About this property
Casa Grande Spacious and Private with Mexican charm and stunning views
Take a journey back in time as you enter the Casa Grande. This beautiful villa immerses you in the charm of old Mexico. As you walk through the doors you are surrounded by the grandeur of the hand crafted rock walls, and traditional brightly colored tiles.
The living room is large with glass doors opening onto a large terrace graced by a palapa covered bar. Lots of places to sit, relax, and enjoy the views. Relax and enjoy the sounds of the fountain while looking out to sea..
The rock walls extend into the dining area and create the sensation of sitting in a beautiful grotto. When illuminated with candlelight it is a magical place. There is comfortable seating for six.
Enjoy a full kitchen, with regular sized appliances. Your personal hosts are happy to do your grocery shopping prior to your arrival. Many of our guests engage the services of our amazing cook and we will gladly coordinate that for you.
There are 2 terraces. The large one spans the width of the property, and has its own bar. The space is open, and is a perfect spot to hold a cocktail party, wedding or special event. It has expansive views of Old Vallarta and the bay.
Two bedrooms, each with a king size bed, and each opening onto a terrace. Each has its own adjoining bathroom.
The property also boasts its own botanical garden, with 3 terraces, 2 waterfalls, a hot tub and bathroom, and of course spectacular views

About the host
Hosted by Susan Wiseman

I have been a host in Puerto Vallarta since 1994. I bought my property in October of 1993, with the goal of running a small hotel and arrived from Toronto Canada in February of 1994. I have never looked back. It is a wonderful business, which I never tire of. Have met amazing people who have enriched my life, and I hope we have added to their lives.
Why they chose this property
When I first arrived our neighbourhood looked very different than it does today. I was surrounded by jungle, and there was not a condominium in sight. In fact, the road was unpaid, and we had no water from the city. Over time, the neighborhood, known as Amapas, has changed dramatically, although our unobstructed view, is intact. The area is a short walk to downtown, the beaches, shops bars and restaurants, but far enough away to still be quiet and peaceful.
