Dear Family and Friends:
Welcome to Homestead North in the Rangeley Lakes Region of Maine. We know that you are looking forward to a wonderful trip up into the Western Maine Mountains and we thank you for choosing to spend your vacation in our lovely home. We feel blessed to have found a home in the mountains that we can truly enjoy all year round and that we can share with you. As we are sure you are well aware, the Rangeley Lakes Region is a paradise of outdoor adventures and activities. We were introduced to Rangeley, ME in the winter of 2017, fell in love with the area and immediately bought our mountain home - Homestead North. Our showcased photo was taken at dusk looking out over Rangeley Lake during that first trip.

Please enjoy our hospitality as we hope you feel comfortable in your vacation “home-away-from-home”. We have created this special environment with love and passion for the sharing of moments with our family and friends, and for you, our guests, to do the same. We do respectfully ask you to treat our home the way that you would treat your own home and belongings as this helps us preserve the integrity of purpose of Homestead North - for the enjoyment of spending time in Nature for all of those who come.

Our dedication is to constantly strive at enhancing our home's atmosphere, which we hope will support you and your family in having the best experience possible. We have a passion for excellence, being of service to others and creating value. We truly feel that we only succeed when meeting and exceeding the expectations of our guests.

Why they chose this property

Why should you and your family choose to spend your vacation at Homestead North? One very simple reason - We are committed to creating an atmosphere where you and your family can most enjoy your time together, experiencing all that the Rangeley Lakes Region has to offer.
We would like to offer an invitation to our guests to be included as family in our home, so that we may grow a relationship that is built on service. Our dedication is to constantly strive at enhancing our home's atmosphere, which we hope will support you and your family in having the best experience possible. Examples of this will include the replacement of inoperable or outdated appliances, dishware or linens, more games to be purchased for the game room and even updates/renovations to the home. We have a passion for excellence, being of service to others and creating value.

We chose this property due to its close proximity to the town of Rangeley with its bars, restaurants and shopping, yet far enough outside of town to become completely immersed in the scenery and natural beauty of the Rangeley Lakes Region.

**ATTENTION SNOWMOBILERS: One major deciding factor in the purchase of this property was the accessibility to any of the area's snowmobile trails from our front door. In this case, you can leave on your snowmobile right from the front of the property in order to find access to the main ITS snowmobile Highways via the connector that runs across Loon Lake Road near Skyland Drive (near the Transfer Station). You can access this connector and ultimately Downtown Rangeley, or the other direction to Oquossoc/Kennebago via a short ride down to the intersection of Skyland Drive (a private and snowmobile-friendly road) and Loon Lake Road.

**WINTER GUESTS: This property is located approx 10 miles, or 20 mins, to Saddleback Mountain & Ski Resort, and approx 33 miles, or 45 mins, to Sugarloaf Mountain in the Carrabassett Valley.

*SUMMER GUESTS: You will be located and have access to ATV trail.

What makes this property unique

The first time we arrived to view Homestead North we were impressed as we pulled in the driveway, but our jaws dropped once we entered the front door and were immediately greeted with spanning views of the Rangeley Mountains. The impact of the view is supported by the amount of land that is cleared in the back with its slope running away from the back of the house to the treeline. This provides a spacious perspective of the property and its location in the valley relative to the mountains in the region. Our fondest memories have been spent enjoying the peace and serenity with views of the landscape from the comfort of our back deck or living room (if its too cold out!), making S'mores at the fire pit with family and loved ones, swinging on the two front swings with kids or just any moments spent outside in the comfort and privacy of a backyard that is cleared and spacious with AMAZING VIEWS!

***Warning: Expect to be absolutely amazed with the home, its views and the entire surrounding area. We hope that you also make Rangeley a destination that keeps you coming back year after year.

This home has so much to offer its guests. We could never have imagined the direction our lives would take upon purchasing this mountain home. We left the sunshine, beaches and hot weather of Miami Beach for the breath-taking landscapes of Rangeley and never looked back!!! We made Rangeley our permanent residence for a period of time in our lives to get involved with the community and to sincerely explore all that the region has to offer. Of course we could never have enough time to explore all of this infamous region as there is still so much nature that has been left unexplored throughout the forests and mountains of Maine.
