Welcome to 99 Pheasant Tail #3! This modern mountain townhome is located in the heart of Big Sky's Town Center! This townhome features an open layout on the main floor with the kitchen, living, and dining room. The kitchen in this home is beautifully done with plenty of counter space to cook for everyone! After dinner, enjoy a movie in front of the fireplace with friends and family.

In the Winter, this central location provides prime access to a multitude of Big Sky's winter activities! If you are looking to downhill ski, take a short ten-minute drive up the hill to Big Sky Resort, home of the "Biggest Skiing in America!" If cross country skiing is more your cup of tea, it's only a 4-minute drive to Lone Mountain Ranch to enjoy over 80 miles of world-class nordic trails. Big Sky's own skating rink is also located in Big Sky's Town Center, during the winter months. (Weather Dependent)

Enjoy all that Big Sky has to offer in the summer, with live music at the "Music in the Mountains" weekly concert series and the savory/sweet treats at the Big Sky Farmers Market. There are plenty of hiking trails that you can walk to including the Hummocks and Uplands trails. If you're in the mood for some shopping you can head to Town Center and stop by Montana Supply or some of the other shops.

This home does not have air conditioning.

Most homes in Big Sky don't, thanks to our typically mild summer temperatures. For a true Montana experience, we recommend our classic "Montana A/C": open the windows at night to let in the cool mountain air, then close them and draw the blinds first thing in the morning to keep the cool air inside throughout the remainder of the day.

Transportation to Big Sky From Bozeman Airport:
In order to experience all that Big Sky has to offer, it is helpful to have access to a vehicle during your stay. This allows you to travel seamlessly throughout the community from the Gallatin River to Lone Peak. While ride-sharing and taxi services are abundant in other communities, Big Sky remains a small town with limited options for transportation. We offer a 5% discount code to Explore Rentals for confirmed guests. They are located minutes away from the Bozeman Airport and provide 4-wheel drive vehicles with dedicated snow tires in the winter and all-season tires in the summer!

Perfect place in Big Sky

The home was outstanding in every way-clean, spacious, beautiful, a well-equipped kitchen and pleanty of essential supplies. The location was perfect for hiking and exploring the mountains and hot tub was a real treat. The Two Pines staff were extremely responsive and friendly.

Great place in Big Sky

Beautiful home. Well equipped. Great location- walking distance to restaurants in Big Sky. 1 hour to Yellowstone west entrance. Great hike to Ousel Falls just 5 min up the road. Very responsive Two Pines property management. Internet went out on a Saturday morning, but Two Pines was all over it - had it fixed right away. Surprised at how quick they responded and took care of it. Would easily choose to stay here again.

Perfect location, beautiful home!

First time in Big Sky for a ski week, so we weren’t familiar at all with the surroundings. The home is in a perfect location for restaurants and market. A short 3 block walk. We utilized the free skyline shuttle to which is a 2 block walk and runs every 30 minutes for skiing. Worked out perfect for a quick free ride up to the base. The home is as pictured, I would say even more spacious than shown. The house was very clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. Ample storage space on every floor. Our teens enjoyed their own rooms with TVS. The kitchen had everything needed to make meals. They’re was not a kitchen tool that they did not have! And both a coffee pot and kuerig. We enjoyed the hot tub every night after skiing. The have pool towels ready by the door. The management and communication was incredible. We received all the info to enter a few weeks before, plus a welcome text with all info the day of. They have a manual that explains how to use all the amenities, including the hot tub. They were replacing the dishwasher while we were there. We were without a dishwasher for a day or so and they offered to come wash our dishes, which we declined. We contacted them once with a question and they responded very quickly. Overall a perfect, cozy home for a ski weekend with all the needed items for staying in. Ideal location for both walking to town and catching the shuttle!
