Property was exactly as described. Owner was very accommodating when our luggage was delayed. He truly cared about us and checked in with us. We were so close to the beach, pool and restaurants.
Our family of five absolutely loved our stay! The balcony was key, the view stunning and the amenities! The architecture of the condo was just lovely, super clean and new kitchen.Extremely close walk to beach bar that serves food, Caribbean Seafood Restaurant, pool with hot tub and pool bar. Dinner at Caribbean Seafood was delicious! Highly recommend this property to families or adult couples!
Incredible location right on the water. Literally steps to the beach, two restaurants and minutes to Red Hook. All bedrooms are comfortable size, each with a suite so great for privacy. Comfortable neighborhood, so no loud parties. Pool was a hit with our youngest. Two restaurants we all enjoyed- Sangrias is causual and Caribbean Fish Market is more fine dining. Kitchen on property has everything you need- we made two meals in condo. Peaceful, relaxing and the views from condo patio just stellar! Clean, stocked with extra beach towels which is thoughtful and handy. Overall, amazing experience!
Woke up each morning before or at 7am by the restaurant downstairs getting what sounded like ice or the grounds crew blowing the leaves. Parking is tight! The window above the office in the main room lets a ton of light in from the stairway being lit up. The place itself was sufficiently stocked. A little dated but they did just remodel the kitchen.Very close to the beach and restaurants. Close to Red Hook.Plenty of space and a safe place.
We had a wonderful week at Cowpet Bay! Location was perfect , beach was amazing, private and quiet. Just a short drive to Red Hook and ferry to Saint John. Highly recommend!
We had a wonderful time at Jeff’s condo, it has all the amenities for a beach day and more…and the location was right next to the beach with 2 great restaurants just steps away. Jeff was very helpful with all questions and would definitely stay again.
This is a fabulous condo directly on the beach. Each of the three bedrooms has its own en suite bathroom, which makes a great for family or multiple couples. The condo is nicely furnished with everything you need in the kitchen and as a nice surprise beach toys in the laundry room
The host is amazingly responsive to both phone calls and text and couldn’t have been better to work with.
Jeffrey was responsive, the place is exactly what we needed for our family. The location is the best part and having 2 restaurants within walking distance is a bonus. Definitely will keep Jeffrey’s rental in mind for future trip to St Thomas.
We had a wonderful time on our adventure and St Thomas. This condo was a perfect location. Had everything we needed! And the owner was amazing. He answered all our questions in a timely manner and helped us find everything we needed to make our trip a success. I highly recommend this condo for anyone!

Stunning views, quiet beach, and antiquated charm. The good the bad, the ugly. Owner call 2x per day
The taxi from the airport was about a 35 minute pleasant trip and cost $125 (they charge per person and for infants). Check-in was very easy and the keys were easily available. We were pleasantly surprised to find beach towels, coolers, snorkel gear, beach chairs, sunscreen, paper towels, toilet paper, laundry pods and cleaning supplies.
The condo has amazing views of the bay and you can feel the salty breeze as soon as you open the sliding glass doors. It was a short walk down a few small flights of stairs to the beach, pool and two restaurants. The beach restaurant food was surprisingly good for bar food (average $30 for a full meal with tip per person). The higher end restaurant was absolutely delicious but way overpriced. $540 and $750 for each time we went for a three course meal with no alcohol.
The condo itself has an antiquated presence, but is as pictured in the property profile (mostly). The kitchen counter was literally falling out of the wall, the shower knob was broken and needed a wrench to turn from bath to shower mode. (Thankfully found a wrench because i sliced my finger open the first time i went to turn it). The ac in the main bedroom was leaking water into the office below( had to shut) and the crib that was promised to be there (with mattress) was missing the main insert to make it usable. The beds themselves were very uncomfortable. At 6 months pregnant, a comfortable bed would have been appreciated. I ended up finding an air mattress.

Great owner and location, needs updates
Great location on quiet beach with free chairs. Nice balcony with ocean view. Quiet stay during first week of July; condo in need of reno. Everything is old, I would guess the last reno was 30-40 years ago. Furniture, fixtures, ceiling fans, wall hangings are old, nothing is modern. beds seem old. Furniture is all rattan/woven, so hard to clean because dust is settled in the crevices. Place smells mildewy or musty. Everything was surface clean, and the place is in need of a deep clean, like corners, baseboards, and under furniture needs a good clean and disinfect. The floor is brick tile and grout needs to be cleaned, grout in the bathroom tile is worn and cracked in places and in need of attention, bathroom faucet fixtures had mineral deposits and buildup that need to be scrubbed, the whole place could use a reno. The kitchen counter was falling off, and there were some bugs in the kitchen so we couldn’t store any food there, not even unopened boxes of crackers. The owner was great. Super responsive, very fair when he learned that some things weren’t working or up to snuff and he compensated us fairly when he found things weren’t perfect. He obviously cares about his renters and was wonderful. It sounds like a kitchen reno is in the near future, he was surprised about bugs, I’m guessing he’ll fix it. Needing updating isn't a bad thing, you should just understand what you're renting. reading the description and reviews didn't make that clear. I would rate 3.5 stars if I could
A few friends and family stayed here to celebrate a milestone birthday and we had the best time. 3 bed/3 bath was perfect for privacy. Enjoyed coffee on the balcony every morning overlooking the blue sea. Cowpet had an amazing beach with easy access to water, restaurants and bars. I recommend staying here!
The location of this property is amazing to the beach and restaurants on the beach. Being able to use the pool was also a bonus. Having three bedrooms and three baths made this the best place for our family.
Condo was excellent- great to have 3 large bedrooms, each with own bath. Kitchen small but well stocked with all essentials. Extra bonus of finding beach,snorkel and picnic gear there to help exploring all the great beaches. Location excellent. Host extremely responsive. Would definitely stay again
This condo works perfectly for three adult couples sharing space together. Each with a private bed and bath, plus space for more if needed. Location is wonderful. Hope to return soon!
Everything needed was there. Snorkeling stuff, beach towels, cooler, etc. Kitchen fully stocked just like home. Having an end unit was very nice too. Overall very nice experience.
I Iive and work in central New Jersey in property management and the health club business . I am an avid gardener as well as fitness enthusiasts ........biking, swimming and yoga on a daily basis . I have a golden retriever BEAR as well as a chihuahua named TREVOR. My life is blessed with many longtime friends and a life partner of 17 years.
