The apartment was in good condition and was well situated near the Pantheon. We loved the proximity to the Latin Quarter and the Jardin du Luxembourg, as well as the quick uber/taxi rides across the Seine to Marais and to the Eiffel Tower area. There are two Metro stops within a 5-7 minute walk as well. The beds - a split king and a folding queen - were quite comfortable and the blankets were warm. The patio facing the Church of Saint-Étienne-du-Mont was lovely and secluded... in warmer, drier weather it would be a wonderful spot to enjoy a coffee and croissant.
The owner provided minimal paper products and we were thankful that there is a Frangiprix 400m away on Rue de la Montagne Ste Genevieve. The area, which is close to the Sorbonne and other universities, is filled with bars and restaurants that can get noisy late at night.
Our check-in process was complicated because the first key nest location was closed and we had to walk about half a mile with our luggage to get to the other location. Thankfully, it was open. The apartment building is undergoing construction (as of December 2023) and we were very concerned about using the stairs in the event the elevator was not functional because they were dusty and covered with plastic (fortunately, the elevator worked the entire time).
Overall, despite a challenging start, we enjoyed our stay in this apartment and loved the location.
