Winter Park

Great property with lots of privacy and space for everyone and such a quiet gorgeous view of the mountains off the balcony. Enclosed garage was a wonderful bonus with the heavy snowfall we got while there.

Nice condo but be aware...

The Garage is the 1st floor. The 2nd floor is the first apartment. Lots of stairs. VACASA is not a nice company to deal with. Doesn't follow up on phone calls.

Mountain Magic

Really amazing property in a wonderful, secluded area of Winter Park . Unit design and decore is inviting, spacious and perfect for 6-8 people. Loved the loft, and the heated garage was way beyond our expectation ! Everything needed for our stay was provided. If you don’t mind walking up 2 flights of stairs, this unit is exactly what the Doctor ordered !

I really wanted to give this a better review

Good things: the place was in a beautiful location, it was quiet and spacious. Not so good things: housecleaning missed a few things. It was dusty and the floor was coated in dog hair and crumbs as though it hadn't been swept prior to us coming in. There was also a load of wet towels in the washer that we discovered on our 4th day there.. I spent the first evening cleaning and wiping things down. The appliances are extremely dated, in fact, while I was cooking the stove sparked at me and stopped working. Our meal was cold... Additionally, there was a very loud noise coming from the bathtub jets in the master bathroom that I had to call in repeatedly because they were so loud (and scary in the middle of the night) I couldn't sleep (I did not use them, they just kept coming on.) Lastly the fridge did not keep things very cold. I'm a single mom traveling with my kids and so these things didn't make me feel particularly safe nor was it relaxing for me to deal with but oh well. We still managed to have fun. I left 3 stars because I don't like to leave bad reviews as I understand it affects business. The truth is I would stay again if I saw that updates had been made on the place. If not, I'd probably keep searching.

Good location in winter park

Good location, close to trails. The condo was lacking extra trash bags & extra paper towels. Additionally, there was a large dusty cobweb behind the bathroom door and soap / body hair left behind in the shower when we checked in. Please be sure to clean thoroughly and leave ample supplies for guest stays.

Great casual condo

The location to Winter Park Resort and downtown was excellent. The unit borders national forest with trail access around the block wich was wonderful for our toddler and dog to explore. The fireplace keeps the condo very warm and the hot water comes up quickly for showers. The unit (floors, bedding, appliances) was clean, but quite a few of the utensils, dishes, and cups that were in the cupboard were very dirty. The lock box code provided by Vacasa didn't work, but they were able to provide another one over the phone which got us into the condo without too long of a wait. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would stay at the property again.

Roomy with character and close to trails for pets to roam

We enjoyed our winter stay here. Convenient to downtown and WP & MJ slopes. My daughter had her Blue Heeler dog - so the trails that are right behind the condo gave us a place to play and run out the energy and gave us a place to explore. The place is lovingly decorated with a lot of Winter Park memorabilia which was neat to look over. The kitchen was well stocked with what you need to cook. The appliances are ...vintage,but functioned well. We too had a problem with the ice maker leaking onto the floor when turned on. A bit irritated to read in the review of the stay right before us that had the same problem. Turning off the ice maker isn't fixing it. But the management did send someone out right away.Lots of space as well and great views from the porch, having a garage was great, made it easy to leave the skis in the car so we didn't have to lug them down the stairs each day. We would stay here again

Very nice space!

Good location to the slopes. And down town winter park. We brought our lab. And he loved all the trails just out the back door. There are a couple of things that need attending to. Grill does not work. And ice maker leaked on the floor(the tech came out same day) but nothing that made the stay less enjoyable. We come to Winter Park 3-4 times a year. We will be back. It’s a great family setting.
