The house is beautifully situated in a very quiet community. It has a lovely elevated deck, away from the house, looking over Little Harbour, as well as a boat dock beneath the viewing deck. The dock is perfect for swimming. Close by is Pete's pub with great food and very sociable locals. We really enjoyed our times here. But we mostly kept to ourselves and relaxed and took short trips to look at nearby sites. Our host Joe, and his property manager Assor were so helpful and responsive to any questions we had.
We sent Joe (the owner) a message after we stayed but no answer back, so we feel like we want to give an honest review here about our experience.
Here is the message we had sent to Joe:
We stayed at your place last week. We didn't get a chance to do a review, please send us the link.
You advertise "independent" bungalow but the fact is, the main house and bungalow are together (only separate entrances. There are a lot of things that are not up to date: there are no bicycles that are functional and we could have used. You have 3 kayaks, only one is good to use (the orange one has a big hole, the blue one does not allow backrest to mount, all parts broken off). There is no new surface on the tennis court. There is no jacuzzi. There is no fitness that can be used. We do not mind staying off the grid and we we were very clean, conservative but your home is in dire condition. Everything in the kitchen is greasy and overall the house is dirty (we took the shoes off in the house and immediately had very dirty feet). Only the bed sheets were fairly clean.
We looked at your video from 2013 that you still use for advertising your place and it looks great but over the years now, it is completely neglected. We fully understand the costs and also challenges of renting and running a place when not there but we feel like the price and quality of what you offer is not appropriate.
Great property! We stayed in the main house (VRBO propery #7018). House is very clean, has all ammenities you need. Property is stunning and the views are amazing. We spent alot of time on the deck overlooking the harbor watching the sea turtles and enjoying frozen cocktails (blender included). We enjoyed kayaking from the dock to north beach and to Pete's Pub (food and cocktails are fantastic - can't beat cocktails in the water).
This was exactly what we were looking for a great house, a quiet and relaxing getaway, with great snorkeling, private beaches, kayaking, fishing off the dock, and a fantastic beach bar.
The owner also provided us with local knowledge to find desserted beachs and great snorkeling spots. Would highly recommend this vacation spot.

Peaceful and private near Pete's Pub
My husband and I enjoyed our stay and found the accommodations to be very clean. This house is huge and can accommodate several different groups. Fortunately, we were there alone and enjoyed watching the turtles in the harbour from the sun deck. Playing pool and ping pong. The directions provided were accurate and the house manager met us on schedule. The photos don't quite capture the beauty of the grounds.

Quiet Escape
We enjoyed our stay in Little Harbour. It's a remote location and very quiet. The apartment is 'no frills' but the landscaping, Bahamian parrots and views of the harbour more than make up for it. The stars at night are spectacular too! We took the tandem kayak out one day and had a great time fishing and seeing all the turtles and starfish. We booked a fishing guide for 2 days, Donny, out of Cherokee that was well worth it too.
The kitchen had enough dishes and pots/pans so that I was able to cook some vegetables and grill the mutton snapper I caught.
I would recommend this house and location if you are interested in unplugging during your vacation, staying somewhere quiet and want to fish and kayak. Pete's Pub is right around the bend if you don't want to cook every night!

Unique property in an off-the beaten-path location
You cannot deny the spectacular views from this property!
A minor adventure to get there but we were looking for that. (Make sure your rental has good ground clearance-ours didn't, so slow going only on small section of road to house).
The property caretaker met us and showed us around the multi-level property with all its sports amenities and local character.
Accommodations were comfortable and clean. Being off-grid was fine for the two of us. The communication about the system was confusing and made us anxious that we were going to over-use or cause a problem. It was fine, but I would like to get more succinct and current information so I can relax about all that. Owner was quick to respond to email with questions after we arrived.
Really enjoyed the ramparts overlooking the harbour and all the boat and nature action. Dock gave a different view and interest. It was rather chilly and quite windy in March so we didn't get in the water as much as we've have liked but the options are numerous if you do.
Explored on foot the suggested trails and wasn't disappointed.
Of course, being able to walk, drive, or bike to Pete's Pub was great. And a short jaunt to Cherokee Sound to check it out is fun.
A very unique and interesting property that we hope to spend time in again.

Cozy
We came for the fishing and were not seeking anything fancy or expensive and the Bahama Bungalow was the right choice. Clean, comfortable and easy access to Robinson's Bight. We took the kayaks almost every day. Went out with Cherokee guide Randy Sawyer several days, including one in the Marls.
Enjoyed the game room and the gym. Beautifully landscaped property.
Loved Pete's Pub which is a great open-aired bar and restaurant in Little Harbour. Again nothing fancy but a great place to meet locals and cruisers anchoring in the harbor with lots of sea tails to share.
