Fabulous villa in a beautiful location
We stayed 9 nights at this wonderful property and had a superb visit to this lovely region. We are a family of four with two adult children. The villa is very spacious and well equipped - ideal kitchen and bbq facilities for eating well, with the pool house being especially lovely for leisurely lunches. Amazing pool and lots of outdoor areas to sit and relax in, and the table tennis was an added entertainment bonus! The bedroom and ensuite facilities and storage make living very comfortable. The villa is spotlessly clean and the host, Jerome, was very attentive and keen to make our stay as easy and relaxing as possible.
A stroll into town takes 15 mins or so, where you can find an excellent boulangerie, deli, cheese shop and boucherie, as well as a well stocked Spar, and a great market on a Sunday. Lots of lovely restaurants and bars.
A walk to La Croix and Fort-Freinet gives spectacular long-reaching panoramic views towards the the sea, and the Maures Mountains - a steep hike to get there, but well worth it! It's a 15/20 min drive to the lovely village of Grimaud, a selection of bigger supermarkets and the beach at Port Grimaud. It's about 50 mins or so to St Tropez. I can highly recommend this villa.
