The other issue was not specific to our unit. Three days we were without water, 2 days without prior notice. The 1st day, my husband had to tell them to turn the water back on to the condos! The 2nd day were notified after the water was off. The 3rd day we knew & had to go out & buy water to flush the toilets, brush our teeth, etc. Some of this work probably should have been done in the late evening/night, when people were showered, etc., for the day. We had family pictures scheduled on the beach one of the days the water was off. I was worried about everyone getting showered and ready for the picture. We realize the issue couldn’t be helped, but the timing of the repairs could have been better. None of this was at the discretion of the condo owner.

Destin Family Vacation 2023

Our stay in the Crane's Nest was the absolute best! Eva and Paul were amazing hosts! Their condo is immaculate! It was perfect for our family and our newest addition, our 7 month old grandson, Beckett! Everyone had a very comfortable place to sleep! I would highly recommend it to any and all friends considering staying at the Aegean!

Location, location, location!

My family and I stayed for a week at this property. It was EXACTLY as listed in the photos - PERFECTION. There was plenty of space, everything was clean and the kitchen was packed with items for cooking. We really liked that each room had it's own bathroom so this is great for families/couples to each have their own area outside of the common areas. I also loved that this unit has a beach view and it's literally a 3 minute walk to be on the beach. You can go back and forth all day if you like. I loved the convenience of a few hours on the beach, back to the room for lunch, then back to the beach without having to pack items back and forth or driving. Holiday Isle (this beach area) is the most gorgeous I've ever seen. You will want to stay on this beach the entire time you are there! For me, this is the most expensive vacation rental I've ever booked. I booked it for 8 people, we ended up with only 6 people and it was still worth it for me for the beach alone. The hosts were very kind and communicative. I messaged several questions and they replied very quickly. I appreciated that!

Great Location/Outdated Unit

This is the third unit we've stayed in at the Aegean, and while the space in this unit was great, it was the least updated of units we've stayed in. Everything felt like it hadn't been updated since the 1980's, from the pots and pans to the paint, to the caulking, etc. The hot water when fully turned hot barely exceeded warm, and the water heater was behind a locked door. The oven was small and took significantly longer to cook things. I will say the number of beach toys/umbrella/towels was wonderful and very helpful. The unit was clean, however there was an odor that was reminiscent of perm solution. Started out strong and towards the end of the stay it was mostly gone, but you could still smell it every time you entered the unit. Overall for the space and location, it was still a good deal.

Family Vacation

Everything was clean and tidy; great having beach towels and chairs available and the wagon was a very nice surprise! It was great for getting chairs and beach bags, etc to the beach. Beds were comfortable and the configuration of beds worked well for our group. Host responded quickly to questions prior to checking in which I appreciated. Also loved having the entrance door keypad so that no one had to worry about carrying a key. Thanks for everything!

Great Stay in Destin

Our family had a very nice experience in our condo. It had everything to accommodate us, including a baby gate which was much needed with our 16 month old granddaughter.

Destin holiday

Really enjoyed our stay. The condo is in a great location, just a few steps to the beach. Everything is very clean. Lots of room. The owners are very responsive. Definitely would recommend and will return next time in Destin.

Great Family place

Six of us stayed at the perfect place for us. The twins (boy and girl) now 13 enjoyed the top floor in their own little apartment like area with two separate beds. Two couples had plenty of room in the other two bedrooms with baths. The accommodations were comfortable and well equipped with extra beach towels, everything in the kitchen that any Master Chef would need. The only downside was the few steps up or down to get to the elevator.

Great Family Condo

We loved the property and the condo. We had two families with kids staying and the split floors allowed privacy and family time without being on top of each other. Very easy to get to the beach. Love the quiet family vibes at the Aegean!

We had a wonderful time at this property. Great location on the beach and close to access stores.

We loved the location! The only thing we were disappointed with is the lack of items like laundry soap, garbage bags, etc... the property could have been stocked a little better especially when you want us to start laundry and dishes and things before we leave. (Would be easier to do if you supplied those items to do so) But we had a great time and loved the location.

This condo offers a spacious, laid back, relaxing space to enjoy with your family and/or friends! Low rise condo! Which means it's less crowded and able to maneuver about without much foot traffic, especially during these times of minimal crowd requirements. This place offers a private beach to watch amazing sunrises/sunsets, an occasional dolphin and/or other wildlife! If you are an aviator fan, you have front row seats to watch the airplanes/helicopters fly by! Eglin Airforce Base is near by & frequently practices along the coast line!
