Recently renovated, this delightful house has an amazing private dock overlooking Lake Hartwell. It’s a perfect place to enjoy a sunrise coffee or a fun day of swimming and boating with family. It’s close to town as well as a public boat ramp (1/2 mile away). It has on open living/kitchen area that is great to watch the game and enjoy snacks. This house has a view of the lake from back deck and boat dock is located across the street. (In front of house)

Upon arrival, you will find the clean bed linens folded and neatly stacked on each bed.

Perfect Lake Get Away

The house was in a great location with an amazing boat dock and floating deck. We had an amazing time out on the lake all day and enjoyed a comfortable stay in the evenings.

Property search

The property is nicely kept. It had a good view from the back deck and a great view from the boat dock. There is a great peninsula with several beaches less than a mile down the road. We liked the location so much that we bought property around the corner.

Very nice lake property

Cute house, perfect for our group of four adults. Very convenient for the race we were doing at the dam on Sat. morning. Things were well kept and we had everything we needed. Loved having the paved path to the dock. I would suggest a little WD-40 on the main bedroom bathroom door, hard to slip in there in the night without making noise. The neighbor dogs were friendly and welcoming. Roy even came back by the next day to check on us, that or he was checking out what was for breakfast.

We enjoyed our stay here, very clean well kept property! Great area! Easy to find! Boat dock has amazing views had it been warmer we could have stayed out there all day! We will be planning another trip! Excellent homeowners and easy to communicate with!

Great for any type of trip!

We loved staying here. My husband and I were here for two days and two nights just the two of us, and then our 3 year old and seven year old joined us for one day and one night. I can honestly say it was ideal for both occasions. The house (beds and sofa especially) was great for relaxing on the rainy day that we had, and the dock and kayaks were great for adults only and kids. The side dock with the fire pit was great for sunning and is in directly sunlight until almost sunset. I chose this place because several other reviews said that the dock being across the street was no big deal, and it wasn't. I actually preferred it because it made it very secluded and quiet. The kids were safe the entire time and loved the tandem kayak. I'm a runner (slow jogger), and I thoroughly enjoyed several long runs in the area. Elrod Ferry recreation is .67 miles down the road and is scenic and safe. I found the whole area very safe (sometimes more rural places scare me because of dogs, etc). We did Walmart pickup as Walmart is just down the road and were able to cook everything at the house. Downtown Hartwell has a few restaurants and is super close.

Perfect weekend getaway on the lake

We wanted to get away for the weekend and enjoy a full day on the lake. This property was perfect for what we needed. Right on the water and easy access to everything. We were definitely comfortable and we enjoyed the stay.

A Property Worth Booking

The property was perfect for our visit to Lake Hartwell. The property was pleasantly beyond my expectations. The location is in a quiet area. The view off the back deck makes for a is totally relaxing experience. The dock across the road is a perfect setup to enjoy the water. The boat launch is conveniently located down the road with ample parking. The home is in great condition and very clean. Nice open family room and kitchen area to relax. The hosts do a great job communicating and providing everything needed. I would not hesitate to book another stay at this property.

Relaxing stay in comfortable / peaceful locale

Our group of 5 friends had a great stay at this home! This house was roomy, comfortable, and well equipped. Clean and recently updated on the inside. Plenty of hot water for showers, etc. King, queen, and bunk beds in the 3 bedrooms. View of lake from back patio and awesome fishing / swimming dock just a short stroll across from house. Cove setting was extremely peaceful and kayaks were tons of fun. Host very responsive! Highly recommend.

Great getaway

We had such a great time! The house is beautifully decorated and clean. The kitchen is very well stocked, we had everything we needed and more! The kitchen had nice/clean appliances as well (the kids and my husband were fascinated by the microwave 😂) There were a bunch of different games available to play with the family. We were impressed by the property to say the least (definitely one of the top properties we’ve stayed in for the price) The water is breath taking, so clean and there was no boat traffic in the cove so the kids were able to swim. The walk to the dock wasn’t bad at all either. I was nervous about the distance and having a 2 year old but it worked out just fine and the paved walkway is a great idea. We would love to come back and stay in the future!

Quick drive to downtown Hartwell and docks

The house was exceptionally clean which we appreciated. It is a quick 3 minute drive to downtown Hartwell for groceries and restaurants. I wish both bathrooms had additional hooks and or a drying clothes line installed in the shower for wet lake clothes and towels and closets all had a few hangers as well. We brought our beach buggy to carry towels, snacks down to the dock since the lake access is down the driveway, across the street, and down the paved path.

Kitchen set up had everything we needed. Beds were very comfortable. Caught fish. Phenomenal sunrises. Accessible sidewalk to the dock was nice to have. Very quiet and close to Walmart.

State Golf

We stayed during the state golf tournament. Place was easy access to Lake Hartwell and beautiful views. Was roomy for a family of 4 and 2 teammates. We really enjoyed our stay.

Why they chose this property

We have two mountain properties in Clayton and Blairsville. We wanted to have a home on the lake for our 4 daughters to enCou.v The home was in bad shape and we still are in process of doing improvements to the outside and hall bath.

What makes this property unique

Home has water in front and back of house. Deep water dock with heavy Adirondack chairs and a large swim dock. Corp park at end of road with boat ramp, beaches, and picnic area.
