Eden Lakefront House

House was very comfortable and Eric the owner was very helpful with excellent communication. Water craft available for rental. Zero cell service for phone but WiFi worked great. The house is in a very quiet area on the lake and within 25-40 minutes to Stowe and areas with hiking. Grocery store about 20 minutes away. Not many restaurants in the area unless you go to Stowe. Overall, a great place to stay.

Great house and great host

The house was fantastic! The interior was nice, the jacuzzi tub was incredibly relaxing, the beds were comfy, and the view of the lake was incredible. The lake itself was also great; fun to go swimming and kayaking in. And there’s an adorable little general store a few miles down the road. Eric himself was also a great host. He left us clear instructions about how everything works. He was clearly very passionate about this place and willing to assist us when needed. When our water went out due to bad weather, he worked to get it fixed as soon as he could. He responds to messages quickly and is always willing to help.

Relaxation and Splendor

Jeff and I throughly enjoyed our stay in Vermont. Our accommodations were superb. The rental unit was truly a home away from home. Our host, Eric, was there to greet us. He went out of his way to ensure our comfort during our stay. He is very knowledgeable about the area and gave us great advice on what to see and do in the surrounding area! We could tell that this property was dear to our host’s heart! It quickly became dear to our hearts as well! Thank you Eric for giving us the key to your haven! We would love to return to majestic Vermont in the future!

Quaint lake front cottage with views

Great location, views, outdoor space and access to lake. With only one bathroom, efficiency kitchen, small common and sleeping areas, I found it to be cramped for 5 adults. There was also no standard coffee maker (only a Keurig) which is not practical for accommodating that many guests.

About the host

I am a fun loving country boy at heart. I have lived in Vermont my entire life. I enjoy the summers on the lake, swimming, water sking, hiking, biking, sitting by the campfire by the water, roasting marshmallows. The autumn season has the most magnificent, beautiful bouquet of colors to see, a leaf peepers dream. The fall season is a time to enjoy scenic views, listening to the cool breezes whispering through the trees, bringing in the old man winter. The season of winter coming apon the mountains, brings the smell of burning fire wood and crisp cold air, it's time to get the skis tuned, get the snow shoes down, and get the snowmachines and equipment ready for the long winter. Don't forget mud season, bringing in the spring, getting ready to ride the four wheelers, and get dirty head to toe, bringing in the summer, and to do it all once again. So if and when I'm able to get away for a bit. I love to go to the southern most point, enjoying the warmth and blue water off the Keys, I try and get out and get some ocean fishing in, catch a fish if I'm lucky. Then on my way by the cape I love to cruise the beach and hang out on the islands of Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket Islands, hoping to catch a blue or a striped bass, like I did with my brother when I was young. I enjoy a good action film, the gangster movies are the best, throw a marvel movie in between for a great family night and I'm a happy man. I love my family and like to have a lot of fun. So come on up I'll be waiting for ya, come enjoy the best in Vermont, see ya when you get here.
