Welcome to Better Together Lodge — a spacious, family-friendly retreat in the heart of the Smoky Mountains. With 5 bedrooms, 3 full baths, and over 3,400 sq ft of living space across three stories, our cabin is the perfect base for your next family vacation or group getaway.

Upstairs, you’ll find two cozy bedrooms and a peaceful reading nook, complete with high-speed Verizon internet for work or streaming. One bedroom has a queen bed and twin pull-out chair; the other has a full bed with a twin bunk and twin trundle — perfect for kids of all ages.

The main floor offers another comfortable bedroom (queen bed) and a full bath. Gather in the open living and dining area with soaring ceilings and a cozy wood fireplace. Our fully stocked kitchen has everything needed for big family meals, including pots, pans, ample place settings, a highchair, and a pack 'n play for little ones.

Step out to the covered back porch for a cookout on the gas grill (complimentary propane provided). Two picnic tables and plenty of comfortable chairs make outdoor dining a breeze. Watch the sunset from the rocking chairs on our large front porch overlooking mountain views.

A convenient laundry room with washer and dryer is just off the kitchen. Relax in the 5-person covered hot tub, accessible from the laundry room or back porch — the perfect way to unwind after a day on the trails.

Downstairs, two more bedrooms (each with a queen bed) and a full bath offer plenty of space to spread out, along with a sleeper sofa for additional guests. The finished basement also features a fully loaded game room with a pool table, air hockey, 4-player arcade machine, foosball, Roku TV, DVDs, puzzles, board games, and a wooden train set — entertainment for all ages!

Escape to our rare, fenced-in backyard — a peaceful retreat perfect for families. Accessible from the downstairs level, it’s a safe space for outdoor games, relaxation, or simply enjoying the fresh mountain air. Nap in the hammock, sip a local craft beer at the covered outdoor bar, or gather around the stone fire pit for s'mores and stories. The backyard also features a picnic table, decorative lighting, and stargazing opportunities when the lights go out.

Our cabin’s prime location offers quick access to Highways 28 and 74, Bryson City, Cherokee, and top attractions like Fontana Lake, Tsali and Fire Mountain Trails, the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad, and Nantahala Outdoor Center for rafting and ziplining. Motorcycle enthusiasts can explore the famous Tail of the Dragon and Cherohala Skyway, both easily reachable.

Adventure awaits just minutes from our doorstep, including world-class mountain biking, hiking around Fontana Lake, and access points to the Appalachian Trail.

The well-maintained gravel mountain road to our cabin is safe and accessible year-round — no 4x4 required. Electric vehicle owners can easily recharge using our Level 2 NEMA 14-50 outlet or J1772 cord. Parking accommodates up to 4 large SUVs or 6 smaller vehicles comfortably, perfect for families or groups traveling together.
