Hidden gem in downtown Dunedin! Wake up and walk to the cafe of your choice. Later in the day stroll to a romantic sunset. When your done for the night, sleep in the conort of a clean home to rejuvenate for the next day.
This property is so wonderful and exactly as pictured! We had a lovely time staying here as it has everything you need and more! The hosts are so kind, responsive, and helpful for any recommendations. I will certainly be coming back for another stay as this town is so lovely!
We loved the cozy stay in this nice residence ! Tucked away private and cozy. Really appreciate the communication as well as cleanliness of this listing . Recommend for anyone looking to explore Dunedin. I’ve been coming here for 29 years to Dunedin. I would recommend this location to anyone new or returning
This cute little place is located right in the middle of everything! We were in town to visit some breweries and everything was in walking distance. We will book here again if we come back to Dunedin.
Location could not have been better. Just minutes from restaurants, bars, shops, and the marina in Dunedin, yet far enough out to be quiet and relaxing. We didn't need our car at all and just walked everywhere. Beautifully furnished, we loved it!
We came down for a wedding and have never been to the area. Everything about the place was great! It was in such a convenient location to downtown but far enough away. It was super clean and a perfect size for the 2 of us. Erin was a great host and we would definitely stay at one of her properties again.
We loved staying at the hideaway. The location couldn’t be better. Walking distance to Main Street with tons of shops and restaurants. The property was clean and beautifully decorated.
Erin and Bill were excellent hosts and checked in to make sure our stay was going well. We can’t wait to come back.
5 stars across the board! Peaceful, Quiet, Cozy, Location was fantastic! Erin checked on us to make sure everything was to our liking. If you’re visiting this area I would definitely recommend staying here.
This is a small and quiet place, perfect for two, hidden behind a bigger house which you share the driveway with. The location is walkable to all of Dunedin’s best. If I had to critique anything, it could use a small cooler for day trips to the beach.
My husband and I spent three days at this adorable getaway spot! Erin and Bill are great hosts and made our vacation truly special. You cannot beat the location. It a very short walk to mainstreet and the downtown area. Coffee shops, restaurants, and all of the breweries are within walking distance. If your goal is to do a brew tour - this is an ideal location. The property is spotless and very well maintained. It also has a full kitchen with everything you could possibly need. Honeymoon Island is a short drive and it is beautiful. We are already looking at another stay because we enjoyed it so much. A truly relaxing vacation with no worries.
We absolutely LOVED the Hideaway! It was so clean, fresh, beautiful, well-maintained, close to downtown, easy to access, cozy, and charming! Erin & Bill even included a filtered water pitcher, which we appreciated, in this FL heat! The space is gorgeous, has everything you need, and has such a "home away from home" feeling. Highly recommend!
The cottage was fine, however a few things worth mentioning:
Good- great number of outlets, comfortable bed, plenty of closet and bureau room, great shower, great location. Nice to have cleaning products and garbage bags under sink.
Recommendation: Need more dinner plates, would have loved more outside space, sofa very uncomfortable.
My husband and I absolutely loved this little cottage! The linens were lovely. It was decorated so well and not cheaply done like many rentals. The place had everything we needed including an amazing high pressure shower. We were interested in booking a larger property of Erin's and she was kind enough to take time out of her day to give us a tour. We would definitely stay in any property that Erin has again! Great stay!
Superb property with thoughtful amenities, including Brita pitcher to filter your drinking water. Nice linens, comfortable bed and furniture, very relaxing vibe and exceptionally clean. Private, quiet and easy walking to downtown attractions.
We had a great experience at Highland Hideaway., and look forward to a return visit.
Thank you Erin and Bill
The Hideaway is in a practically perfect location -- to enjoy downtown Dunedin (5 min walk) or to venture out to beaches, restaurants, shopping in and around Dunedin. Erin was instantly available to answer questions (or to solve problems/issues, if we had any -- we didn't). The cottage is actually bigger than it looks in photos, plenty of room for two people, and was stocked with everything we needed for a three week stay. We're coming back!
Cute one bedroom with a great location. We love to walk and ride our bikes, so we couldn’t have asked for a better location. We were disappointed that we couldn’t warm up leftovers in an oven or even a toaster oven ( only has a microwave). My biggest complaint was the tv system was for streaming. For others this would be fine, but was an issue for my championship football game. I just wish I would have known ahead of time. We had to go out and buy a cable. A nice touch was a board where people left suggestions for restaurants or drinks. We would definitely stay in this cute cottage again!
Beautiful, peaceful, cozy home near conveniently located
Thank you Erin for your hospitality and kindness. I love how you decorated the house and all the details you put into consideration. There was cold water inside the fridge, and a full kitchen with all necessary appliances. In the bathroom she had shampoo, conditioner, soap and more than enough towels. There’s also a washer and dryer to leave with your clothes clean. The water from the shower head felt amazing! The house was super cozy, peaceful, homey and beautiful. I didn’t want to leave. My husband and I fell in love with the house and the location. All kinds of restaurants nearby. We could walk everywhere and the neighborhood was safe and beautiful. The covers on the bed felt so good. We will definitely be back! We fell in love with the area and the cozy house. We felt like honeymooners. She constantly checked on us through message to see how we were doing and if there was something else she could do for us to make our stay more pleasant. Last but not least, we took our jetskis and it was so safe and convenient to bring them and park them all the way back from the street and it was so close to the water. Totally recommend!
An awesome experience! Erin was fast to answer all my questions.
