Amazing luxury 5 bedroom timber built 2400 sq ft chateau, sitting on a fully manicured half acre lot with pristine mountain views, in the heart of the Windermere Valley. Walk across the street to 36 holes of top notch golfing at the Copper Point Golf and Country Club. 5 min to Windermere Lake, and a 15 min drive to Panorama Ski Resort/Grey Wolf Golf course, Fairmont Ski Hill & Hot Springs, or Radium Hot Springs. Awesome home base for snowmobiling, long paved driveway with lots of parking for all types of vehicles year round.

Great for family get-togethers', sleeps up to 12 comfortably (8 adults and 4 kids). Features include a playhouse, horse shoes, and awesome fire pit in back yard. 2 big screen TV/DVD, pool/ping pong table, free wireless/long distance calls, ...this place has it all. Close to restaurants and shopping, right off the 95/93 highway, easy access. Prices based on 4 adults and 4 children, extra fees for added occupants, and for long weekends & holidays. This property is not part of a private beach club. There is one king bed & ensuite bath in the primary bedroom, a queen in the 2nd bedroom, two single beds in the 3rd, a queen & two single bunk beds in the 4th bedroom, a double bed & single bed in the 5th bedroom. We prefer on-line booking and payment.

Great home for family get together

We really enjoyed our time in the home. There was lots of amenities to keep the grandchildren busy and entertained. The layout of the house was perfect as you are in the midst of everything even when preparing meals

This was the second time we used Blair's home for our Year-end golf trip for my group of old freinds. We plan to book again for a third as his place is perfect for our needs.

Could use maintenance

Great location, perfect size for large family gathering. Second time back to this property but would have second thoughts of returning if some issues were not addressed. The main floor toilet was not working, the range oven had not been cleaned, the shower in the main bedroom drips constantly. BBQ is old grates are pitted

Great for Kids

Just a few things to note. The property location is good and easy to find. Private as well. The building however could use some maintenance. I had to repair a corner cupboard that was falling off the hinges as well as one of the control knobs for the stove fell off ( one backing screw of two missing- reinstalled) Lighting in Master bedroom is poor- dim and second light was missing a bulb as well. Kids loved the space outdoors- a highlight for sure. Kitchen was very well equipped and we thank you for that. Pool table was very fun! Air conditioning would be a plus to install.

Would NOT Recommend: Not worth it

Would not recommend staying at this rental. Is not worth the price. House not clean, just slight surface clean, dusty, dirty. Looks like deep clean not done in years. Oven hasn’t been cleaned in months, if not years. One of burners not working right. Vent on hallway wall absolutely filthy; mildew and dust behind beds in basement. Strong gross smell in basement. Main toilet top floor didn’t flush properly. Monday a septic guy came out with maybe 40 min of warning, so the previous renters must have complained about the smell and the toilet as well. Master onsuite dusty and shower stall rusty and moldy, dirty. Squeeking doors all over; decks and yard not swept and cleaned up; Barbeque real dirty; propane tank for outside heater empty; ping pong net wrecked (not useable); can’t use horseshoes as no sand and grass grown in; garbage bin full (not emptied); playhouse had nothing to play with in it, just a little table; fridge not cleaned and all the stuff still in the door from previous renters; washer and dryer not wiped clean. Overall we were not impressed. Photos do not match discrimination, looks like the photos were taken years ago.

For 12 golfers this was a great spot. Everything was as advertised and Blair the host was very responsive to my questions before we arrived. This spot fits the bill for our large group and we plan to use it now going forward. I have no hesitation to recommend

Beautiful area.

Huge open area behind house! Inside of the house is larger than the pictures make it seem. Within 15 minutes of lots of things to do. Beautiful area, quiet at night. Everything you need to cook and bar b q. Nice area for out side eating. There was ten of us and we were never crowded! Thank you for lending us your house.

Great time in invermere

Site was just what we were looking for. We had a family reunion with 6 adults and 5 kids from 5 to 10. Plenty of room. House was perfect bedroom s and backyard was just what we were looking for. Would definitely recommend for a large group. Within close driving distance to local beaches

Great year round get away, top of the line golf courses, ski resorts, and water sports. Tons of outdoor activities just minuites away, hiking, biking, skiing, ski-doing, you name it, you can do it in the Windermere Valley. Only 3 hours from the Calgary Internation Airport.
