Terrible

The photos due not give accurate pictures of the house. The house was old, dirty and outdated. The sheets were dirty and the furniture. The “master bedroom” does not have a bathroom. The nice bathroom is upstairs in the loft. This property was not taken care of.

Interesting Property

This was a mixed bag. The great room gave us great space for our extended family to gather for the holidays. The linens were clean and so were the restrooms and kitchen. However, the dining table only had two chairs that were in shape to sit on. My 82 yr. old father almost fell to the floor when the back gave way as he sat down. The kitchen was not equipped very well. We brought in chairs and kitchen gear of our own to be able to eat a dinner together. Out of 12 lights in the ceiling, only 4 were working, and other lighting was also not working. The house had two exterior doors. One of them was locked with a dead bolt with no way to open it, the other was located in the kitchen - the only way of escape if there was a fire on the stove. We reported the lights out and that the toilet was not flushing well. We received a reply right away, but with no offer to replace the light bulbs. We fixed the toilet ourselves. The carpets were stained and dirty. There were many furniture pieces very old and worn. The house smelled musty, probably from the old furniture. There were price tags placed on some of the pieces, which seemed weird. This place has lots of potential, but needs some TLC.

Very good stay with a few minor issues

Very nice overall, just a few continous improvement feedback comments re: the coffee maker was dirty on first pulling it out from the cupboard, and on attempting to clean it I did break the glass pot in the sink, as I noted to the managers at the time. A new/better/clean coffee maker would help much. Also, the door entry code was tricky to use. Lastly, my daughter and I both reacted with recurring repeated sneeze attacks over the stay, so perhaps the carpeting should be steam cleaned? Thank u!

Beautiful, unique place. Updated amenities and classic , historical feel. Loved the story the place could tell. Only drawback was the TV situation .

Modern comfort in classic home

We were all thrilled by the fireplaces (even though we did not use them), the antique furniture interspersed with the comfortable furnishings, the large refrigerator and spacious kitchen, and the laundry room hidden in the safe. The beds were comfortable, and we had plenty of space to spread out. Next time, on a longer stay, we’d look forward to cooking in the kitchen and gathering in the dining room.

Perfect spot

The house is a very pretty and very convenient to Sullivans island and the local restaurants. The neighborhood was quiet and nice and friendly. Only thing needed is lighting at the back entrance. It’s very dark going in and out to car.

A trip to the past

We enjoyed staying at this home. I felt like an 18th century vibe with great antique furniture. Quiet neighborhood.

Well maintained older home in central location

Location - quiet neighborhood less than 10 min to beach, less than 20 minutes to Charleston. Close to stores and restaurants. The living area is spacious and comfortable. Bedding is sufficient for a mix of adults and kids. Decor is a bit mismatched but there are some interesting antiques. I’m sure the house has an interesting history!

Wasn’t quite as pictured

House was older and darker than pictured. Had trouble accessing the property, instructions were confusing and Vicasa wasn’t very helpful. Had to take trash cans out and there was a sign stating we’d be fined if they weren’t out (after 6pm night before). With out plans it made it stressful. Location and neighborhood were great.

Perfect location & Plenty of space

This location was super close to downtown and the beach -right in the middle. Multiple restaurants and grocery stores within walking distance. 3 adults had plenty of room and all amenities to make our stay comfortable. recommend getting there during the day for lighted path from car to home.

Wonderfully Charming!

What a wonderfully, charming property with a lot of historical character! The subdivision was small and peaceful. The kitchen was well equiped and there were plenty of toiletries provided. Kudos to the cleaning staff as the place was clean upon our arrival. Vacasa guest service staff were very informative and friendly.

Deceptive Photo's - Dark, Worn, Disappointing

This listing is false advertising. The interior is dark, everything is worn out! Only a small TV in the living room, none in bedrooms, no place to hang up clothing in Master, Master and second bedroom downstairs share a VERY small bathroom which needs to be modernized. The price tags on furniture is tacky even if they are antiques. Not well cleaned, kitchen sink smelled bad because garbage disposal had not been run, coffee pot not clean, etc. Disappointing - back to staying in hotels.

Charleston visit

The location was great close to the beach, downtown, and convenience areas, such as grocery stores and CVS. Was priced well and lots of space. The downstairs bathtub water temperature was very hard to gauge, and it would have been nice to have had an outside seating area. There is very limited natural light coming in, so it felt very dark inside.

Mt Pleasant

Overall very good experience. There are a couple things that would have made it perfect. Cheap toilet paper No defined parking area Was not able to use front door for access Watched very little TV but the Xfinity remote needs to be updated No closets- should have had at least folding racks to hang clothes on

I'd stay again

Although the house was "musty" when we entered, after opening the windows the odor left. All minor amenities were in the kitchen and baths. I found nothing lacking with our stay.

Honeymooners

We found 1450 as a last minute alternative to our original plans, and it turned out to be a great decision. The style and character of the house is beautiful and ever piece of furniture was so comfortable. The specifically enjoyed the high quality mattress and pillows on the king size bed. The clean and spacious bathroom. It would have been slightly more convenient if the king size bed was adjacent to the larger bathroom, but not a huge deal. We also had issues with the TV not turning on, but also not a huge issue as we were only there for a couple days.

Spacious home in Mount Pleasant

This home is well located to shopping, restaurants, Sullivans Island and downtown. Located in a quiet neighborhood. Second floor provides a private space with a full bath. Living room is large and dining room table provides enough seating. Kitchen has a lot of storage and an eat in area. Washer and dryer included is an added bonus.

Great Little Quint Place

We just loved the house. It was a great location. Really nicely furnished. Only a single complaint. When the blinds were lowered in the master bedroom, the dust was incredibly bad to the point that we have to change rooms till it cleared/settled. This can be easily cleaned so no big deal. We would definitely stay here again for sure.

Very nice

We had a great vacation. House was very old and had lots of wonderful characters. The top of the coffee pot needed to be held down while brewing but that was the only negative and after the first time we knew to do that
