Welcome to your Woodstock Lake Allatoona Cottage!

May we introduce ourselves? We, Peter and June, live next door to the cottage and spend our retirement days enjoying nature right here! We are grateful that you’ve chosen our slice of paradise to spend time relaxing, reconnecting and rejuvenating.

PLEASE NOTE: the Corp of Engineers regulates the lake levels during the winter. Typically between mid September -mid March boating and swimming aren’t possible.

Now onto the good part:

You’ll have a hard time choosing between taking one of the hiking trails right in your backyard or taking a short drive to Red Top Mountain State Park. The deer, osprey, eagles and owls may greet you every day while you’re curled up on the porch. You, your family and pups can watch your favorite show on the screened in porch while wrapped up in a fluffy blanket drinking your favorite beverage. Board games, books, corn hole, croquet are ready to go.

A portable crib/ sheets and high chair are available upon request.

The Cottage is perfect for gourmet dinners, hot dogs on the grill or roasted at the fire pit!We’ve paid great attention to detail and believe you’ll find everything you need. Just bring your toothbrush.

You have a fully equipped kitchen including a professional Wolf Stove, wet bar with dedicated ice machine, Mr Coffee machine ( filters provided) and all new appliances. The power recliner, King size Select Comfort bed, porch swing and outdoor TV ensure you are relaxed inside and out! The fire pit, gas grill and cornhole boards=FUN!!! Firewood is included.

The custom cabinetry holds all manner of glassware and dinnerware for your Happy Hour and picnic.

Bath towels fill the antique linen cabinet. Shampoos and bath soap are ready for you. A fully equipped laundry room is available.

Because our neighborhood is a quiet place we require our guests respect the 10 pm-8am quiet time.

We love dogs! Please let us know if you are bringing a pup(s) as we have a welcome gift for them. Please note there is a $125 pet fee for all pets.

Important: No Smoking on the premises (inside or out), no parties or events. No more than 6 people unless prior approval is given.

A Delightful Time

Everything was perfect! After we arrived, I kept pinching myself that I had actually rented this place. We are in our 60's and our two kids and their significant others are in their 30's and 40's. We all had a blast playing in the lake, and relaxing on the dock, on the screened-in porch, and in the living room. There was plenty of space for everyone to do their own thing, or do things together. The weather was great. The hosts were very responsive to our questions, the kitchen was marvelous, and the area was very calm and quiet. It was all as advertised and we would return in a heartbeat!

Lake getaway during baseball tournament

This was a great rental for our week long stay while our twin boys played in a baseball tournament at the LakePoint baseball complex. We enjoyed the easy access to the lake, the water toys provided (kayaks, paddleboard, & canoe), fishing, hiking, relaxing in the screened-in porch, and watching the wildlife. The house was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook and eat-in for our family of 6. Beautiful area! Would definitely recommend to others.

Heacker Thanksgiving 23

Belated family Thanksgiving Celebration with 3 generations. Fabulous views and venue and my Chef husband had everything he needed for a great Holiday meal. The firepit was so nice with deer grazing beside us. Will return when weather allows us to enjoy the lake and screened porch more.

Long weekend on the lake

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely property. The kitchen was amazing! Stocked with anything you need to create a gourmet meal! We loved spending time on the screened in porch with morning coffee and for dinner. The lake is beautiful.

Slice of Lake Heaven

Nice open floor plan. Comfortable beds with extra covers for chilly nights. Large back screen porch with a great view of the water. Big nice bath tub and shower. Anything and everything you might need to cook and serve with. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. Having access to a canoe and paddle boards was an extra bonus for the kids. We saw deer every day and took advantage of the hiking trails right outside our door in the beautiful fall (Oct.) weather. Thanks for sharing this amazing property!

Up at the lake

Beautiful, quiet cove and just what we wanted. Woke up to deer in back yard every day and fish jumping in the lake. Sat on the dock with our coffee and watched the sun rise. The house had EVERYTHING you would ever need. Owners do a fabulous job maintaining and cover every detail.

Well appointed cozy home

We loved are time in this home. Everything you need from fishing poles to garbage bags to spices and all the cookware you could want. Dock is a little hard to get in and out of if you have a boat. Owner will help you though if needed.

Best rental ever!!!

We absolutely LOVE this house. The owners are amazing and very quick to respond. June even gave me some tomatoes from her garden. They have everything you could possibly need from casserole dishes to a tackle box. I have never been to a house that so many items you might need. Everything in the house is well kept and comfortable. This was our second annual visit and we will be back next year!

This is such a wonderful house! They have everything you will need, whether it is to sit around and relax, or get out on the lake for some fun and adventure. The hosts are always available for questions or help. This was our favorite stay to date, and we hope to be back again!!

Perfect Lake House

We keep out boat at Little River Marina nearby the rental. We try to rent a house for a week each year & this is by far the best we have found! The kitchen has absolutely everything you need & the screened porch is perfect for meals. My boys 10 & 14 loved the kayaks & SUP and the cove was very quiet until the weekend. We made smores in the fire pit & loved seeing deer every day. Owners June & Peter live next door and are super friendly & responsive but we still had our privacy too. This will be out rental going forward for sure!!

PERFECT family get-a-way home!!

Wow, wow, wow!!! We were in town for a Ninja Warrior competition for our grandsons. We were looking for an active, yet relaxing property to enjoy when we were not at the competition. WE FOUND IT! We were welcomed with fresh flowers in the kitchen and a special sign that welcomed our group. We were able to fish, kayak , swim, rent a boat, have the BEST fire pits, hike and enjoy nature and the deer. The house was fully stocked and in great shape! June was AMAZING to work with, and answered any questions we had quickly. We would HIGHLY recommend booking this property. Our twins grandson's are 10 years old, our children are in their late 30's and early 40's and my husband and I are in our 60's. The memories made this past weekend were priceless!!

Spring break weekend

We stayed here for a quick spring break weekend. What a beautiful property! The house is warm and cozy and created the perfect place for us to use as a landing pad as we visited family. The owners were very kind and gave quick responses. We would definitely stay here again.

Guys Trip

My husband and sons-in-laws really enjoyed their stay while attending a Barbeque camp in nearby Marietta. The home was a perfect lakeside retreat with plenty of space for them to relax and enjoy time together. The hosts were so kind and went out of their way to make the guys feel welcome. We would highly recommend and hope to come back again some time in the near future!

Excellent stay

The house has an excellent layout for additional guests. Large Master with bath on one side, two bedrooms, bath with double head shower on opposite side. Owners are nearby and very accommodating. Large porch front and back are great places to sit outside. Lots of good restaurants in nearby fun town Woodstock. Red Top Mountain has lots of good hiking trails with different lengths. We did the 5.5 with lots of lake views and a 1.5. Also did the trails directly out behind the house. Lots of dear around. We would highly recommend this place. Lots of nice extra amenities.
