Nice property and as advertised. Fully stocked with everything you need for at home or the beach. Very short walk to Thames and backyard is great complete with fire pit, lights and daily visits from the rabbits. The bikes were perfect for us and used several times during our trip. Owner is very responsive. Having house to ourselves was a plus. Recommend this property.
Lovely appointed home with the charm and quirkiness of a historic home, luxury linens, comfortable beds and lovely furnishings. We walked everywhere and hardly used our car. This home was centrally located on a very quiet street. Yard was great and we enjoyed many nights outdoors sipping wine and enjoying the sea air. Paul was super responsive. We will return.
Charming and Lovely home and host. A Fantastic area for an enjoyable Newport stay. This Cape Cod home has such Character and Charm. The lovely furnishings made my stay over the top. The private backyard even has its own bunny along with the landscaped to perfection plantings, roses and hydrangea. It made me smile everyday to be surrounded with such peaceful beauty. The neighborhood is very safe and easy access to everything, with perfect neighbors. Thank you so much for this lovely experience to enjoy your home. It will remain in my treasured memories!

We thoroughly enjoyed our month at this home. The home is in an excellent location for old and young We hardly used our car. We walked most everywhere. We also rode our electric bikes to the Middletown beaches. We never had to worry about downtown parking. There is room for about 4 vehicles which includes the street pass. This home is very old (200+) and has lots of charm. The home has everything you need. It is clean, uncluttered and tastefully decorated. Importantly, the central AC works great. The owners have also provided high quality linens. The fenced in backyard is lovely and private. We would definitely rent this property again.
Paul's house is one of the most comfortable, clean and best located rentals I've ever stayed in. He is a fabulous host who provides many amenities so you can enjoy all of Newport. I walked to play tennis, road the bike around ocean drive, walked the cliff walk to see the mansions and dove in the ocean several times. Also, the back yard was a little oasis where I spent a few hours working remotely each day. I'm definitely coming back!
We had a great time at the house which is perfectly located and enabled us to walk to restaurants and shops. The house has everything we needed and Paul was responsive. Highly recommended.
We loved staying in this adorable cottage within walking distance to restaurants, shops and more. House is spotless and well equipped with top of the line linens, towels, etc. We can’t wait to come back!
