We greatly appreciated this beautiful home that was so close to campus. We celebrated our youngest son's commissioning and graduation from Clemson. We also were able to continue grieving in this quiet location for our daughter that passed away November 17 unexpectedly. unexpecteunexpectedly on November 17.
We were in town for our son’s wedding at The Madren Center. Great location to serve as home base for our family. House was beautiful and set up nicely for our group, with everything we needed!
We came down to go to the Clemson vs. NC State football game. House is very close to the university. Well decorated with Clemson decor and a nice back yard!
The house and host are great and close to campus and easy to communicate with! House houses plenty of people and is what is advertised for sure with a great back yard, plenty of space for everyone and kitchen well stocked. The only negative for us was that they clearly live there more than just occasionally because there was a lot of personal stuff in the kitchen, bathrooms, etc... Otherwise - really great house in great location!
We had wonderfully relaxing stay for a Clemson home football game weekend. We drove up to a large driveway with plenty of parking for our extended family. Very private neighborhood with tree lined streets that was great for walking. The interior had lots of Clemson decorations and was very nicely decorated. The home layout allowed lots of privacy in bedrooms and two living room/family room spaces. We had a rainy weekend so didn’t enjoy the nice patio.
The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of pots, pans, and cooking supplies including spices and oils. The table easily fit six of us, and there was another built in table for two more.
We liked entering through garage with the rainy weather and there was a boot tray for our wet shoes/boots.
This home didn’t feel like a rental, but rather someone’s well kept vacation home. Owner was very responsive. We will stay here again!!!!
This house is in a nice, quiet, settled neighborhood very close to Clemson Univ. It is older but was obviously remodeled - whoever did the remodel did a super job. Quality furnishings. Great kitchen. Very comfortable floor plan for multiple guests. We had a great, memorable time! One of our best!
We loved the house and had a great weekend! Everything about the house was perfect for our weekend. Beds were comfortable, the house was very clean and well-stocked. It’s very close to campus and super convenient to get to everything. We will definitely be back!
We stayed at the house for our daughter’s graduation. The house had everything we needed and was very clean. Great location close to campus and a quiet, nice neighborhood. And lots of Clemson decor! Kristen was responsive and accommodating.
Great home within walking distance of Clemson campus and downtown.
We had a great Clemson reunion with friends. The house is comfortable, well furnished, and is decorated for Clemson fans. It's an easy walk to campus, and just over a mile to Tiger Town Tavern. We would definitely stay again on our next trip to Clemson.
We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this house. It was clean. located in. a very nice neighborhood and within walking distance to Clemson! We loved all the cute Clemson touches including a Clemson Christmas tree!
Kirsten made our trip enjoyable. Thank you for letting us stay. We hope to be back next football season.
Everything was great, the house had everything we needed. Very comfortable and loved all the Tiger themed touches. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you, Kirsten.
It was the perfect place to stay while we moved our freshman into Clemson. The house was a quiet, comfortable retreat after all of our activities. It’s close location to campus was so handy for running back and forth. We really enjoyed our stay.
Great week for the Scottsburg High School Bass Fishing team
Great location with easy access to the lake, as well as, convenience to Clemson University's James F. Martin Inn, if you have more in your party than the house will accommodate. Large backyard which will allow for parking of several trucks and boat trailers.

About the host

My husband and I met while students at Clemson University, so Clemson has a special place in our heart. Currently we live in Wake Forest, NC with our two teenage sons. We love all things Clemson and try to visit our home away from home as often as we can.
Why they chose this property
Our plan is to eventually retire to Clemson. We knew that we either wanted a home located downtown or on the lake. This was the very first home we looked at and our entire family immediately fell in love with it. We love the large lot with mature trees, as well as, the fact that the home had been completely updated and was move-in ready.
