Expansive Coastal Views, 3 bed, 2 bath cottage, newly renovated

Sit on the sun porch with a cup of coffee and watch the birds, the breeze tousling the marsh grass and the sparkling waterways of the marsh and Cohasset Harbor. In the evenings, sit by the firepit with a cocktail in hand and immerse yourself in spectacular sunsets. The peace & serenity this private corner of the world can provide is restorative.

Use our kayaks to explore the marsh waterways & islands, Cohasset Harbor and the Atlantic Ocean. The beach is a short, lovely walk away.

On cooler nights, you can gather in the kitchen and enjoy the fireplace while playing cards and games. Or nestle into the comfortable chairs and catch your favorite movie.

You may never want to leave Stella Serena, but it is a short train ride or car trip into Boston. Scituate, and the nearby towns of Cohasset and Hingham are full of history, beautiful homes, shopping, dining and scenic views.

The cottage has everything needed to ensure a comfortable visit. It's warm, inviting and cozy. Plush beds & bedding, fast wifi, 2 hot showers inside and one outside, as well as linens, towels, shampoo & bodywash. The kitchen & laundry rooms are fully equipped and the gas grill and fire pit are available seasonally. The property may be under video surveillance.

The Salt Marshes of Treasure Island is a gated, tree lined property with resident access only. Guests feel like they have escaped to their own private estate. Stella Serena is one of a trio of homes we have available at the Salt Marshes. Stella Maris, across the yard is a 6/3 that sleeps 12 and has wonderful sunset and marsh views. Stella Sorelle, across the street is a 2/1 that sleeps 4 and is in the center of the island.

Our stay was amazing! The property was beautiful from floor to ceiling. EVERY detail was thought out and organized perfectly. The area and view was beautiful as well. Sweetest Cottage

We had the pleasure of staying at this cottage this fall. The cottage and its surroundings are even better than the pictures portray. The hosts kept us well informed from the time of booking until we checked out. We will definitely be booking again.

The Perfect place to stay

This is our 4th time staying here and we will NEVER stay anywhere else. The house is perfectly stocked, with the perfect location. Beds are extremely comfortable, the fire place is wonderful and you can't beat the view. So close to the train station if you want to go into the city for the night, but why leave when you can look out that window at that view - it's magical. We will be back again and again! Thank you ladies!!!!

Truly Serene & Special

My wife and I reserved "Stella Serena" in N. Scituate in March to attend a family wedding. Our son and his fiance stayed with us in the spare queen bedroom after the wedding reception and they were very glad they did.This a beautifully renovated and cozy cottage that is superbly managed by d'Amora Realty. Many amenities and personal touches are made available for guests.The tranquil location adjacent to the area salt marshes and coastal inlets of Scituate provided a peaceful setting that was quite special. It must be even more special during the warm months of summertime.Being a native Bostonian that moved from MA a few years ago, I enjoyed being near the coastline, despite the cold temps during our visit. Scituate is a quaint and beautiful town. We got to explore it a bit over the weekend and had also visited some great area restaurants, cafes, & bakeries too! It was a pleasure working with Mary and she was an excellent communicator and made our stay very special and comfortable. I highly recommend "Stella Serena" when seeking a well-managed, comfortable, and "serene" location for your next visit to Scituate, MA!

Beautiful location and home!

We stayed for two weeks with our three children and had a wonderful time. The house has been beautifully renovated and decorated and the views are stunning. The large lawn and private location was perfect for our kids to play outside.

Perfect coastal retreat

This property is a gem. The location is spectacular, beautiful salt marshes lead out to the ocean where you can see birds, ships, and even a lighthouse or two blinking in the distance. It was so serene. And the cottage! Charming, updated, and perfectly comfortable, in each and every room. You won’t want to leave!

Simply amazing

This is by far one of the most Beautiful cottages you can ask for. The views, the grounds, the cottage, it just doesn’t get any better. The beds are so comfortable, and the little touches through out the cottage make this the only place we will stay when visiting Boston. The city is totally accessible by train, Plymouth is a short drive. Perfect location with spectacular views and a Beautiful, clean cottage with everything you need and more. We can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful cottage with stunning views

We rented this cottage along with another house on the property. The cottage has been beautifully restored with all modern amenities. The views could not be any better. The kids kayaked every day and we really didn't even need to leave but did walk to the beach a few days too. The owners and their communication and extra help could not have been better.

The best ever!

We have stayed at VRBO rentals many times but this was by far the best stay ever! The house was pristine, the view spectacular, the beds comfy. and well-stocked with anything you could possibly need to cook a meal. Mary was responsive to any of our questions and made sure our time there was the perfect. We are three friends who travel every year to be together for girl's time together and all agree this was our favorite place. Thank you Mary, for making this the perfect retreat!

Wow!

Stella Serena is an oasis of calm in a busy coastal area. There's lots of fun to be had up and down the coast. When you've had it, the cottage awaits, its back to the world, the marsh unfurling in every direction, the ocean rumbling in the distance. Drink in all that beauty through the many windows throughout the cottage, or out on the deck overlooking the marsh, or at the firepit. We had a lovely paddle through the marsh to the ocean, in kayaks provided by the owners. The cottage had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. It's beautifully renovated and furnished. Housekeeping is immaculate, beds are very comfortable, and showers are great. The kitchen is very well equipped. We'll be back - if we can squeeze ourselves into the crowd making reservations! This is a truly outstanding property - many thanks!!

Exceptional Location! Private but minutes to local amenities

A lovely cottage, newly renovated in a very tasteful way. Great use of a smaller space, items were well thought out. The kitchen was equipped with lots of extras, a fully stocked spice cabinet, nice dishes and cutlery, tons of pots and pans, chefs knives. Beautiful linens and comfortable beds, gas fireplace was great for a November stay. Surrounded by exceptionally beautiful views of the ocean and marsh. The nature is just breathtaking. Walk to the beach, minutes to the harbor or N Scituate village. The one strong recommendation I would make to the owners: purchase a comfortable sectional or some style of couch. The 4 swivel chairs are not comfortable when reading, watching a movie, visiting with family or guests, or just enjoying the view. At some point in the day you just want to sit and relax, the chairs were not practical or comfortable. I would highly recommend the property as a lovely retreat setting getaway.

Private oasis

Very convenient location with fabulous sports equipment like kayaks and wagon and beach chairs. Looked like nice bikes in shed but didn’t need as beach was very walkable. Note, limited Scituate beach parking as most require pass, so being able to walk was great. House looks recently recently remodled and was perfectly suited to our family size, though when local family visited for dinner we pulled dining room chairs inside and beach chairs outside to accommodate 6. The dining table was long and could accommodate 6 or more, but with the setting so lovely we wanted to be outside that had only sitting for 4 in any one space. Easy to make do, but be aware. Clever laundry room and 3 bedrooms was nicely set out, but no obvious desk or work set up to use if working remotely, I used a luggage rack with a cutting board as desk when my husband and I both needed to work with privacy in different rooms. Still magical place and would certainly love to go back.

Beautiful cottage in a stunning location!

This is one of the best places we have ever stayed! Having grown up in Scituate, I thought I knew the town well. I was surprised to learn about this little "island" with gorgeous views tucked away in beautiful Minot. Mary is a gracious host who provided detailed instructions AND photos for check-in, a lovely welcome, and even a little history of this family's summer home. This cozy cottage is recently remodeled so everything felt brand new and it is tastefully decorated. The beds are very comfortable with quality linens. The kitchen is well-stocked with cookware, dishes, utensils, and spices. We stayed during the winter so we were not able to use all the wonderful outdoor amenities that are mentioned, such as the deck, shower, and outdoor equipment. But we did see a bald eagle catch a fish! We look forward to a return visit in the summer. It is a special place!

Perfect Cottage Vibe

We spent a long weekend at the cottage while visiting nearby colleges for my daughter. The space was so cool, calm and serene. The space is perfectly laid out with every attention to detail. It was just so completely comfortable. We enjoyed being in our own little space within an easy drive of everything and an easy walk to the ocean. The views are just incredible. We will definitely be back!

We are 4 sisters who grew up on Treasure Island in Scituate. We are so pleased to share this unique, relaxing & restorative cottage with you.

Why they chose this property

As kids, we loved exploring the marsh, playing kickball, riding our bikes to the beach and reading under the trees. In the winter we'd go sledding and ice skating. It was a kid's paradise. As adults, we appreciate the serene privacy, fun shopping, great restaurants, history, architecture & proximity to Boston. Our family has owned Treasure Island for 80 years and we are delighted to be able to share it with our guests.

What makes this property unique

Perched on the water's edge, whatever the season, the views from the cottage are ever changing. Whether the water is a brilliant blue or a steel gray, whether the marshes are still or rippling in the breeze, sunny skies or an approaching storm - the view is panoramic and mesmerizing. Sit in the living room with a wall of windows, or on the outside deck, take a deep breath and relax. Grab a glass of wine and watch the sun set. It's a magical spot.
