I really enjoyed this cabin with my family. This place is secure to stay in if you have kids. The property had everything we needed for the time we stayed in. I will definitely go back whenever I can.
This is our second stay at Hobby Creek. We came back with our kids and grandkids, and everyone enjoyed the retreat. We enjoyed the pool, played a few games of horse shoes and even cards out on the picnic tables. The cabins were clean just as we expected. It has all the amenities we needed, refrigerator, stove, microwave and coffee pots. It is a beautiful area, lots of trees and shaded. It's about 20-25 minutes away from river and plenty of places to eat in town. Would highly recommend you pick this place to stay. We will be back.
Our overall experience at this cabin was beyond awesome. The cabin was super clean, cute and beautifully decorated. It was fully equipped with everything you need. I would take extra toilet paper and paper towels we only got 2 rolls for two days 8 people. One suggestion i would recommend having a broom and mop to help tidy up the cabin. Over all i loved it.
We enjoyed our stay. We were away from cabin most of the time, and gave us a comfy place to rest after active days. I question how much cleaning is done between guests. The blinds are crazy thick with dust, build up in corners, floors dirty to list a few things. Otherwise beds are very comfy! Plenty of room for all of us even with a small cabin. Enjoyed the outdoor spaces! Everything we needed available.
We had a great experience in Dixie! With two families the adults both had a bedroom with all kids upstairs in the loft. The beds were surprisingly comfortable and we slept great. The only downside was no toilet paper, the hand soap was out, no oven mit, not enough wash cloths or hand towels. I called and they brought one roll and said more was coming the next day and more never came. A quick trip to Walmart solved our problem. All in all a good price and a happy stay!
We enjoyed our stay at the Dixie cabin! The check-in process went well. Remote and secluded. We were impressed with the log-cabin feel, and there were plenty of beds for our family of 7. Our kids enjoyed the loft, there was lots of room up there! We had fun exploring the grounds. We even found that the pool was warm or heated for our stay in March! Nice surprise! It was about a 20 minute drive to Broken Bow and the state park, but we didn't mind. We were gone for most of the day hiking and such only coming back for a cozy night in. We did read other reviews about bringing an extra tp roll and trash bags...we brough our own paper products since the kitchen was small and lacked some items/enough dishes. We enjoyed a campfire at the pit and liked the secluded quiet atmosphere. Did not have enough seating for our family in the main living area (couch and dining table didn't fit everyone), but there were 3 TVs which was nice. One bathroom and plenty of towels. Cement floors made it pet friendly. Thanks for the nice getaway!!
Partial roll of toilet paper for 3 people for three days. One trash bag. They say that’s all they supply on notes after you get there. Automatic gate was broken, had to get out and remove chain to get in and out. Nice cabin though.
The cabins were beautiful, looked small from outside but so roomy and cute on inside! It was everything the add said and we will be going back. Kids even got to use the pool.
The staff was very friendly and accommodating when needed help. The area was quit and pleasant. The cabin was not cleaned very well and swimming pool was extremely hot and could not enjoy it until dark.
