A great place to enjoy the great outdoors, well done bunkhouse, Very close to the river, my kids were able to play outside all day! We Will be back next summer!
It needs a good cleaning lights were dirty and greasy in kitchen and bathroom ceiling fan dirty light didn’t work on fan cow webs on sky lights and shower door wasn’t working good and had long black hair in shower
My husband and I loved this little place . It’s a studio type apartment and was great for us . There was not a full size fridge , which may be an issue for some , but it was fine for us . The griddle was awesome and we are looking to purchase one . The bathroom is a tight squeeze but has all you need . The beds were comfy and pillows are flat but we took them off all these beds and piled them up . If you are a person that needs a fluffy pillow bring your own . The tv is hidden in the bar on the floor , clever use of space . This place was spotless , had great finishes , was nicely done , has a good layout . There are kayaks for use but we don’t have time to use them . There is a charcoal grill outside and a picnic table on the deck . There is another property next door that could be rented for a bigger group . There is a very friendly cat that thinks he owns the place and jumps in every chance he gets . It’s off the beaten path but not a far drive from civilization. We had a great stay and are planning to book again to try out the kayaks .
We enjoyed our stay at this cute cabin .. The only 2 issues that we recommend for improving the guests stay would be adding a hair dryer (we never saw one there), and improvement of the wiFi .. we never could get the TV to work because of the Wi-Fi spinning and spinning .. the place was close to restaurants, very clean and safe. The beds were comfortable as well .. we enjoyed our stay .. thank you!
We were looking for a quick little getaway for the weekend that wasn’t too far and this was perfect! It was the best of both worlds! We were close enough to take the kids bowling and for ice cream but still had the feeling of being in a serene, quiet area when back at the bunkhouse. We were very pleasantly surprised and will definitely be back!!
The bunkhouse was a great little spot for myself and my kiddos. It was nice place to lay our heads at the end of a long day. We really enjoyed putting the kayaks in to the river. Everything was clean and the beds were comfortable. Cell reception is poor, floor space is minimal, and we had no luck with the Wi-Fi. However, I would still recommend it as none of those were deal-breakers for us.
Our family of 5 stayed at the cabin. So close to town but felt so rural. Loved that. Kids loves kayaking in the river. Very slow moving. Didn’t catch any fish. Cabin very clean. Linens so fresh. Beds comfy. This is a little space. It very cozy. The only glitch we had was there was not an oven. I mistakenly thought “full kitchen” would include an oven. Also, the fridge was a mini. Wasn’t a problem as it was cold outside and cooler worked fine but in summer May be an issue for large groups. There is a large cabin right next to this one. Would probably work out great to book both for larger groups. Our family loved this cabin and space.
We felt safe, secure and serene in this perfect little cabin. We kayaked on the river and enjoyed our dinner on the covered porch. We look forward to booking this property for future girl’s trips!!
Very nice cabin for myself and 3 of my buddies on a fishing trip. The only negative thing I have to say about the property is the tin and flashing on the backside is a hazard. Especially at night. Someone could get hurt with it laying on the ground. Other than that a perfect spot for me and my buddies on a fishing trip.
