Built in 2010 on 3 acres, this property is perfect for extended and/or multiple families. The main building is three levels with a wraparound porch complete with rockers and a back patio dining area with scenic views of the pond. The top floor boasts ocean views for both the master bedroom/bath and guest bedroom/bath. The master bedroom opens to a deck which is perfect for morning coffee, reading and star-gazing. The main floor has an open kitchen/dining area with 1/2 bath, large pantry and TV room. The lower floor contains two guests bedrooms and a full bath. The dining room offers a large farm-style table that comfortably seats 12. The outside deck also offers seating for 6 guests. The separate barn has a large recreation room with entertainment center, foozball and ping pong tables and a patio with comfortable reading chairs. This building also features it's own laundry unit and a half bath. The top floor offers a 2-bedroom apartment with full bath and kitchenette. Both buildings feature outdoor showers for easy rinsing after the beach. Fully air-conditioned throughout, guests won't have to worry about sleeping in hot and muggy weather. House is nicely located not far from Champliin’s and The Oar so it is convenient to our boat. Also, like that it is directly off the main road rather than up a dirt road in the woods. The front porch was our favorite spot with beautiful views and always a nice breeze. Perfect spot for morning coffee or sunset wine!
This house has it all! It is our second year staying here. Katie is great to deal with. The house was very clean and has something for everyone! My parents and brother stayed in the garage. It worked out perfect to have their own space!
It’s a unique property with rolling hills, a pond, a “barn” with an “apartment” on top & large game room on the bottom. Exceeded our expectations and met our families needs.

We rented the house for a week for us, our 6 children, two partners, and a grandson. The photos don’t do it justice…the house is immaculate and spectacular. Out of the hustle and bustle of the downtown area, it was quiet and peaceful. The kitchen is fantastic and well equipped. Internet is DSL and marginal at best, but that is true basically everywhere on the island….plan on using a hotspot if you can’t unplug. The tv room/den has DirectTV. The only room without AC was the game room in the barn and with the door and windows open it was a great place to hang out. We had a really great week!!!!
We recently had the most incredible family vacation at this charming beach house. The house, sitting on top of a hill, this rental offered the perfect blend of privacy and convenience.
It was so easy to hop around and discover the beauty of the surroundings. Whether we wanted to hit the beach, head to The Oar, or simply enjoy the island life, this beach house was the ideal starting point for all our adventures.
One of the highlights was the barn, a treasure trove of indoor activities that kept our family entertained, rain or shine. The ping pong, foosball, and pool matches were an absolute blast.
We spent a lot of time in the back yard, where a nice patio overlooks the private pond. Cooking was a breeze with the multiple grills available.
This rental's most unique and heartwarming feature was Buddy, the Lonely Donkey, who resided just across the street. We witnessed the joy he brought to both locals and tourists, as everyone gathered to visit and feed him. It added a delightful touch to our vacation, creating a sense of connection with the local community and fostering wonderful conversations with fellow travelers.
