Overall dissatisfied

We came 3 families for new years. 6 adults with children. We chose the location based on proximity to Beaver Valley Ski Club. Location was great but upon arrival we were quite disappointed for following reasons: - chalet was very dirty. We didnt trust any dishes. Cabinets with dishes were sticky and dirty with lots of dust. We had to empty cabinets and wash them thoroughly and then re wash all the dishes before using them.-lights in exterior of the building were not working. We reached out to property manager. They sent an electrician who identified a leak in the gas line which meant we could not use the bbq, firepit and indoor fireplace.-broken light fixtures outside were not repaired.-they offered compensation and never followed through with committment to give back money for poor experienceChoose a different place. For price we paid there are better options.-

A little slice of heavenly relaxation

From the effortless check-in, to the beautiful fall colours, we had a blast at this home. Large windows filled the space with natural light, more than enough washrooms to accommodate our larger group of 2 adults and 7 teenage kids. Kitchen and washrooms stocked with all the necessary supplies. The hot tub is easy to use and the tile floor and nearby washroom means no water dripped through the house! We highly recommend for a “getAWAY” from the busyness of your life!

4 stars for a 4 star property

A charming chalet with many notable flaws. The communication with "Dave" the concierge was notably poor right from the booking process and throughout the stay. To make matters worse, someone from Hidden Hideouts texted me to offer a discounted extra night around 10am . I enquired to what the rate was and didn't receive a response until 11pm. (13 hours later) I also enquired to "Dave" who finally responded around 4pm. If you don't mind mix matched kitchen items and very old and used pots and pans, it's an okay place. Chalet does not have regular TV and relies on renter to have streaming service.
