Picked this property because of its location and the cabin looks and feels like an authentic log cabin. The woodwork is great. Would definitely stay here again.

Dancing Bear
The beds did not feel like the sheets were washed. We swept the floor when we got there and
We could not have stayed in a better location. The cabin was beautiful and had amazing views. Loved the large dining table so that we could all eat together. The beds were comfy and I liked the layout of the cabin. It was very cozy. Communication was so easy with Anita.
Our stay was great! The cabin could use a more thorough spring cleaning and the sliding doors downstairs and french door to main deck could use the handles/locks replaced but the property overall was really nice and true to pictures on the site. Gorgeous views. Owner was pleasant and easy to deal with and location was perfect for our hiking adventures. Will definitely book again when we come back to the area!
Beautiful home in the middle of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Beautiful views. Felt secluded on top a mountain, which made it feel very relaxing. Great area for kids in basement area with pool table. Only drawback is grill outside is old and did not work.
Friends and family trip to the mountains. Everyone was absolutely elated with this cabin!! Beautiful!! And the view was amazing as well!! Thank you to our gracious host Anita!! Very informative, available and kept check on us with the wintry weather coming in!! Will definitely stay here again!!
Perfect location between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Amazing roads to property. House is well appointed and scenic views from every window. Looking forward to coming back for another visit!
We loved our stay at the Dancing Bear Retreat! The cabin was absolutely gorgeous and the view was amazing! There was plenty of space for our party of 8. Communication with the property manager was quick and easy if there were any questions or concerns. Our family will definitely be staying here again!
We chose this property because of it's views, seclusion, and location. It did not disappoint! I had to contact the manager a couple of times for minor things and she was quick to respond each time.
This property is absolutely heavenly. Dancing Bear is gorgeous, quiet, peaceful, relaxing and worth every penny. Communication was easy and perfect with property manager. The home is so beautifully made then you get the view on top of it. 100% would return to Dancing Bear retreat!
The entire process and stay was effortless and amazing. Most rental properties it takes a day to adjust to the idiosyncrasies of a large space. The attention to detail provided with notes around the property were spot on and useful. Anita, the host was attentive and very helpful prior to and throughout our stay with communication. The drive for a mountain retreat was not too crazy and the cabin was very comfortable. The location was secluded enough with easy access to both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. I would highly recommend this property for a family or friend group. Just save space for us on our next visit!
Place was very nice. Awesome view!! We even had a black bear come on the deck. Located very nice between pigeon forge and Gatlinburg. The only thing is after 2 days the hot tub had a musty smell to it and we called and she said its because we didnt shower before hand. Which we did. She would not come out and check it. I own a pool and spa and all it needed was a chemical check to make sure it was balenced right. If they would of made that corrected to would of been 5 out of 5 stars.
Thanks for sharing the lovley cabin. I would recommend it to anyone.
My husband and I along with our grandchildren, stayed at this beautiful house from July 22-29th. It was everything that we dreamed of and more!! The house was exactly as pictured online. Anita was an absolute wonderful host! We texted back and forth several times just to share pictures of the bears that visited the property throughout the stay! Our kids loved coming back to the home everyday after our many adventures! It truly felt like home. If you are looking for peace and quiet in the beautiful Smokie Mountains.....this is the place to stay. I looked forward to the peace and quiet in the mornings on the deck having coffee with my husband and overlooking the mountains. The house is in a secluded area between Pigeon-Forge and Gaitlinburg, which made it nice. I would highly recommend this place and would love to come back again in the fall! Thank you for a wonderful stay!
