Brett's Falling Waters - Hot Tub A/C Smart TV WIFI Pet Friendly

Listen to the sounds of the cascading waterfall while sitting on the deck of our rustic, cheerful little cabin. Enjoy a soothing soak in our four-person hot tub after a day of adventure in the village of Black Mountain (8 miles), downtown Asheville (8.1 miles), the Biltmore Estate (12.7 miles) or hiking the Blue Ridge Parkway (8 miles).

Brett's Falling Waters Cabin is ideal for singles, couples or small families who want to enjoy semi-rustic comfort in a mountain setting not too far from hiking trails, scenic drives, restaurants and the amenities of Black Mountain and downtown Asheville. Two bedrooms with Queen size beds and one bathroom with shower, our cabin can accommodate up to 4 guests (including children) and 2 pets. Nest controlled central air conditioning/heating and a cozy gas log firebox lends ambiance and warmth to the Living Room with Smart TV and free WIFI. Enjoy the eat-in kitchen with gas stove, microwave, dishwasher and full-size refrigerator, clothes washer and dryer. The driveway is gravel, level, and accessible by any vehicle. 4-wheel drive is not needed.

Answers to Frequent Questions: Cabin cleaning includes a sanitizing scrub out and fresh spring water refill of the hot tub between each guest as per NC Health Dept. requirements. The hot tub is located on the gated front porch.

Brett's Falling Waters Cabin sustained very little damage due to Hurricane Helene. A new roof has been installed, the driveway re-graveled and the waterfall rebuilt. We have approval from Buncombe County Environmental Health to recommence rentals.

While Swannanoa downtown recovers from Hurricane Helene, the nearest grocery store is Ingles Market in Black Mountain, 8 miles from the cabin. It has a full-service pharmacy, extended shopping hours, self-checkout, and accepts major credit cards.

Black Mountain has many wonderful restaurants; we can personally recommend the Black Mountain Bistro, Trailhead Restaurant and Bar and the Dripolator Coffeehouse. Also recommended is Berliner Kindl, Fresh Wood Fired Pizza and the Bush Farmhouse.

Conveniently located to both Asheville and Black Mtn-Blueridge Parkway this is a cozy 2 br cabin. It has everything you would need for a comfortable stay. The only reason i didn give 5 stars is b/c the hot tub took basically a day and a half to get up to temperature.

Weekend at Brett’s cabin

We had a wonderful weekend getaway and the cabin was perfect! Spotless, comfortable furniture, completely stocked kitchen, very nice appliances and new propane grill. The small considerations added up to a very comfortable stay. From a plastic covered dog bed with puppy linens to an adjustable bed frame, they thought of it all! Hurricane Helene removed so many of the trees that the neighbors are visible so not real secluded but the proximity to black mountain and Asheville was great. Highly recommend staying here. The hosts were great!

Needed a place to stay for Parents' Weekend at Warren Wilson. Local hotels were charging an exorbitant price. Luckily found this property as close to WWC as any of the hotels and much nicer — beautiful surroundings, hot tub, and a fire pit. Perfect. Would stay again.

Absolutely wonderful little mountain cabin, close to Asheville

This is a darling place. It’s a bit tight for more than two , but it’s so well set up, that the three of us barely noticed! Super convenient and absolutely wonderful little deck overlooking a private waterfall. We had a fantastic time and will be back!

Fantastic restful stay. Close to Asheville yet far enough away to feel relaxation of the mountains and country side. Loved taking the dog to Charles Owen Park and the house was very dog friendly. Loved everything about it! Would definitely stay here again.

Secluded retreat!

Our family and our family dog very much enjoy staying at Brett Fallingwater. Our dog loved the waterfall and we did as well. Our tub was a great place to soak those sore knees after long days of hiking and sightseeing. Everything we needed was included, and we enjoyed the Ingles discount card as well!

A small cabin in the woods that was a perfect spot for us to relaxand for our pup to explore. Bob & Lorna were gracious and quick to attend to any need. The cabin wasn't lacking for anything. Location is within 15 minutes of all we wanted to see and do.

Great place to stay!

My family and I stayed here 3/19 & 3/20. Great location and nice place to relax. Weather was a little chilly but the hot tube helped with that. Cabin was cozy and clean. Bob and Lorna were very helpful with tips on places to eat and sights to see. We would highly recommend!

We are Bob and Lorna, retired military and government employees from Northern Virginia. We have had our own home in Swannanoa for more than 20 years and love the mountains. We enjoy travelling, scuba diving and visits from our children and grandchildren. Our cabin was named by its original owner, Lorna's father Brett.

Why they chose this property

The cabin and surrounding property was purchased 40 years ago for family vacations. First offered for vacation rental on VRBO in 2005, the property and amenities of the cabin are updated on an ongoing basis to ensure the comfort and enjoyment of our guests. The Bee Tree Valley neighborhood includes a church, working sawmill and horse farm. The Cabin is equidistant to downtown Black Mountain and Asheville and is 25 minutes from the gorgeous Biltmore Estate. Enjoy the serenity of our mountains!
