Great Host

Idyllic summer cottage

We had the most amazing stay at Chantelle's cottage! It was a true home away from home. Chantelle's hospitality was unparalleled – she was incredibly thoughtful and considerate, making sure every detail was perfect for our comfort. The cottage itself was charming, beautifully decorated, and fully equipped with everything we needed. The property's serene surroundings added to the experience, making it a relaxing lakeside getaway. I can't thank Chantelle enough for her warm hospitality. This VRBO rental exceeded all expectations and we can't wait to return for another memorable stay!

Cozy Salt Spring Island Cottage

Great location about 5KM out from the center of Ganges. Very comfortable bed w/ large kitchen, living room, and bathroom. Separate cottage set off from the main house. Lake access with picnic area. We stayed here for 4 nights during wonderful August weather. Would definitely stay here again.

Clean and Very Comfortable Cottage

My wife, daughter and I stayed on the property twice during our three week visit to Salt Spring Island. We appreciated the cleanliness and overall comfort of the cottage, as well as its proximity to the lake. Our host was always responsive and welcoming. While the road traffic was noticeable during the day -- as the cottage is near one of the main thoroughfares of Salt Spring Island -- the traffic quiets down at night, and its very peaceful. Overall, I'd highly recommend booking this cottage.

A complete gem!

We have stayed at this property two years in a row now. Simply one of the best properties out there. The cottage you have yourself and is perfect for a couple. The interior is very new and incredibly tasteful. The property is on St. Mary's lake. There is access to the dock which we did use. It is literally step off the dock into 15 feet of water. What a great location for the dock and setup to enjoy the lake. I managed to catch some very decent small mouth bass and perch. A real bonus!! We cannot wait until our next visit. This is a complete gem of a place.

Lovely cottage by the lake

Cozy stylish cottage close to town and activities. Huge grounds with easy lake access. Nice kitchen with high end appliances. Very quiet and private.

Cozy and peaceful

This was our second stay here and we really enjoyed it again. It is the ideal fit for us as we spend most days out exploring the island then come back, make dinner and settle in for a relaxing evening. Chantelle was very quick to respond to my questions and resolve small issues.

Beautiful place!

Had difficulty getting in front door - I think the coder may need a new battery. Heavenly lake to swim in. There wasn't a reading light by the bed so I took the one from upstairs down. Don't recommend the expense of it for one person. Alas my friend had to cancel at last minute. Thank you!

A beautiful cottage

We stayed one night at the cottage on our wedding night before returning to Victoria. It was the perfect space. The cottage is beautifully decorated and Chantelle is a wonderful host. We were welcomed on our arrival and surprised with a basket of treats and a bottle of champagne. It was a fantastic place to end our perfect day.

Lovely cottage with great location

Quince cottage had all the comforts of home with the charm of a lakeside getaway. It had all the amenities we needed and the in-suite washer and dryer was a nice plus. The bed and couch were very comfortable, the place was extremely clean, and Chantelle was a wonderfully gracious host so we couldn’t ask for more and we hope to stay again!

Lakeside Family Reunion

Property was very nice and decorated beautifully. We choose the cottage primarily because of its location so close to nearby family cabin. The privacy of the property is top rate and the kitchen was well equipped although we used it little. Only negative was the TV was a riddle we could never solve but we missed it little. Having some written instructions will solve this minor problem. Probably the best compliment I can give is that we plan on returning to the cottage when we return to Salt Spring.

Cozy cottage in a beautiful spot

My 12 year old daughter and I stayed for three nights while visiting family. The cottage is tastefully decorated and well-equipped with everything you would possibly need for a comfortable stay - kitchen with high end appliances, large bathroom with laundry, comfy bed and nice patio area with BBQ for outdoor eating. It’s a short walk down to the lake for swimming from the dock on the property. Set back from the main house for privacy, the cottage has a lovely view over the large property towards the lake. We look forward to staying again!
