Quiet, peaceful country place

Other than fighting the gnats and flies inside it was good. We used the place as our staging area for our daughter's wedding at Brown County SP. The kitchen was good size for 3 of us to prep the food in the kitchen and two more at the table. The king beds for everyone was awesome and they were comfortable. Wish we'd had time to really enjoy the place more.It was convenient but Away from It All !the same time. The hot tub was enjoyable.

Race weekend in Gnaw Bone.

The size/space and location for our race event were perfect for our team! Check in was smooth and easy. We were bummed that the porches hadn’t been cleaned since the winter and we wanted to sit outside in this beautiful day. Could use another serving/salad bowl or two for our at-home dinner. Overall, a pretty nice place :)

Fine place to stay

We enjoyed the setting on a quiet country road. House was clean and kitchen was well stocked. Our kids enjoyed having a king sized bed each! The common areas were a little dated and could use some decorating.

Quiet residence. Nice sized lot, probably 2 acres. Lots of fun stuff to do, ie. Game shelf, bird feeders, large gaming/dining table, fun/excercise room in converted garage, big fire pit, hot tub, large back porch, swingbench, and sitting benches, horse shoe pits, nice round about driveway, and more. Rental agency knows theirvm properties and had great advice and service. When you rent a house for your family, the goals are good rest and good gathering places to enjoy one another's company. The huge beds were super comfy, and the large round table was useful for gaming, dining, and a centralized gathering spot for conversation. What a restful hide away from it all.

Family visit

Our stay was adequate. The house is spacious and the yard is large and good for wildlife watching. We saw deer and lots of birds. Our dog had fun running around and playing ball. The house is pretty outdated and could use some updating. The mattresses had dips in them so that you roll to the middle. The hot tub was nice. Overall the house served our needs but the drive to the rental place to get and drop off keys was inconvenient and we probably would not stay again.

House in the woods

House was clean but very dated furniture, rugs etc…. I did expect this from the pictures so not surprised. The road to house was winding and no street lights so traveling at night could be hazardous. Overall for the money spent to stay it was reasonable. This house is approx 7 miles from downtown Nashville if that matters.

Quiet setting/lovely yard

This location was perfect for what we wanted. You couldn't beat it for peace and quiet and getting away from it all. We enjoyed the fire pit and the large yard. That being said, I wasn't thrilled with having to travel the extra 20 miles round trip to pick up the key from the manager, especially when we got there and noticed a real estate key box on the door. Seems like we could have easily been given a code and not had to spend our time driving the extra miles to pick up and return the key. This is a home that could use a litlte TLC; for example, none of the doors closed or locked well except the slider and one of the windows would not stay up without being propped up. We still enjoyed our stay and none of this would keep us from staying there again!

Girls Get Away

Honestly the communication with the property manager was terrible. I had to keep calling to make sure they had my check in form that I scanned and emailed to them. I had to call to get the email for the address of the cabin. Once that was done, we got to the cabin - the GPS DOES WORK. Anyway, the cabin was dated, which is fine, but needed some TLC.The dishes were dirty (the popcorn popper still had oil in it and the cooking sheets were questionable. The plastic utensils were ruined but we managed. I am glad I brought my own griddle bc the skillets were all scratched up from metal being used on them. We did not use the game room: smelled horrible (like an old lady scent; very strong) and had huge dead spiders. The hot tub was great tho and clean. Nice that they had firewood but we did bring our own. Beds were very comfortable also. In the end, would I stay there again? Yes. But I have to say, the cleaning crew isn't really cleaning. Getting by but not really doing any nice detail (example: tables outside were very dirty and in the living room, which we didn't use, was also dirty). Just a shame. Property is an investment and should be treated as so.

Just what we needed!

We loved our stay especially the hot tub (it lights up and was very clean). Unfortunately the TV in the bedroom is satellite and we could not get it to work, this upset my husband more than me (we did not call them about it or they probably would have fixed it). There is a small smart TV in the living room that worked great. One of the coffee makers exploded all over(not sure why) but luckily there was a back up one. The grounds could use a little work. The deck was pretty dirty but it only took a few minutes to clean up. The game room is in the garage and it is really hot and crowded in there. However there are plenty of lawn games one of which is horseshoes. This was our very first VRBO stay and we tried to follow all the policies for the management company that runs the property(there is a binder) before checking out but we missed a couple of things. You cannot use the fireplace during the summer and you have to use your own firewood for the outside pit. They let you know that the GPS might not work up there and they give directions, luckily ours worked fine. The wifi works great and we had cellular service. We asked for a later checkout and they were super nice and accommodating about that. Beforehand they communicated with me about everything very nicely and thoroughly. We loved the keyless entry. We had a toddler with us so we had to do some childproofing but not a lot. Overall, we would stay here again! oursfine.fineThTheiregreat.
