Great location

Excellent location near shops and lifts. Note that when we stay both sauna and steam rooms were broken and unusable. Food at nearby restaurants was mediocre at best so need to drive down mountain for better venue.

Great place!

This was a great place to stay for our summer vacation. We used it for a base for traveling to Yellowstone, the Grand Tetons and for local sightseeing and hiking around Big Sky. Plenty of room for the four of us. Nice to have the murphy bed and pull out couch so the kids could each have their own bed. Scenery around the area was amazing! Would definitely recommend to others wanting to stay in the area.

Great location

This was a great location for a quick weekend with my husband. Unit itself was clean. Gave 4 stars on cleanliness of property as there were some remnants from previous quest and dishes had been put away dirty that we had to wash before using.

Cozy condo at the main base, nice amenities.

This was very comfortable for 2 people. Responsive host, super easy check in and check out. The condo has 1 bedroom, w comfortable queen and master bath. The second bath has a walk in shower, which we actually preferred. Kitchen is nicely stocked. Also has pull out couch and murphy bed in living room for more people if needed. Nice modern TVs in living room and bedroom - we easily could “cast” from our phones to watch Hulu etc. We liked being on the 2nd floor facing away from the hill, still has a view of the mountains (rather than the back of the Huntley if on a lower floor on the other side) and best of all can skip the elevator and just take the stairs one flight. The Shoshone condo building is attached to the Huntley hotel. The door staff and desk staff are extremely friendly and helpful and don’t seem at all concerned if you are with VRBO or a direct guest of the property. There is an indoor hot tub with connected outdoor pool in the Shoshone, and we were also able to access the Huntley hotel slope-side outdoor pool/ hot-tubs using a keycard. The ski valet on the hill base was complimentary when we mentioned we were staying at Shoshone. Ski lifts are a short walk from the side entrance of Shoshone. Easy to drop back in for lunch mid- day, and a relief to be so close at the end of a ski day (especially compared to everybody who stayed further away waiting on the parking shuttle!) Outdoor self parking (included) was reasonably convenient if you elect to bring a car. We did, and spent a couple days exploring (Lone Mountain Ranch Cross Country Skiing is about 10 minutes away - highly recommend!) . Downsides? None really. A couple early mornings we could hear the snow plow clearing the front entrance driveway outside our window, but that was not a big deal. There is no grill, but we pan-seared steak one night and honestly that might be our new favorite method! The fireplace is electric, but better than nothing. Overall: a nice little condo with easy access to the ski hill, hot tubs, and ski base stores and restaurants makes this condo a great choice. Would stay here again.

Big Sky stay

This property is a nice big sky village location for a skiing vacation. Easy access to the ski slopes and other accommodations in the village. The entire check-in and check- out process is seamless. Overall an excellent choice for a small family or couple looking for a place to stay.

Too many charges

The condo was very nice but all the charges doubled the price from what they say per night.

We loved the convenience of this property. We were walking distance to restaurants and shopping. Ski in ski out was perfect! Plenty of room for the six of us. The kids would have loved hot chocolate in the lobby. The bathroom could have been cleaner. We found pills on the floor and a used towel hanging when we arrived. Overall a great experience and we will be back.

Great Location

Everything was smooth with the renting, communication and checking into the property. The location was great for us just a very short/easy walk to the lifts. Used the kitchen each morning to make breakfast. Neither of our 2 twenty year olds wanted to sleep on the pullout couch. Uncomfortable for anyone except small kids. Would stay again

Shoshone’s the BEST

Basically a perfect 3 days in Big Sky. Ski conditions not great on Monday and Tuesday but was close to perfect on Monday. The Shoshone Resort in general and this specific unit were fantastic.
