JULY 4 WEEK:$4000. You pick the nights Nantucket is a special place, and Quidnuck is a special way to see it. Our home is located on the quiet and beautiful east end of the island between Sconset and Squam -- five miles and ten minutes from Nantucket town. The Quidnuck features large, light-filled rooms, fireplaces, a great kitchen, top-of-the-line furnishings and linens, three decks, a hammock, all beach equipment, foosball, and a huge enclosed outdoor shower. The house is fully air conditioned.
Quidnuck is set on 3.0 acres on a quiet road with only five houses. There are large front and side yards and the house is just one-half mile from a wonderful beach/pond combination at Quidnet -- each with lovely sand beaches and much different water experiences. The pond is about one mile in diameter, and is warm and quiet -- great for smaller children. The uncrowded beach is part of 36 miles of beaches on Nantucket that are open to the public.
There is a lovely sleeping cottage or teen hangout available for an extra charge.
We love the house and island, and so does everyone who stays here (see the reviews).
PLEASE NOTE: RENTALS IN SUMMER are by the week only and only Saturday to Saturday in 2022.

Lovely property and hosts. It’s even prettier in person. The home is on a quiet street on a quiet part of the island. Close to sconset, several beaches and only 15 min to downtown. Hosts were very helpful and accommodating.
Amazing location, great for young kids. Wonderful private yard with multiple outdoor spaces. Owner was nice enough to let us use multiple kid supplies that he had. (High chair, pack n play). Owner is very responsive. Will definitely stay again!
We had a wonderful stay at this house in Quidnet. Fires in the evening, a great kitchen + dining space to cook and hang with family, and a great front deck to enjoy coffee in the morning and cocktails in the evening. The owner was great to communicate with and made the whole process easy + accessible. Thanks, Jack for sharing your little slice of heaven - we will definitely be back!!
Had a great week in a very peaceful relaxing location. Home had every available amenity. I’ll look forward to returning with more of my family. Very easy to communicate and deal with the owner.
The house accommodates families very well and has lots of amenities such as chairs, umbrellas, coolers, bikes, etc. Too far to walk to the ocean with beach items but very easy with a car. Housekeeping didn't do a spotless job but certainly clean enough.
Jack’s cottage is a great home with everything one needs for a perfect Nantucket escape. The kitchen is large and fully stocked with anything needed for a gourmet meal - or head in Town for a sampling of some of the finest (and most expensive) restaurants in New England. Family room is large and inviting.
Bedrooms are comfortable and have private baths. Outdoor shower is great. Patios on all sides to follow the sun and avoid the wind if necessary. We hope to return sometime!
This home was exactly what we were looking for for a long weekend away in December. The house was clean and welcoming, and exceeded expectations. The pictures in the listing might be outdated, as the kitchen looked renovated (a pleasant surprise!). Additionally, we enjoyed using the fireplace to warm ourselves on a cold Nantucket day.
Property owner was communicative and friendly throughout the entire process. Would definitely rent here again.
I’ve been visiting Nantucket my entire life
Quidnet is a quiet peaceful part of the island and this is a well furnished rental property.
Jack was very accommodating
This was my second year staying for a week and I am already planning my return for next year
Jack's house is perfectly laid out to maximize relaxation with friends and family. We cooked all of our meals and having a kitchen that is totally stocked with utensils, pots, pans and spices was ideal. We had nice fires each night as it got a little chilly, sat on the porch in the mornings for coffee and breakfast and just had a lovely time. Being away from the hustle bustle of downtown is exactly what we wanted! We will definitely be back for future fall visits!
This was our first family vacation to Nantucket, and Jack’s house was everything we were hoping for. Not only was the house clean and situated on a lovely (and private) parcel, we also had a seamless experience communicating with Jack both before and during our stay. We would recommend this house to anyone looking for a classic Nantucket experience.
Overall great house with a very communacitive owner.
House was clean and ready for us, owner provided some recommendations for the area, great directions, and was accomodating to extend our stay when needed to finish our work. Thank you.
Quidnet is a quiet area of the island and the house is right by the beach. The house is really beautiful and offers its guests a great vacation option. There's plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. The kitchen is large and there are several sitting areas. There's three great outdoor seating areas and even a kid's room in a separate building. I would highly recommend this property for anyone that is looking to stay somewhere that is not down town, quiet, near a beach, and needs a home for a large family. I hope to stay there again!
We had a wonderful stay in Quidnet. The house was fantastic - plenty of space and porches for three generations of our family. Beach is about a mile away--walkable, but easy in a bike or car. Outdoor shower was great, Jack was a great host and very helpful--plenty of beach chairs, towels, kids' toys, etc. Was a great stay.
The house and location were ideal. Both were nicer than the photos suggested. The house was fully equipped and on a quiet street, walking distance from the beach. We look forward to returning someday.
The property has everything you need for a stay on Nantucket. You could arrive with a change a clothing and a bathing suit and find everything else you need. Owner truly wants you to have a great trip. Great communication with questions.
Great location about a 10 minute walk to the beach.
Property provides a great base to visit other parts of the island...town, 40th pole, and great point.
What a terrific find! The house was even nicer than portrayed in the pictures - cozy but plenty spacious, comfortable for our family of four plus dog, with generous sized bedrooms, bathrooms and common space. We ate at home for our entire stay, and found the kitchen easy to use, well stocked with cooking gear, and a pleasant space to spend time in. The three decks/porches are terrific extra space. We loved the location - easy access to bike paths, with several nearby conservation properties that are great for walking. The host was responsive throughout our stay, and deserves a special note of commendation - when the weather looked to be rough for our departure day and a ferry delay looked possible he arranged for us to have a late departure from the house without us even asking. We hope to return again in the future!

What. A. Treat.
Quidnuck was a terrific getaway from the frenetic holiday season. The house is bright and welcoming and well stocked for people who like to cook. I was grateful to be able to bring my dog and delighted when he kicked off the first morning chasing a cotton tail bunny (luckily he never gets close to reaching them). The stars at night are spectacular and it was lovely to sit on the porch in wonder. Jack the owner was terrific and supersonic
in responding to a minor hiccup. I highly recommend this home.
